From booking through check-out everything was easy-breezy communicating with property owners. Plenty of details were given to compliment every part of our stay. We'd expected other guests, but for our early June '23 visit, it ended-up just being my husband, MIL, myself, and our dogs.
The property was neat/clean and well-stocked. We are seasoned visitors to vacation homes on the Cape and tend to bring a lot of supplies from home, just in case and to have staples we want at hand. I cannot comment on the beach gear, but the kitchen was well-stocked yet there was still plenty of available cabinet space to put away what we'd brought with us--a touch very much appreciated by our group!
We didn't use the 3rd floor "loft," but could see it being a great space for kids or overnight visitors. Both primary bedrooms have en suite baths, King sized beds, and private decks--perfect for our group. The property would be a great fit for 2 couples with 2 younger children each. The only drawback on beds/baths I'd note is that the en suites are very small, and there's no dedicated bath for the loft, so that's potentially quite a few people sharing such small spaces. On the other hand, kids can always shower outside!
One of the absolute best aspects of this property is location! I think its name was formerly "Close Enough" and we couldn't agree more. It's not gulf front, but you're a very short walk to the sand and Barrier Dunes' beachfront pool--a great spot to retire for sunset.
