Enjoy southern charm in Montgomery's historic Cloverdale and Garden Districts. This restored 1930's home with original details sat on a pecan farm in one of the city's most beautiful neighborhoods! Only 5 min to downtown and 15 to east side shopping; easy walking access to Cloverdale's business and art strips and multiple iconic churches and streets. Our restored home with original details is currently configured as two private listings with separate entrances and parking.
Great location, very clean and easy to find. Was great for our two night stay in Montgomery
We were just staying for a couple of nights get away. The host was very responsive to our questions and the checkin was very easy. Would stay here again.
The house was just as advertised and the host made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit our friends in Montgomery.
My Austrian friends and I felt so at home here. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, easy parking, and interesting artwork. Viktoria, our host, always responded quickly and was quite helpful. I would stay here again. Note: I appreciated that each bedroom had a dedicated bathroom. The only thing guests might want to know is that whoever chooses the front bedroom has to walk through the back bedroom to get to the kitchen.
Rental was easy. Property was as advertised. Beautiful area of Montgomery right in the heart of where we needed to be. Old house with lots of charm and plenty of space for us to wind down after our daily activities. Highly recommend.
The listing shows a whole house but you only get 2 bedrooms and baths with a kitchen as a common area Like really I asked for a portion of my money back and now no response Worse experience since Iâve used Vrbo
Itâs a split property as advertised. There is no washer/dryer on site. The plumbing is old (as listed on couple placards in the bathrooms on arrival). The water pressure in the shower is very low and the water accumulates in the tub but eventually drains. The central AC was decent, but the room in the front of the house could use a pedestal fan. Totally unrelated with the house itself - a neighborhood dog barked nonstop at night. All that said, the home is clean and it was adequate for our travels.
Our stay was to visit another couple and the living area was not conducive to that. It contained a rather saggy sofa and two straight back chairs. If one was staying with friends, the two bedrooms are connected with bath between so the people in the second room would need to walk through the first one to get to the living area. It is in an older attractive area.
Joshâs property was thee best place to serve as our home base for homecoming! We were close to Alabama Stateâs campus, Old Cloverdale and downtown. The property is full of charm and great spaces to create memories!
Beautifully decorated, very clean, peaceful place and lovely backyard. Specious kitchen rooms and just lovely, lots of charm.
I hope to return with my family soon!
Josh is an exceptional host. Always responsive to questions and kind.
