Living in the woods , I can describe it as feeling deeply connected to nature, with a sense of peace and tranquility that can be both grounding and invigorating. It's a place where the everyday hustle and bustle of life can be left behind, allowing for a deeper appreciation of the natural world and its rhythms We are relax and refreshed! Thank you ! Till next time âŠ.
Spacious for large groups of all ages. Close to shopping, hiking, swimming ( Pinecrest Lake ) gambling. House stays at a perfect temperature. Fun was had by all.
Beautiful home very comfortable for a large family,
If you have a large group of people I recommend you bring some dishes & pans for food you will be preparing (bakeware)
Rented for a family birthday get away and this place did not disappoint. From the beautiful views from the windows and decks to the comfortable beds the attention to details are incredible- you can tell no expense was spared in designing and decorating! We will all for sure recommend and would love to return:)
We had a great time at this cabin. Everything was clean and communication was great! Definitely for a big family, we went to celebrate our sonâs 8th birthday with family and friends. We went tubing at Dodge Ridge which was only 15 minutes away.
The only thing I would recommend you bring is: containers or bags for leftovers, foil, saran wrap etc.. Also there were only two steak knives.
We brought paper bowls, napkins and plates which came in handy.
It is a beautiful home with a stunning view. We had a lovely weekend and didn't feel the need to leave the house. The home has a large deck on both floors, and the top floor deck was covered with snow, which was perfect for the kids to play in and build a snowman. Right outside the front door, there was an ideal spot for sledding. The owners have provided everything you need for a great weekend. You might want to bring firewood if you want to make a fire. During my stay, I asked the manager some questions, and he quickly responded to me.
Itâs a great property, has everything you need and everything you didnât know you wanted. We played board games and pool. We cooked a lot and if it had snow on the ground we would have used the sleds that were in the yard. There were 13 of us from 6month-45yo. Short drive to pinecrest and dodge ridge. Contact with host was prompt and pleasant. Note: my Gps didnât get us all the way to the house, had to keep driving down Inyo until we found it and I lost cell service up there in Cold Springs, so be prepared when youâre driving up especially if there are multiple cars.
Comfortable and spacious house. Super cozy during our ski trip. Communication is fast and clear. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing is that the house is located at the bottom. It was hard for our car to get up even with chains on. It took us a lot of tries and google searches. But it could be just our car and we had fresh snow during our stay. (The other two families' cars were OK to drive up)
Beautiful cabin! We fought a snowstorm getting there but the host was great and very helpful. We had a wonderful time with our three kids under 5 and another couple and their 2 kids, 8 and 10. Kids played in the snow and sled outside the whole time
It is one of the nicest properties in Cold Springs and the surrounding Pinecrest Lake area due to its premium construction, building materials, and fixtures. It also borders the Stanislaus National Forest, which offers a unique uninhibited view of the forest and a greater degree of privacy than many other properties in the area.
In winter, sledding is possible on the long slope immediately outside the front door of our cabin. In addition, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is about a 10 minute drive away.
In summer, there are many nature hikes directly around the property on trails (or through the forest from the backyard if you have a GPS device to guide your way). One of these short hikes is to a creek that is the beginning of the North Fork of the Tuolumne River. There are also much more day hiking trails to drive to all around Pinecrest Lake and if you drive farther up to Donnell Vista, Dardanelle, Kennedy Meadows Resort, and Sonora Pass.
