We certainly enjoyed our brief visit to Ipswich. We loved the quaint town and the house was perfected located to everything we wanted to do and see. The house was clean and comfortable.
We loved our stay! Great locationânext door to a top rated restaurant (was unfortunately closed while we were there), and close to Crane Beach. Quick drive to so many other nearby towns. Very clean and spacious.
Beautiful house in convenient location for our yearly girls trip! We had a wonderful time and everything we needed was provided.Enjoyed attractions nearby including Wolf Hollow, Russell Farms, and Crane Estate. Lunch at Heart and Soul was delicious! Day trip to Salem was a quick and easy drive. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
Holly House is a very clean, comfortable and convenient property! Denise thought of every detail down to automatic night lights, house slippers and child gate for safety. Bethany had the house spotless upon our arrival and the accommodations were spacious. Thank you for a wonderful visitâŠwe are sure to return and recommend to others!
My kids and I stayed for two nights in February from Washington state. Was cold and snowy/icy and the apartment was warm, cozy and inviting. Steps were salted every day.Would definitely stay next time we come back to the area
So many thoughtful details. Extremely comfortable beds, quality linens, responsive hosts, proximity to beaches, surrounding quaint towns, local, restaurants, and the train to explore even more. We had a great time with Holly House 2 as our home base. For sure will return to this spot!
We were attending a family event in Ipswich and needed a place to stay. The condo offered a great location and all the comforts of home. The condo is close to town, the beach and the locals are very friendly.
We loved this property. It had all we needed for our stay on the North Shore. We loved how everything was set up for our stay. Our kids enjoyed playing the board games in between outings. We enjoyed Russel Orchards and Appleton Farms and loved our time in Ipswich. Great gratitude for such a lovely stay.
Holly House was a beautiful home. It is clean and located in a convenient location, yet out of the way from the town hustle and bustle. We had a wonderful mother/daughter trip visiting a friend, touring the areas of Boston and Salem, as well as learning more about Ipswich and its history.
Our stay was wonderful. The property was very welcoming and clean. It was close to everything in town which was wonderful. We truly felt at home and would definitely stay here again. The communication with the property manager was easy and she was very prompt. We have no complaints!!
Ipswich is a town with good folk. The VRBO was an easy walk to a friendly New England village. From the brewery to the restaurants it was a great place to unwind and feel like a local.
This may be the most immaculate and well-maintained VRBO I've ever stayed in! It had everything we needed, in a bright, airy apartment, close to the walks and beaches, with lots of restaurants a short drive away. We were able to cook full meals in the kitchen, and enjoyed the comfy spaces for hanging out on our friends-cation. I would definitely recommend the Holly House!
We found Denise's property to be charming, immaculate, light filled, well equipped and convenient. We could walk downtown and easily access the surrounding towns and beaches by car. We loved being next door to the 1640 House and its wonderful restaurant. It was just two of us but there is plenty of room for four. We would definitely rebook should we return to the area.
The property was very clean and in order as per our expectation. In addition the owner needed our comment directly. As per our request she added additional instrument and service during our stay. She was very efficient and she is proud of her property.
Great location for us to explore the area between Newburyport and Manchester. It was a very basic apartment. No dishwasher. I should have noticed that in the description. The issue for us were the mattresses. Very low quality and not comfortable. Even my 14 year old complained and she never complains.
The apartment was adorably decorated and immaculately clean on our arrival. The host reached out to us to be sure our check in was smooth, which it was. On our departure day it snowed and someone had already shoveled and salted the walkways and stairs before we left at 8am. The only downside was the radiator heat in the bedrooms when you shut the doors - we either had to sleep with the door open or with a window open and door shut. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay for the weekend. Would recommend to a friend.
My husband and I purchased this beautiful Victorian 2 family home in Ipswich in 2019. We have been residents of Ipswich for more than 28 years! In fact, you will be right around the corner from our neighborhood when you go to Marini Farm for fresh produce and baked goods. We are very involved in our community with my Windhill Real Estate business and my husband, Nishan, having been a town selectman for the past several years. We are often nearby should you need anything. We are not new to the vacation rental business-we have another Premier Partner listing on Great Neck, Ipswich. You can check out our ratings on VRBO as a premier partner by search property # 763198 .
We immediately fell in love with the lovely gardens, convenient location and historic charm of this 1880 Victorian home. It reminded us of some of the New England Bed and Breakfasts one might see along the coast.
Our hope is to bring guests the charm of a Bed and Breakfast but with the space of a full dwelling including a fully equipped kitchen! Why share a bathroom with other guests and be confined to one bedroom while visiting the area when you can have the B & B charm WITH the privacy and space of a full apartment?
