Recently renovated 3 bedroom home. Private master bedroom w/ attached master bath. 2 additional bedrooms are on the other side of house w/ main bathroom. Sleeps total of 7 but large sunroom can be used as an additional room w/ blow up air mattress for 2. Large lanai for entertaining & outdoor dining, leads to private pool w/ bathhouse. Washer & dryer on site. Outdoor patio w/ firepit.
8 minute drive to Manasota Key beach. Walking distance to downtown Dearborn St and Publix Supermarket. 15 minute drive to Venice.

We took our 1 and 4 year olds on thier first vacation to the beach and staying at this house was just about perfect. The layout was very convenient for enjoying the beautiful and clean pool. There were plenty of supplies throughout the house and especially for cooking. It felt homey and like the owners really cared about the property instead of just being more like some of the others we have rented. The owners (I believe I mainly spoke to Amy) were very responsive to any questions we had and seemed to really care how our stay was. The neighborhood also was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

Spring getaway

We had a lovely time at this house. It was very comfortable. Had everything we needed. The owners were really responsive and kind. They have a great screened in area along with the pool. We would definitely stay here again. It was in a good location and easy to get to the beach.

Awesome Vacation Home

We had a wonderful family vacation at this house! We enjoyed the pool and the screened patio area with a bar and tv and patio table. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. We would definitely stay at this rental again. The pictures show exactly what it is like.

Great location

We enjoyed our two weeks at this property! The home has everything visitors could want, including a pool. The location is very near a grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, and a Manasota Key beach. The kitchen have everything any cook might need. The home has many comfortable sitting areas for gathering, including a large covered outdoor dining area.

Not what we expected

The owner is responsive...but we had some issues with house cleaning, the clothes dryer, and the front door lock. Thankfully we knew the door lock wasn't working on our way out and not coming back inside. The owner replied quickly to give us a solution. I know getting help is difficult now, but charging us extra money to clean for a (six hour) early arrival that was not done, is not right. So sadly at this time I can not recommend this property until a new cleaning company is hired and some maintenance is done.

Hello Sheree. I appreciate your feedback, as we want to be aware of any and all issues with the property. As mentioned to you in private when you notified me of the cleaning issues you were having, I wish I had known much sooner that you were unhappy, as I would have sent someone over immediately to address your concerns. I find it unfair that we were notified THE DAY BEFORE your departure, even though you were at the property for nearly a week prior. That wasn’t enough time for us to address your concerns, as I mentioned we live out of state. But regardless, due to the fact you were unhappy, I refunded your $150 cleaning fee w/out being asked. As for the additional fee, that was mainly charged for early arrival, which you utilized, therefor I do not feel should not be refunded. As for the automated lock, the battery was low and has since been replaced. We have an appointment scheduled for someone to take a look at the dryer next week. Again, Thank you for all of this info. We take great pride and care of our vacation home, as several other guests have recognized. My apologies that you are unhappy. Best wishes. Take care. -Peter & Amy

Fabulous property!!

We looked what seemed to be endless for a nice property to spend a month at in southwest Florida. We came across this listing and it really looked wonderful! And when we arrived it did not disappoint! The pictures were accurate and everything was so clean and up to date! The house is laid out great for a large group of family and friends! We entertained out on the back patio and watched football playoffs. Bicycles, sand toys and chairs ... anything you could want! There is s as nice bar area out by the pool which is clear and beautiful! It's the coldest it's been in Florida in years so we weren't able to use it as it wasn't heated. But I'm told that the owners are going to have it heated soon. But you are so close to the beach it wasn't really a big deal. To sum it up, this property is all it was described to be and more! Amy and Pete are wonderful hosts and we will be coming again! Highly recommend

Great house, great location

We had such a wonderful stay at this house. The location was perfect, being close to both where my parents live and the beach, situated in a quiet neighborhood. The house had clearly been updated recently, as everything appeared modern and in great condition. There was more than enough space for me and my husband, as well as my parents who came to swim, hang out, and eat dinner. The house seems spacious enough for either 2 couples or a family with a few children. The outdoor space was fantastic---great pool and multiple seating areas in the screened in lanai (a must in buggy Florida). We were happy to see several bikes in the garage, but did not use them during our stay. Only tip we have for future guests is to know that the only coffee maker is a Keurig, so you will need to buy K-cups if none are left from prior guests; this may have been mentioned in the house description, but if so I missed it. Overall, this was a fabulous stay and a great value for the quality of the house, location, amenities, and amount of space. I hope this house will be available the next time we visit my parents!

Urlaub wie zu Hause

Wir sind eine Gruppe von sieben Personen und haben zehn Tage in diesem Haus verbracht. Wir haben uns in diesem Haus von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt. Mit jedem Tag fühlte man sich immer mehr, als wäre man zu Hause. Es fehlt an nichts in diesem Haus. Die Beschreibung des Hauses ist deutlich untertrieben. Zum Beispiel wird die Ausstattung in der Garage fast gar nicht erwähnt. Dort gibt es alles, was man für den Strand braucht, Spielzeug, Kühlbox, Stühle,… Es gibt in der Garage mehrere Fahrräder und weitere Sportgeräte. Eine kleine Werkbank, wenn mal etwas repariert werden muss. Das Haus ist sauber, der Pool ist sauber und warm, Das Haus wird regelmäßig gepflegt, das Fernsehangebot ist übertrieben groß usw. Alle Betten waren sehr bequem, Zimmer waren geräumig, Bäder großzügig, alles klimatisiert. Man merkt sofort, dass dieses Haus mit sehr viel Herz und Liebe gepflegt und in Stand gehalten wird. Kein Haus von einer anonymen Agentur, sondern von Eigentümern. Wenn man in dieser Umgebung Urlaub machen will, können wir dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

This property was great

Hosts was very responsive. Property was clean and great for hanging out at the house. The outside screened in area is large with lots of seating. The house was great for our large group. Highly recommend it.

Summertime in Englewood

It was a great property. We had 4 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of space for all of us. The outdoor space offered a great combination of coverage. There was a covered porch that opened into the pool area, all of which was screened in. So, when the afternoon rains came, you could stay dry but remain outside.

Great Home! Nice neighborhood and close to beaches!

Our family loved this property!! Amy and Pete were always quick to respond and so nice to work with! Their home was beautiful and clean. It was perfect for our family of five with three boys ages 10 and under. My in-laws stayed with us for a few days as well, and the house was plenty big for all of us! The house had everything we needed and more, and the king bed was super comfortable! We especially loved the outdoor pool and bar area!! It was so nice to have all the beach equipment as well. They had beach chairs, boogy boards, umbrellas, sand toys, and shark teeth sifters!! We loved our stay and we really hope to stay here again in the future! Thank you again Pete and Amy! ☺️

Beautiful Home

It was very nice, clean and comfortable. Wish the pool was warmer but did sit with our feet in it. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Would love to stay again!

Great place!

This house has everything you need and more! The kitchen was well equipped to cook meals and we enjoyed eating them in the screened in outdoor area. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean beautiful Home!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Peter and Amy’s home. The place is well stocked with everything you will need. Bikes, beach chairs and toys are a pleasant surprise. All decors provide a very positive and happy vibe. The pool is well maintained and clean. Our family had great time and created wonderful memories! We will definitely come back!

Great house

The house was very nice and spacious. The house appears to be newly updated. The large patio and pool area was very nice and relaxing. I wish we could have stayed and used the house longer.
