Sky High Chalet - Blowing Rock home with hot tub, pool table, bunk room, and fire pit

Sky High Chalet is the perfect place to spend your vacation in the North Carolina Mountains!

This 4-bedroom home is located near App Ski Mountain, right in the heart of the High Country! The property boasts a hot tub, fire pit, game room, and brand new furniture and bedding! There is a king and queen room on the main level, each with a private a/c window unit, that share a full bathroom. There is a futon in the living room for additional sleeping space. Upstairs is the master suite with a king bed, a/c window unit, flat screen TV, and private full bathroom! Downstairs is the bunk room featuring two sets of twin-over-full bunk beds. Also downstairs is a fun game room that offers a pool table, ping-pong table, foosball table and a children's pool table! There is a flat screen TV here, as well.

Step outside onto the back deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air! The deck is furnished with plenty of outdoor seating for the family to gather around. Underneath the deck is a nice size hot tub, big enough for 4-5 people. In the yard there is a nice stone fire pit in the gently sloping yard. Perfect place for fun outdoor activities with the kids!

Additional notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- This property is located at over 4,000 feet in elevation feet and does not have central air conditioning. There are various window units.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- This home is pet friendly, 2 mature well trained dogs allowed. Pet rent is $25 per pet per night.
- Enough parking space for 4-5 vehicles.
- The road leading to this home is paved however AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- There is one exterior security camera facing the driveway.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
