La propriété dispose d'un nouveau quai couvert pour bateaux qui est situé dans un
crique. Entouré de bois, c'est l'escapade parfaite. Profitez de l'eau
ski, pêche et tout le cadre magnifique offert par la
beau lac Norris dans le Tennessee. Construit en 2005, notre maison est bien entretenue.
La maison est équipée de 5 chambres: chambre principale = 1 lit king w / salle de bain, 2 reines dans les chambres inférieures partagent une salle de bain et 8 lits superposés dans deux chambres superposées à l'étage qui partagent une salle de bain.

This was our first trip to Norris Lake and it didn't disappoint. The house was great-plenty of room and everything we needed. The dock and cove were wonderful for swimming/floating and fishing. Very peaceful and quiet area and neighbors were very nice. We rented a pontoon from Mountain Lake Marina which is about a 10 min boat ride from house. Jim was extremely responsive to any questions and provided all information to make the stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing week. This was our first trip to Norris Lake and so glad we chose this property for our stay. The house was perfect and we especially enjoyed the fire pit on the deck where we spent our evenings. There were many steps as warned but well worth the trip down to the spacious dock and peaceful cove where we swam and fished. Mountain Lake Marina delivered a pontoon boat right to our dock and we enjoyed exploring the lake for a few days. Jim was extremely helpful answering all my questions and providing all necessary information for our stay. We would definitely stay again.

House was as advertised, clean with plenty of space & perfect for a group with families. Dock was superb with electric conveniently located for blowing up inflatables and charging boat batteries. Located in a very protected cove with easy access to jumping rocks and close to 3 marinas.

Norris Family Vacation

The house was in great shape and well equipped. Lots of space for 6 adults and 4 kids. Dock was fantastic. There are quite a few steps to the lake, but they were stone and sturdy and not slippery. Firepit area was very nice. Driveway was a little tricky (steep) but manageable. We brought in groceries and cooked all meals except for one. We took a quick boat ride to Mountain Lake Marina and had dinner one night. Great food and affordable. We had a fantastic time!

Great Lake get away

Perfect place on the lake. Quick and easy to all the Marinas, quiet dock, low wake. Plenty of house amenities- makes it nice when you are there. Internet is fast enough to stream tv and play games. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful summer vacation with adult children and 1 newborn

We had a great time at the Gaskell's Norris Lake home. It was the first family vacation we've had all together with our now adult children, a spouse (ages 20, 24, 28) and our first grandchild, a newborn! We loved and utilized all that they had to offer... the covered slip for our boat, paddle board, kayak, fire pit, gas grill, air hockey and the very well appointed kitchen as we cooked dinner every night. We needed for nothing but here a couple of tips. We brought a folding table that we left on the covered portion of the dock to hold any food and supplies lending to fewer trips up and down the 70+ steps to the house. We would also recommend buying all of your supplies in town (we bought all of our necessary groceries not brought from home from Walmart) before heading to the house...it's a 20+ minute drive on narrow, winding roads. We thought we would head back into town half way through the week, not knowing the route, and once we were settled in decided not to make the trip there and back another time...we decided to make do and spend more time on the beautiful lake :) Thank you , Gaskell Family, for sharing your home with us, we had a beautiful and memorable stay!

Beautiful Lake Home!

This was our family's first trip to Norris Lake and we were very pleased and happy with our stay in Jim's home. Everything was perfect. Jim was very responsive to messages and we had no issues at all. The home is beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We took our boat along and docked it at the house for the week. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the lake and surrounding areas. We would love to return for future visits! Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home.

Great family vacation!

The house and area are excellent! We had 11 people total with two families with five kids ages 5-12, along with 4 parents and 2 grandparents, and everyone had a blast. There was plenty of room in the house for everyone and besides taking numerous boat trips on the pontoon we rented, we never left the house. We needed to replenish a few groceries and the nearby Walmart delivered to the house which was great. Jim and Marj were very responsive and helpful, although we didn’t need much because the house was so clean, equipped, well marked, etc. We had never been to Lake Norris before, and we were very impressed. The lake is enormous, clean, and not crowded. Water temp was perfect too. The dock at the house is large and in great shape. The nearby Mountain Lake Marina was also very nice with great service. We rented a pontoon which is highly recommended to explore such a large lake, and also rented a tube to pull the kids. Wonderful experience all around.

Another Fantastic Stay

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and it was even better than before. We owners wholeheartedly care about their lake home and continue to make upgrades. The dock was perfect for us and the cove is quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and the table was large enough for all 9 of us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a blast! The house was great for multiple families of different ages who want an escape. Pay attention to the driveway parking and steps down to the lake descriptions (both are accurate and can be a challenge for some people). Very quiet and peaceful

Perfect place for family.

Our stay here was fantastic. Everything it said in the listing was correct and the home was very well kept. Yes, there are a lot of steps going down to the dock but that is most places on lake Norris. The dock is huge and having the kayak and paddle board provided was a nice added bonus. There were nine of us total, including 19, 18 and 15-year-olds who had a blast. Communication with Jim was never an issue. He was very responsive and easy to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home but…..

The home was beautiful and the dock was very nice. We expected the many stairs to the lake. What we did not expect was the plethora of loose pavers. I was holding onto the rail for dear life every time we went up or down. There was a machine running in the basement. Not sure what it was but it would kick on and off constantly (very very loud) which did not allow a peaceful experience sleeping or awake which was very disappointing. The deck was wonderful and the grill was also very nice. The ice maker in the fridge continued to click at all hours finally we just turned it off and bought ice. There was construction going on right next door so we were awakened daily to the beeping of the construction vehicles. The last thing I will say is the property was advertised as being good for dogs but there was only a small patch of grass by the shed. Overall we enjoyed our stay but I would not recommend telling folks dogs are ok and the pavers really need to be repaired.

Wonderful get away

The house was perfect, plenty of space for the 8 adults and 2 kids and had everything we needed. The steps going down are steep but boy the peace once you get down is so worth it just make sure when you go down you plan on staying down for a while! Or just stay on the patio and enjoy the sounds of nature! We will definitely be going back!

Quiet and relaxing

Just my husband, son and myself stayed here. Very peaceful and relaxing. Caught a couple of big catfish from the dock. Very clean and plenty of room. Only one room in the home had a tv but that forced us to be together rather than us all go off to our own rooms. Wifi slow but again that forced us to do things together as a family so it wasn’t a bad thing. Driveway a lil intimidating but husband handled it well. Lots of steps up and down to the dock so make sure you have what you need heading down. Beautiful lake. Home has everything you need. Was chilly at night but they had plenty of extra warm blankets in the closets.

Great Lakefront House

Beautiful well kept lakefront house with a nice view of the lake cove and great dock. I rented a pontoon from the marina just a mile (by water) away from the house for the weekend and was able to tie up at the house's dock. The hideaway cleats were AMAZING since I normally bash my toe on dock cleats. There's around 70 steps to the lake from the lower deck but it's definitely worth it. Kitchen was laid out well with plenty of seating for our group of 6, easily could've fit 10+. Family room has a great view of the lake. The lower deck is protected from the weather and despite the rain we were able to hang out there without getting wet. 100% would stay here again.

Since we are located back in a cove, swimming around the dock or going for longer swims is perfectly fine since there is no boat traffic. There is also great hiking on the TVA trails across the cove you are certain to enjoy.
