Experience the local living, not the usual tourist trap. Safe neighborhood. Laid back away from the hustle and bustle city life. Country style of living. Rooster walking around and crowing. The only part of the Island that I would want to raise my children. Close to Kahuku Hospital and Kahuku Elementary and High School.
This was an amazing place to stay in Hawaii. The house was clean and easy to get into. The air conditioning was great and it was super close to everything we wanted to do. This is a home that gives you the feeling of living like a local.
Loved this rental. Great location for staying on the North Shore. Clean and plenty of room. Loved having a kitchen and laundry. The check in and check out was easy.
It was an overall great stay for our family! The host was very responsive and friendly. She made an extra effort to make sure we felt welcome and to answer any questions we had.
The property had everything we needed, including beach towels and toys. We'd definitely stay here again!
Easy check in! Clean and comfortable! Property is on the NE side of the island not far from Turtle Beach. Absolutely beautiful side of the island! I would recommend this property!
Exactly what we were looking for, away from the noise and congestion of Honolulu. Fit our group of 6 comfortably. The area was quiet and close to some amazing food trucks. You are close to some beautiful beaches and many attractions.
Genevieve was a wonderful host, made sure we had everything we needed, and recommended many things for us to do. Will definitely stay again.
Overall a great place to stay. The location was perfect for shops and restaurants. Beach was about a 15 min walk.
Only complaint was the cooking range. Main burner wasnât working and the burners leaned quite a bit making it hard to cook on.
But overall it was a good stay!
Very convenient for my family to stay at.
My son goes to Kahuku High School and it was his homecoming Football đ game.
We were next to the high school. We were able to walk to the game.
Food trucks were near by too.
Just made everything feel like we were home.
We will stay there again.
Genevieve is a wonderful host. She was very helpful in every way. This was our first time to Hawaii, and the property made for a great base camp to explore the North Shore.
The property is clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all of the tools we needed to eat in. We made about half of our meals there. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. Would stay there again and would recommend to a friend.
This was a great little place to stay. The management was very helpful and friendly. And It was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen and use of laundry. There were beds for 5, and extra mats and blow ups to lay on the floor and a couch to sleep on as well so that was good. My only complaints were small and not a huge deal, but I do wish the windows had better coverings for more privacy and that there was an ac unit in the front living area. But overall this place was a great place to stay! Close to beaches, food trucks and the PCC. Thanks For your hospitality Genevieve and Tiger too.
Genevieve was very responsive. Property was as advertised and comfortable. Portable A/C units did their job although a bit noisey. The noise helped cover up the noisey rooster that started his "roostering" at about 4:30am every morning ... Generally, he was done within about 10 - 15 mins. Queen bed was comfortable. Enjoyed quiet evenings. Kitchen area was well suited. Had a challenge figuring out how to operate the shower .... "Pull down on the main water nozzle underneath".
The house is a great place to relax and prepare for the day. We wanted to stay near Laie and this house is only about 8 minutes away. We also mostly stayed in the northern half of the island as Honolulu is about an hour away. We had six people and it was a little hard to fit all of us.
Genevieve was a great host. There is another family who stays on the top floor and you can hear them through the ceiling but it was never bad or late. There are chickens in the neighborhood which crow, but in Hawaii you will find those anywhere that isn't a city. It is also nice that there is a car port so when it is raining you are protected.
I would stay again if I were to go again.
The rental was clean and neat in a quiet neighborhood in the north shore. Genevieve is kind and caring. She was the sweetest she even cooked for our family! Anytime we needed to reach her we could and her hospitality is amazing. Highly recommend and would definitely return! Mahalo!
We had a wonderful time at this cozy home on the North Shore. We arrived to a nice clean home. We loved the location. It's so close to the food trucks and some good breakfast spots. Beaches were all nearby too. Genevieve was so great to communicate with. She's very kind and was available anytime we had a question. We were also able to rent her van while we stayed there. We had a wonderful North Shore experience. :)
Perfect property for our stay!! Clean, great price and the host Geneveive is awesome!!
Cozy and clean. Had everything we needed. Such a bargain too. We loved our stay! The host truly embodies the spirit of Aloha! We will be back for sure!
This place was perfect for our family of six. We loved the location and proximity to beautiful beaches (not as crowded as Other North Shore spots). We loved how close it was to the Polynesian Cultural Center (a highlight of the trip). It was super nice to have just a short drive home after the night show finished. I appreciated the full kitchen to keep the food budget down for a traveling family.
Genevieve was awesome to work with, prompt in communications and bent over backwards to make our stay the best. I will definitely come back to this place.
Genevieve and Henny are island locals, raised in this Kahuku community. We are alumni of Kahuku Elementary, Kahuku High School, and University of Hawaii. We love Kahuku and hope you will enjoy your time here and create special lifetime memories!
