Belle réservation à Lakeview

TrÚs belle et grande maison, bien décorée, bien équipée en électro ménagé, pour des français juste prevoir verres à Champagne et à vin, petite terrasse appréciée. Le débarras derriÚre la laverie méritera un rangement.

Overall stay was very nice. Host apparently lives down stairs. I ran into him in front yard and he asked if everything was ok. The location is perfect. I had no problem finding street parking in front of the home. Washer and dryer are in kitchen. They were very loud so I tried to only use them during daytime hours. There were some cosmetic things that could use some touch ups but overall great stay!

Multiple privacy breaches. Host harassed me. Filed multiple complaints which have yet to be resolved. I would never in a million years recommend anyone stay at this property if they value their safety.

Perfect!

Stayed at Ronell's place for a 8 night business trip with my spouse. Convenient to everything needed for a short rental. Coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store all walking distance. Othe reviews stated parking was a issue. It was NOT for me all week. Once or twice had to park maybe 2 houses down but a short walk is good for the soul. The washer and dryer are working and located in the unit.Owner is improving the rental with landscaping and upgrades. Furniture is new and beds are comfortable. Ronell will also provide you with great places to eat and sights to see.This is my new place to stay in NOLA!

We had a great stay at Ronnel’s property. He was quick to respond to all communication. The house was clean and had all amenities our family needed. Great location in the heart of Lakeview. Water pressure in the shower was amazing!

Excellent 2 weeks!

Impeccably clean, well-maintained, pleasant apartment with good light, large, equipped kitchen & great a/c. Nice, responsive owner. Very nice area w/great grocery store - including good hot food buffet just 3 blocks away. Bus stop at corner for 1.25 one hour ride to Jazz Fest fairgrounds or bit longer to French Quarter. Great Location

The pictures match with the apartment! Ronell sent us such helpful information about the city. We loved the neighborhood; we felt super safe to walk around. We definitely would stay in this place again.

We Would Not Stay Here Again

Looks great on paper, but not what it appears.Access was an issue for us too. Took an hour or so to get the call with the code. While at the front door, I noticed old trash near entrance that was never removed. These were things we were willing to work around. We went up to get settled. Then, that night, my daughter found dirty bath towel, containing fresh poop mark. No W/D. Washing machine and dryer are on sight, but NOT hooked up. No hand towels provided in bathroom. On our second morning, we were asked to be quieter - Ronnel forwarded an ugly text from renters who unknowingly moved in beneath us. We were in by 10 each night. But, you have to climb wooden stairs to access the unit. I don't think that situation was explained to either of us properly. We became very aware of any sound we made. The unit had a door or two that stuck and a squeaky faucet at the kitchen sink. Those things weren't that noticeable until we were told we were loud. Every sound became noticeable, we didn't even want to talk to each other. We were unable to get comfortable there. Then we found unaddressed, quarter-sized, blood stain on the underside of our bed comforter on our third morning. We left that day - a day early. It has all the makings of a great place, but is poorly managed. Super host status is not accurate. If you have another option, I'd try that instead. If you opt to stay here, Bring your own towels, and pillow cases and know there is not a working W/D at this location.

Exceptional Experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The host was very friendly and responded quickly. The unit was lovely- clean, comfortable, and furnished with everything we could want. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants and stores, including a great neighborhood market, all within easy walking distance. And the rest of New Orleans is a short drive. We highly recommend this wonderful place. We’ll definitely stay again.

Birthday trip to New Orleans, LA

My mom, sister and & I booked this apartment for a birthday trip & we weren't disappointed. The flat was clean, spacious, modern, everything you'd want on vacation. We were ecstatic. The owner we dealt with (Ronell) was friendly, and communication was excellent (via Vrbo messages) Only a 15 min drive from Bourbon ST, restaurants galore, bars across the Rd, it’s ideally situated. We will definitely be visiting again!

Excellent property, but...

The property itself was exactly as listed. The place was clean, spacious, safe neighborhood with lots of good places within walking distances, short Uber rides to CBD and French Quarter. If this review was just about the property, would recommend without hesitation. However, i had to deduct a star for the check in process. Check in was after 3:00 PM. The host messaged me asking when we would arrive, and I replied that we would be there between 6:00 and 7:00 PM. We arrived at 6:30 PM and tried to access the property using the provided instructions. We couldn't access the property, so we did the backup instructions provided. When Ronell answered the door, he said that we had arrived 30 minutes early, so we would need to wait 15 minutes while he got it ready. I told him that we were not early, actually we were right in the middle of the 6 and 7 interval i had given him. Regardless, we had to stand around for closer to 25 minutes before he let us enter the property. People make mistakes, that's no big deal, but i was already irritated and disappointed that he tried to blame the delay on us, because we got there before 7. He tried some other, somewhat shady methods of making himself look good while still blaming us by assigning a bogus fee, then generously waiving it, until I reminded him that 3:00 was check-in time, we were not early, and his made up fee was bogus. The rest of the stay was pleasant, and we only had limited interactions with him in the remaining time.

Fun in New Orleans

We had a great stay at this property!! The location was great and the condo was very clean. We had great communication with the owner and had everything we needed. The only suggestion would be to allow more of a range on the AC temp. Otherwise a great stay and would highly recommend!!!

Safe stay for family with children

The property was within a quiet family-oriented neighborhood & a safe walking distance to several coffee shops, parks, restaurants, ice cream, hot yoga, Walgreens & grocery. Quiet and safe. Took a few short strolls to get coffee and back with the kids. A great location just a 20 minute drive to French Quarter/ tourist area.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location

We enjoyed our stay in the Lakeview neighborhood of New Orleans. In an upscale area, there were great restaurants and a full-service grocery store within walking distance away. Just a short drive to the north is Lake Pontchartrain with great restaurants as well. The French Quarter is minutes away by car. One day we drove a couple of miles and parked our car so we could take the streetcar to town. It was a great way to see the sights on the trip to town and eliminated the sometimes costly parking in the Quarter. The home is decorated beautifully, the beds comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with the basic cooking needs (even though we mainly ate out with the abundant choices nearby).

Perfect New Orleans Experience

Amazing location, walkable to everything you could need, plus a well appointed unit with everything you need. Lakeview is the perfect location for both staying in and getting to all the NOLA Hotspots for a great vacation. Ronell is an excellent host with a great property. We have already sent this listing to a friend for spring break and we will definitely be booking for future trips!

Great spot in a beautiful neighborhood

This was a very clean and comfortable apartment. Pictures are extremely accurate. There was plenty of room for us. Ronell was extremely friendly and such a great host. The neighborhood was beautiful and everything we needed was in walking distance, including great restaurants, a grocery store etc. and city park is so close! Would definitely stay here again and can't recommend enough

Comfortably safe

The host was AMAZING and very responsive. His place is definitely in an area that is safe. As a female I would’ve felt ok to go for a walk at night in the neighborhood. Quiet neighborhood with little shops close by. The place had all the amenities one would need and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the host is. I will definitely book this location again if ever back in the area. If it’s not available then I’ll rearrange my plans.

Felt like home.

Clean, well designed, home like feeling, and amazing communication from the property owner. The property is located in a great location. Yes parking is on the street but I never had an issue. The area is quite but right near a grocery and tons of places to eat. I hope to have the need to come back and stay again.
