What began as a fixer-upper quickly became a labor of love - and today, The Cottage at Poplar Cove is one of our favorite places to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Owasco Lake.

From lazy summer days on the water to cozy fall weekends by the fire pit, we’ve made countless memories here as a family - and we’re excited to share the space with other families, couples, and travelers looking for that same experience. Whether you’re here for lakefront fun, wine tasting, hiking, or simply quiet time away from it all, we hope this place becomes just as special to you as it is to us.

We live about 20 minutes away, but visit the lake as often as we can. While we’re not local full-time, we have a dedicated and trusted team in the area to help ensure everything is just right for your stay.

We’re also Superhosts on multiple platforms and take pride in creating warm, welcoming, and consistently 5-star guest experiences. Clean spaces, thoughtful touches, and great communication are always part of the stay -and we’re happy to share reviews or answer questions before you book.

Inside, the home is warm and thoughtfully designed. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, lake views, smart TV, large closet, luggage rack, and wireless phone chargers. The upstairs bedroom offers a queen and full bed, while the loft area includes a twin-over-twin trundle, smart TV, and games - a perfect kid hangout zone.

Panoramic windows in the main living area mean the lake is always in view, rain or shine. A portable AC unit upstairs and ceiling fans help keep things comfortable in warmer weather.
