This 4 bedroom property is situated on South Padre Island, TX on the Bayfront. Great vacation home sleeps 14 guests between a combination of 5 beds and 2 sofabeds. This is a 3 story high property with a BIG spacious deck as well as balconies on 2nd and 3rd floor for great views with beautiful sunsets. Home Office available on 3rd floor bedroom to be able to work while on vacation. Enjoy the fireworks every Saturday night by Clayton's from the 2nd-floor deck. Property is located near all the entertainment and restaurants on the island.
*Must be 21 or older to rent.*
**No Pets allowed unless Pet Fee is paid**
**Boat Lift & Dock Available upon prior request**
**Elevator available for use at an additional fee upon request**

Property needs to be better kept. Living room down stairs couch is broken and upon reviewing older reviews it’s been broken for a year and not replaced. Dining chairs in kitchen also need to be replaced because there is no cushion left and only feel metal springs in butt when you sit. One bathroom only had one shower door when it should have two. 1/2 bath toilet was broken upon arrival with no prior warning. Location was great and rooms are great sizes with attached bathrooms.

The elevator was a life saver for my 90 grandparents! The property hosts were very responsive and super helpful! I do wish there was more seating furniture in the master bedroom and patios but the pictures didn’t show any additional furniture so I was not expecting any additional furniture. Overall great house and location!

Good stay overall for the price

Great location, overall clean. However, the bed situation is not really what we expected. The two couch beds were really old and uncomfortable and the one downstairs isn’t really in sleeping condition. Sleeping 12 adults was a stretch for us, I couldn’t imagine having 14 in the house. A few roaches in the kitchen area. Everything else was great.

Very nice property

Very nice property and pictures on website are accurate. A few minor adjustments/ repairs and it would definitely be 5 star. Great fishing right out back on the deck/ dock. Catfish lovers dream. Would rent again.

Family Vacation 2022

We had a great time. We got there early and the property manager let us check in early. She has been very easy to work with as well. The condo was everything expected and then some. Beautiful, roomy and clean. This property was perfect, there was plenty of room for everyone to go have private space and then the bottom floor was great for everyone to hang out together. The deck was perfect for hanging out and fishing. We loved every part of our vacation but the condo made it extra special.

Great vacation home, but could use some tweaks to make it fabulous

Beautiful and spacious house to comfortably support two families on Spring Break. Fantastic views of bay. Responsiveness of property manager eased the transition of minor checkin issues such as smoke alarm chirping and figuring out rasiing the windows hurricane shutters. Other minor issues were ice maker(s) were not functional, limited availability of showers, paper towels, no detergent and shower heads were not fully unclogged probably from pipe buildup. For the overall amount of the house, an on-site kayak would have been nice, and some fishing rod holders. These elements would have elevated this vacation from a very good vacation into an unforgettable one.

Very Disappointed

I rent many high end homes every year, all along the Gulf of Mexico. This was the first time I have been very disappointed in the cleanliness, lack of essential kitchen items and number of broken items. The whole point in renting a home is so that I can cook the meals, rather than going out to eat all of the time. The kitchen in this house doesn't even have the basic items to cook a meal. I had to got to Walmart and spend over $300 on kitchen essentials so that I could make dinner. I'm talking about items like pot holders, baking dishes, dish towels, measuring spoons and cups, liquid measure, bathroom hand towels, serving spoons, just to name a few. Broken items 1. Gate to dock, unsafe for children and dogs 2. Lock on back sliding door completely missing 3. Ice makers don’t work (both stand alone and refrigerator) 4. No code given for left garage door. 5. The push button in the garage does not work for the right hand door. 6. The only interior dining chairs are so worn out you sit right on wood frame. 7. The couch is dirty, worn out and sags in the middle. 8. The 2nd floor drier does not work. Unacceptable items: 1. The rug on the 1st floor is old, filthy and curled up on the edges, making it a trip hazard 2. The floors were filthy 3. There were cockroaches everywhere, even in the kitchen drawers. 4. The sheets have lost their elasticity and come loose all night 5. There's no chairs or in the upper rooms or decks to sit and watch the sunset or read a book.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE OWNERS!!!!!

This is my first negative review in over 20 stays with VRBO. This place was filthy and dilapidated. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, garbage in the kitchen trash cans, unknown substances streaking down the appliances, floors that had not been swept in who knows how long, a filthy refrigerator with opened food and freezer full of opened ice cream, waffles, etc, all during COVID! Dirty bathrooms with sticky stuff and hair on the counters, BUG STAINED window treatments, random stains on the floors, someone’s random stuff on the fish cleaning table that looked like it had been there for months, and the list goes on and on. Honestly, the place needs a crew of people to take a day to deep clean this place. Upon further inspection of this “LUXURY PROPERTY”, we found no toilet paper holders, pulls on bathroom cabinets removed, broken drain in one bathroom sink, no bedside lamps or clocks, no hairdryers, etc. There was one frying pan and no other cookware such as pots, pans, cookie sheets. 4 total plastic plates! Seriously. 6 plastic cups. This is a place that is advertised as being able to accommodate 14 guests IN LUXURY!!!! NO ICE source in the house as the fridge ice maker was broken as was the free standing ice maker. Two fire alarms with dead batteries on counters. We called the manager, Ayleen, sent pictures, and the owner was contacted. We asked to be relocated but there was nothing available as this manager only manages 3 properties including ours and is basically not a professional as she responded to the lack of plates as “our guests use paper plates”. Even more interesting is that the owner admitted to being in the house a few hours before our arrival and admitted she noticed the dirty dishes, garbage, refrigerator condition, and 4 plates, and left without solving these issues. The owner sent over the same person that supposedly “cleaned” the place before our arrival. She spent an hour and a half and managed next to nothing in relation to what the place needed. We were left with no other options. Most importantly, THE OWNERS AGREED TO REDUCE THE RENTAL FEE IN HALF for all of these issues. UPON OUR DEPARTURE, they totally reneged on their agreement in a dishonest manner and said they would only refund the cleaning fee! Laughable. Hopefully this review will warn others. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Unfortunately, it's so sad to see a grown man come up with so many lies. Only because he wanted to pay 200 x night at this home. We should have known better when we received his 1st message to us below. This is not lies on our end as all we did was Copy & Paste his message. 10/18/2021, 8:28 PM - We’re having trouble with our budget. The quote for the property is $4966.50. Can you possibly do it for $4000? We can book it tonight. We didn't give in to his request at the time and he still booked, then found 1,000 things wrong with the home when they arrived to get us to charge him 1/2. The dishes were clean, but his wife decided to place them in the dishwasher herself and complain. The refrigerator had closed BEER as previous guests can vouch as we leave courtesy beer in it, which his wife drank without complaining during COVID! Wife's grandchildren pulled out the fire alarms from the kitchen drawer and placed them on the counter and so on with all his listed lies. We have never had a guest at any of our properties complain like this man who was offered to leave with a full refund but decided to stay. If the property was truly filthy and dilapidated you can rest assured anyone would have taken the refund and left, but he didn't. We would gladly tour anyone wanting to stay prior to so you can personally inspect the property and see if it meets your needs. As what you see in pictures is what you will get. You can't expect "LUXURY" like he calls it, and be cheap about it. Most VRBO owners are private owners who post their hard-earned homes, and the fact that this owner has 3 is a big accomplishment if you ask me. Next time go through a Property Managing company that might have multiple homes to accommodate you or a HOTEL/MOTEL instead so you can pay your 200 x night.
