This beautiful and recently remodeled, open-floor plan home is conveniently located directly across from Cowles Mountain, one of San Diego's most visited hiking trails. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. Perfectly located for the outdoorsy family. Tons of hiking and mountain bike trails are just across the street. Only 15 min. away from beaches, zoo, & Sea World. Gaslamp/Downtown is only 20 min. by car. After a day of exploring, come home to a newly-built, salt-water pool and spa. 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath. Each bedroom has a full bathroom.
Large 9' island in kitchen.
Enjoy listening to music through the surround sound ceiling speakers.
Small rock climbing wall and a Swedish Ladder in the garage that kids will love.
5-minute walk to the neighborhood park that offers spectacular canyon views. 3-minute walk to coffee shop, restaurants, gym, and fresh-pressed juice bar. Directly across the street from Cowles Mountain main trail. 5-minute drive to Mission Trails Regional Park. 5-minute drive to grocery stores, 24 Hour Fitness, drug stores, library, and gas stations. Parties:
Do not book this property if you are trying to have a party or a large gathering. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Parties, loud music, or large gatherings are absolutely not allowed. All parties will be shut down right away and result in immediate eviction with no refund. Smoking Policy:
This is a smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted on the premises. If any evidence of smoking is found, there will be a $500 fine. Pet Policy:
Sorry, but no pets are allowed. Having a pet will result in a $300 fine. Noise Level:

What a pleasure to stay here! Wonderful location with brilliant amenities - video games were a hoot for the kids and the adults! What a great pool and hot tub. Our host was super responsive and Can’t wait to plan our next trip!

Great rental with fantastic pool

We loved the house and backyard. Miguel was very easy to work with on check in and out. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We hope to stay there again when we return to San Diego.

We truley enjoyed our stay. The house was perfecr for our family. Clean, great communication, and great location. The back yard was prefect for us. Pool, soa, outdoor seating, grill and space to spend quality time. Close to everything. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Home

Our daughter and her husband live six minutes from this home so convenience and space for three adults was our goal This beautiful spacious home exceeded our expectations check in and communication with host was seamless. Beds were super comfy, and kitchen and bathroom amenities were very well appointed. We would highly recommend this home and it’s beautiful mountain location to anyone traveling to the San Diego area.

Beautiful and Relaxing

My girlfriends and I had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at San Carlos. It was raining the whole time but we still made use of the jacuzzi and pool. Overall the house was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with our host was great. I would definitely stay again!

San Carlos House

Pool was amazing, nice to have three bedrooms each with their own bath. Beds were worn and could use replacing. Could have used more patio furniture for outside lounging but overall was a great trip with a good host!

Beyond our expectations

The house and property are even better than the pictures. My wife and I live in a small home in La Mesa but wanted our family from the East Coast to experience SoCal living so we rented this house. It exceeded all expectations! We loved the bedrooms, open concept living and amazing pool! Plus the location can't be beat with excellent privacy, beautiful views of Cowles mountain and close proximity to the trail head. We hope to return next year!

Birthday vacay

Spent several days in this beautiful home celebrating my daughters second birthday. First we noticed how clean the property was. The home itself is very comfortable and fit us all well. The pack n play was very much appreciated. The pool was everyone’s favorite, we spent hours enjoying it. House is 20-25 minutes from popular attractions but everything we needed was collapse by. Coffee shop in walking distance. Walking trails right across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day! Only recommendation is to add a few more blankets. Otherwise, perfect!!

Nice home in a convenient spot, but some unsavory activities

The host was good and the home was nice enough. Not particularly well-appointed for a family. It felt a lot more like a short-term rental than a home. Not especially comfortable, but good enough for the amount of time we were there. Oddly, a neighbor came to the home while we were staying there to tell us that the hosts/owners have turned a nice neighborhood into a cesspool where the home is regularly rented out to adult filmmakers and other parties of unsavory characters (with too many gory details), which immediately made me and my family wish we weren't there at all. I will not be returning.

overall, the location, coffee and showers were good. However we kept having issues with keeping the spa heated, turning on the lights to the pool. also the fire pit table didn't work and we had to constantly had to clean the pool with the net but noticed the net had holes that allowed it to not pick up much. The pool and spa didn't smell fresh and clean but we tried what we could so my family could enjoy themselves. Now for the bedding in all rooms they did not smell clean at all so we washes them ourselves. also there wasn't any washcloths at all. If your going to rent out a home that is well over one million and renting it at the daily price that it is I would definitely make sure I update the washer and dryer and have more things to cook with. The Main disturbing thing is we were stopped by a neighbor when we were leaving and said the home is rented out to porn people and filming videos as well in the pool. Very disturbing to know that. won't rent this place again.

Ricardo, We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We were unaware of the above mentioned issues. As a matter of fact, we stopped by and asked how everything was going and you said everything was going great. As for the neighbor you mentioned, that could’ve been anybody and we definitely do not rent the property for what was claimed.

It was a good stay. My family spent a lot of time in the pool during our stay but minus a star as we had to do some minor cleaning around the home and pool. Location of home is about 20+ minutes from everything.

Miguel was very helpful. He reached out just after I booked the trip and made sure to answer any questions, even offered to provide floaties for my son. He was helpful throughout and the house was great. Having an en suite in each bedroom was great and the pool was enjoyed by all. Would definitely book again.

San Carlos Oasis

Spacious, open floor plan...Great outside entertaining area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this home. We had an event at Petco Park but wanted to be on the outskirts. This was the perfect place to relax, swim, and order in! We also found a yummy coffee shop not too far away as well as a grocery store for the essentials. Plenty of towels which was a plus with a house full of girls! Also, thanx for the early check-in! Thanx Miguel

Beautiful location

We had a great stay at this property! The property manager was great to work with and the property was serene and in a great location. We had a couple issues with the fridge and dishwasher not working but we managed. Overall great property.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Had a great stay at this listing. Loved the interior, it’s honestly what I want my future house to look like! Each room had its own bathroom and was decorated in a tasteful and minimalistic way. The shower in the master bathroom doesn’t get as hot as some other places, but I wouldn’t count that as a downside (just something to note depending on your preference). My favorite thing about this listing was the kitchen, it was very spacious, much like the rest of the listing. It was the best choice for me and my loved ones to enjoy a few days vacation!

I used to hike the mountain right across the street from this house every weekend, so when this house came on the market I knew it was for me. Instead of driving to the mountain, now I walk across the street. It was the best purchase I ever made.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The sunsets from the balcony and from the top of the mountain are spectacular. You won't regret them one bit.
