Lovely house in a good neighborhood. Getting into and around Paris was remarkably easy. The house is lovely and cosy. The books and posters make you feel like a guest in your coolest friend's house.
Host was great. Communication great. neighborhood was quiet. 10 minute walking distance to several wonderful places to have breakfast, or a night cap. The listing claims the house is air conditioned however there was one portable unit that didnât work even if it did there was no way to vent the exhaust out of the house so it would have been of no use anyway. We had 2 uncomfortable nights due to this. Also it claims that there is onsite parking. There is no onsite parking you may be able to park on the street however that cost 30 for 3 hours. There is a parking garage used thatâs about a 15 minute walk that cost 15.40 a day. The back door would not lock leaving us feeling a bit unsafe. Two bedrooms are in a renovated attic that has very low ceilings. Myself and my brother in law had to stay hunched over the entire time. (Weâre both 5â7â) and hit our heads many times on the ceilings and doorways upstairs. the shower up stairs is so low the best I could get was the water hitting me in the chest. One of the beds upstairs is situated in such a position under the gable and behind a wall itâs completely unusable. The âfourth bedroomâ is at best a hallway between stair cases with a crib shoved in the corner. Over all it was overpriced considering there were other options that had the same no AC and no onsite parking for much less money actually in Paris. Had the listing been truthful with better photos we would have stayed elsewhere.
