Min to NCSU Crabtree RDU North Hills PATIO Fire Pit LAWN Pets

Step into this oasis in the heart of Raleigh. This beautiful two bedroom, with a luxury bath, fully stocked kitchen will have you relaxed at first sight. This is a walk out basement apartment, completely separate from the main house. You have your own private entry, parking, and amenities.

The long gravel drive leads you to the rear of the house, where you'll find a huge custom brick patio, with four rocking chairs, a fire pit (with extra propane), and a huge outdoor couch to lounge on and watch the wildlife play in the back yard and woods.

Step inside the turquoise door and you'll be greeted with a beautiful brick fireplace, with gas logs, an open floor plan kitchen and den, full sized washer and dryer, and plenty of storage.

The king bedroom sports a walk-in closet with dresser, an adjustable height desk, tv, and is directly off the kitchen.

The bath is large and features a curbless walk in shower with rain head and hand shower, HEATED tile floors, and fluffy towels to wrap up in.

The queen bedroom overlooks the beautiful back yard, another walk in closet, with an iron and ironing board, extra linens, and plenty of hanging space!!

The large grassy area for playing (and watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels) and overlooks the woods, where if you're quiet you'll see the deer, possibly a fox or a raccoon. Hike down the path and guide yourself to the creek at the bottom of the property if you're up for a hike!

Your retreat is conveniently located close to many of the attractions the city has to offer!

Please note the owner lives in the upper level of this home. You may see me or my roommate on the property. We're happy to chat if you see us, or give you privacy. We'd love to have you stay at this beautiful home.

PNC Arena, home to Canes Hockey, NCSU Basketball, concerts, and more - 10min
NCSU - North Carolina State University is a 12 minute drive!
North Hills - a short 10 minute drive to be all of the excitement
Crabtree Valley - A great shopping destination less than 5 minutes away
RDU - international airport is 15 minutes
Downtown Raleigh - Home of the downtown scene, many festivals, shows, and great food
Durham is a short 20 minute ride
Duke University is about a 30 minute drive

Nice place and well equipped

Evan has done a great job making this a very comfortable place to stay. It was extremely clean and stocked with everything we needed. We were in Raleigh to take care of some difficult things after the death of a family member. This place was a clean peaceful sanctuary at the end of the day, and we were grateful for that!!

Easter weekend

Well, we’re just adding to the five star reviews! Evan was super quick anytime we sent a message, so helpful once we arrived, and even was asking for suggestions for how to make the space even more accommodating for our daughter who is in a wheelchair. There’s nothing standard and basic with what Evan put into this Vrbo. The quality of everything from the heated tile floors to the fully stocked Kitchen were very thorough and thoughtful. Perfect backyard for an Easter egg hunt and the fire pit was a nice touch as well!

The best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at!!!

This is a beautiful, well thought out, property in a beautiful area of Raleigh. The location is perfect!! The well established neighborhood is lush and green. Evan is the best host. He was easy going, he checked on us, and fetched with my dog! Yes, this space is dog friendly!! We will definitely be back. My favorite feature

Once again this property did not disappoint. We enjoyed a 4 day weekend in Raleigh with our daughter and her golden. This property will definitely see us again when we are in town. Very clean and nice! Nice neighborhood for walking and close amenities.

Long Healing Weekend

My daughter and I LOVED the property, neighborhood and general area. Even though it was below the hosts living quarters it was quiet and private. The kitchen was very well stocked and the essentials needed for the first evening there were such a personal touch and so appreciated. During the rainy evening the fireplace was so cozy. The beds, pillows and linens made it hard to get up in the morning! We enjoyed it immensely and will definitely be back.

Mini Raleigh Resort

This property is the nicest add on suite to a home we’ve stayed at in a while. The entrance is not the main picture but behind the house at the turquoise door. Great privacy, beautifully rustic, amazing fire place and best of all the bed was super cozy. Awesome host with wonderful hospitality and super close to all the great things in Raleigh. I think it’s the best place for couples quick get away. It’s really a hidden gem in Raleigh!

A great little bungalow!!

Our host was the best! Evan was very attentive and welcoming. The bungalow was beautiful and just perfect for my husband, me, and our big Goldendoodle. Nice secluded neighborhood and every amenity we could possibly want or need!

Amazing find

What a adorable little getaway we had in Evan's basement apartment. SUPER convenient to the mall and many food places. Beds were very comfortable, my 19 yr old slept on the couch and said it was more comfortable than some of the pull-outs we've had. Heated floor in the bathroom was a nice touch! Everything had obviously recently been updated with a well-stocked kitchen! We ate out a lot but could totally see staying for a week and not needing a single kitchen accessory! Patio area was so relaxing and perfect for playing family board games. Evan was a perfect host and quick to respond to any questions we had! We would definitely go back!

Great Stay

Really nice stay. Lots of effort and love went into this property. FULLY FURNISHED! Not just a few utensils and stuff in the kitchen. Had everything and you would need. Normally I bring a few utensils and pans since most don't have good quality or enough variety of pots pans etc. This place blew my mind with all the little extras and good quality of all the extras. More than enough space. If you had to rent this place for a week or longer with your family would work great. More than enough room to spread out, and new and really nice appliances. Plus a good little walk outside and you are in the middle of a cool nature area.

Fantastic Raleigh

This 2-BR apt was just perfect for a visit to Raleigh. My wife and I (and dog) were thrilled with the quality of Evan’s apt. The pictures are great, the experience is even better. Great neighborhood, great location (1/2 mile from Crabtree Valley Mall) and a great host. We stayed 9 nights and we would have happily stayed longer if we could. Raleigh exceeded our expectations and Evan’s apt was a prime reason. Did I mention how comfortable the king bed is?

This property is clean, with a very will stocked kitchen. There are a lot of nice touches!

Evan was an awesome host. He was readily available but gave us space. This recently renovated property has a lot of nice touches including the heated floors in the bathroom! It is very quiet with a wonderful back yard patio and fire pit.

Quiet and Relaxing Stay!

This is the nicest rental I have stayed in so far. It had everything I needed, coffee machines stocked, adjustable height desk, gorgeous bathroom that is as nice as the pictures, and a patio with a view through the woods to watch the sunset. The sunset alone is worth staying for. Evan is a gracious host and responded quickly to all my inquires.

Looking for a great quiet place? Yet right in the middle and super convenient! Look no further.

This is a large home with a full walkout basement. You'll have private access to your section of the house. The other areas are double locked from both sides. There's no access to the rest of the house. You'll have your own parking, entrance, HVAC, grill, patio, and peace and quiet.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Huge wooded lot with a ton of privacy and wildlife. This is in an older established neighborhood, with a lot of character and charm. You can walk (careful it's steep) down to the creek in the back. Great neighborhood for walking.

Fire pit in the backyard, and convenient to everything in RDU.
