Our spacious home is pet friendly with a fenced-in yard. This house has 2 bedrooms that sleep 4 guests with 2 bathrooms and a large deck, perfect for early morning coffee soaking in beautiful sunrises or evening cocktails enjoying amazing sunsets over the gulf. Sink your toes into the stunning white sands of the emerald Forgotten Coast of Cape San Blas, only a 7-minute walk and a 4-minute walk to the bay. It’s a really nice house and was very clean. Golf cart was a great addition to the experience going back and forth to the beach. Like the location for we used the boat launch at the state park. Quiet neighborhood also . We saw 2 big bucks wandering around the yards 3 times this week . Would definitely stay again.

Cape San Blas treasure!!!

The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Open floor plan with bedrooms on opposing sides of the house. Screened in porch in the middle with open decks on either side. Smart tvs with Roku in every room. Great location on the west end of the cape with the restaurant Long Bills a rock throw away. Owners were extremely hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. Great stay and money well spent.

Cape San Blas Vacation

Great location situated between the gulf and bay with easy access to both. Enjoyed the kayaks and golf cart available for use. House was as described with a relaxing screened in porch!

Port St. Joe vacation

Had a great stay in Port St. Joe with my husband and dog. Clean house with golf cart, easy access to the beach, and very responsive hosts. Would come again!

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway!

Property was exactly as advertised!! Perfect location and with use of the golf cart it made our trips to and from the beach much more enjoyable! Check in was simple and stay was great we will definitely keep this place on our favorites for future trips!

Great October beach stay!

We had originally booked an October trip to Siesta Key but had to quickly look for a different option due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We were not disappointed with our choice to book with Andy and Travis in Cape San Blas! The house was perfect. Close to the beach, and the golf cart made our beach days so easy. The house was clean and well-appointed. We would definitely book here again!

Perfect Beach House

Great stay! Beach access was only a short walk away but we also used the golf cart to get there too. Loved the house and appreciated the communication from the owners during the hurricane! House was clean and exactly what was described. Definitely recommend.

Great week on the Cape

We really enjoyed our stay. It was our first vacation with our 2yr old dog and we couldn't have asked for a better property. Knowing that the house is dog friendly I was actually really surprised by the cleanliness of it. I expected normal bits of dog hair here and there from previous stays but the place was really clean. The golf cart to get supplies to and from the beach was huge plus. The two restaurants, Longbills and Coneheads, are extremely close to the property and both were really good. I had a question about the golf cart so I messaged the host and instead of messaging me back he actually called me and we chatted for a few minutes and he couldn't have been nicer. Overall this place was great and the host's were great. It was our first time on the Cape and we would definitely not hesitate to go back and if we do this will be the first property we check the availability on. Thanks for having us guys!

Family vacation with pet

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunny Paws. The host was very responsive to messages. The location of the property was a perfect distance between the bay and the beach. The option to eat at Long Bills Restaurant next door was very convenient. Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect place and great for pets!

House was perfect! Big rooms and extremely comfortable beds. House had it all, and the fenced in yard was great for our dogs! Short walk/drive to beach and golf cart was great to ride down to the bay. Most importantly the host are great, respond to you within no time at all. They answered all of our questions with no hesitation and very nice. Highly recommend this property! Thanks for having us!!

This was our first visit to Cape San Blas and had a great time staying at Sunny Paws. The house was well stocked and the perfect size for us. The host, Andy, was easy to communicate with. Looking forward to coming back!

The perfect house for a family getaway

The house was clean and super cute. We loved being able to find a place that was dog friendly with a fenced in yard. It wasn’t a bad walk to the beach and taking the golf cart was a huge plus. We couldn’t find the bay access but could’ve been user error. I loved sitting on the deck and reading at night. It was the perfect place for us !

My stay on “The Cape”

I recently vacationed in Cape San Blas, FL. My stay at Sunny Paws was beyond exceptional. I arrived to a spacious rental just minutes from the beach. The property was clean. It was peaceful. And it worth every penny. Andy and Travis have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Over and Above

Cute house decorated beautifully. 25 years of staying in rentals, this house had the most comfortable beds we've had slept on. The Host was very responsive and went over and above our expectations to make our stay excellent. Looking forward to staying again next year.

Nice Home / Update Amenities

Our overall experience with our beach trip was a good one. The house was very clean and roomy for our group of 4 adults. The location on Cape San Blas was also what we were looking for and as advertised. We did have an issue with the amenities advertised. We did not have access to the golf cart as it was being repaired. However, Pioneer Ridge Vacations made good on that with a credit offer from a rental shop on Cape San Blas. Which we appreciated. We were disappointed in the condition of the beach gear that went with the rental. The beach umbrella and canopy were not usable. The umbrella fell apart when we took it out. All of the upper tines were disconnected from the top of the umbella. The canopy also has issues with the arms falling out of the main center post. The plastic on it was broken which kept the arms from staying in place. We had to rent beach gear. The beach chairs and bikes were also very rusted. We had to fix one of the bike handle bars before we could use it. One of the reasons for choosing that house was use of amentities. We all liked the house and location just disappointed in the condition of the amenities. I would suggest that those things are taken a look at monthly or beginning of season to make sure they are usable. If that is done then this would be a 5 star location. If those amenities are not what you need for your trip then this is a great spot. And working with Pioneer Ridge Vacations was very easy to do.

We are Pioneer Ridge Vacations, owned by Andy Vanosdale and Travis Staten, best friends since 1990. We grew up together attending the same schools and college in the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area. The Pioneer Ridge name comes from our grade schools, with the mascot being the Pioneer and the schools located in East Ridge, Tennessee. We are huge fans of the Tennessee Volunteers (Go Vols)! When we get together, you can often find us playing Spades and Phase 10 with our other friends.

This property is spacious and pet friendly. The fully fenced yard is a game changer for guests. The ability to walk next door for a drink and great food at our friends, Long Bills Restaurant, makes for a fun, convenient and relaxing vacation.
