The home was absolutely gorgeous, very clean, and clearly very well cared for. It was obvious that a lot of thought went into creating such a comfortable and inviting space.Since the property does not have air conditioning, we needed to sleep with the windows open during our warm August stay. Even with the windows open, the lack of airflow made it difficult to sleep comfortably and we didn’t realize how much highway noise there would be early in the morning, so unfortunately, once traffic picked up, it made it a little difficult to sleep at all. We were also really looking forward to enjoying the pool table, as that was one of the amenities that attracted us to the property. Unfortunately, the pool table was not usable during our stay.Aside from those things, we truly enjoyed the property and thought it was a beautiful place to stay. The cleanliness, peaceful setting, and overall beauty of the home were wonderful.

Hi Todd, thank you for your review! Sorry you missed the details in my listing that AC isn't one of our listed amenities. This year has been a weird summer month, but we usually get a nice breeze. Todd also requested a late check-out, which we accommodated. He reported an issue with the pool table, which we addressed right away, and we replaced it. Todd was given some credit too for the inconvenience and is asking for more. We do our best to provide our guests with the best experience, but things can break unexpectedly. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to host you!

Amazing cabin/Location

Very amazing cabin first time to big bear owner great communication alot of snow many activities to do quick weekend out amazing star wars collection that looks real never seen that in my life felt like i was in a museum recommend this cabin for your next stay perfect getaway neighbors helped out when i got stuck in the snow very nice friendly neighborhood highly recommend

Great family cabin !!!

The property and amenities were wonderful ! The pictures listed do not do the property justice at all. Neighbors were great, location is close to everything, and the cabin's layout was perfect for our family summer getaway. Looking forward to heading up again in the snow. Thank you!!!

Great Place to Stay

Great place for our family of 10 to stay! Considering there was only one full bathroom we all managed to get ready daily without any issues. Used the grill to cook carne asada one night. Would rent again, but maybe during the winter only since we were not to thrilled with the lack of lake space to hang out during the summer.

Wonderful cabin

This is our second stay here. Last time we stayed 2 nights this time we stayed 4. It was so much more enjoyable with the longer stay. We took the teenagers to Alpine Slide and the village. Had a great time in evening playing games and Uno. I highly recommend staying here. The host is wonderful. We stayed with 8 of us very comfortable.

We stayed at this amazing cabin and had a wonderful time. There were a few minor issues, but none of them were the owner’s fault they were related to the housekeeping management. We couldn’t locate the bath towels at first, but after reaching out to the owner, she responded right away, apologized for the miscommunication, and helped us get everything sorted. The towels were quickly found, and any other questions we had were answered immediately. The cabin itself was very spacious, extremely clean, and the beds were comfortable and cozy. We would have loved a few more kitchen items like a larger cutting board and some different-sized mixing bowls but we made it work with what was provided. The game room was a huge highlight! Our family had such a great time with all the games available inside the cabin. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

Big cabin great for families with kids

The host was very informative and always answered any questions quickly. The house was amazing! 3 bedrooms, the loft with 3 beds is great for all the kids with books, board games and toys to keep them entertained. The living area is open and big with a large table for entertaining and the kitchen had all the basic cooking needs and utensils even fresh coffee beans and a grinder. Our favorite part was the Star Wars themed basement along with the gameroom and this gameroom has enough to keep the adults and kids entertained from pool table, ping ping, skeeball, basketball, cornhole and more! Outside is a swing and a BBQ grill with seating for outdoor entertainment when the weather is nice. We will for sure be back with Family and Friends.

Very homey and pretty cabin!

We really enjoyed this cabin and some of its features, like the game room and the top floor with games and bunk bends for the kids , thats the main reason we chose this cabin. We liked that there were plenty of stores nearby and the backyard was nice place for the kids to play too ;however it does has a few inconveniences like the Darth Maul statue , it was very scaring for our kids and wouldn’t go downstairs to the game room because of it . The light in the main bathroom its quite dull and we couldn’t get the AC thermostat on. We would’ve love to be able to use the jacuzzi but unfortunately it was not ready . Overall we really enjoyed this cabin, it was very clean and had everything we needed , its very homey and beautiful.

While I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay because it was really a nice, clean, beautiful, cozy, spacious and tons of amenities cabin but I'm sorry that you gave us 4 star rating because you missed looking at the details of the listing upon booking our place. Just to address the inconveniences you mentioned during your stay, one is regarding AC; our listing doesn't list that as one of our amenities as we don't have central AC in our cabin, secondly, you mentioned about the hot tub. This is the upgrade we are working on for future guests the reason why it wasn't advertised yet as well when you booked our place and you were given personal message regarding it for safety of everyone as we are waiting for inspection and installation. Lastly, regarding Darth Maul: our cabin is Star Wars themed and it's all over our listing specifically in description and photos. There was no mention of any inconveniences or issues from you during your stay when I was communicating the whole time with you checking in and just making sure everything is okay only to my surprise I was given such review. If you would've brought things up to my attention I would've been able to advise you that you actually have an option to cover our Life Size Star Wars figure in our bonus room. I'm sorry if you feel inconvenienced but reading details of the property and listing next time would probably help you for future reference. Thank you for your time reviewing our place!

Clean, Comfortable and Cozy

We had a excellent time with the family and it was special for our 17th wedding anniversary. The host Ehlen was outstanding on answering any questions we had. When the internet wasn’t working she even called to check up. We will definitely stay here again. The two teenagers had so much fun down in the Star Wars game home. The pool table needs some maintenance as several cushions are worn out. Great job to our fabulous host.❤️

Awesome Cabin Getaway

This is an Amazing & Relaxing cabin. If we can give it 10 stars we would. 5 for the Cabin experience and 5 for the great hosts that communicated with us throughout our stay. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay as it was advertised, whether you want to stay in throughout your stay or take the 15 min drive into town. The Star Wars room leading into the game room is remarkable. Can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay and we will definitely book another stay.

Great Family Friendly Cabin in Big Bear

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It's about 15 min from the center of town in a nice, quite neighborhood. Our kids loved the family friendly garage with a pool table, ping pong and even an NBA Jam arcade game. Lots of work has been put into making this place a cozy home to stay in. Everything you need is there. If we make it back to Big Bear this location will be at the top of our list.
