Excellent Luxury big 1 bedroom apt.
We have received all 5 star reviews and 100% of guests would stay again.
Comfortably sleeps 4 people, queen bed in the bedroom and also a pull down "Queen Murphy Bed" in the living room
The apt has been recently remodeled with all new appliances and furniture.
You cannot beat the location in the heart of Cork city center next to the Triskel Arts Centre, formerly a Georgian church built in 1726.
The space
A perfect base to explore all that the city offers. This contemporary living space is fitted with a fully integrated Italian kitchen, modern furniture and appliances, including a Smart TV and high speed Wi-Fi.
Guests can enter the building completely contact-less using a smart keyless door. The apartments are located upstairs on the first floor via a stairwell.
Park View is in a perfect holiday or business location to discover all the great attractions of Cork city.
Apartment 1 has an open plan kitchen, living and dining room with views of the city park. It also has a Queen Murphy Bed in the living area and also contains a generous bedroom with a double bed and a separate en-suite with a modern rainfall shower.
Guest access
You cannot get any closer to the city centre, and you are located just next to the old Cork walls, dating back to 1185 AD.
Park View is less than a 5-minute walk to the English Market, St Fin Barre’s Cathedral and the future Cork Event Centre. Also within a 5-minute walk is many excellent restaurants, beautiful cafĂ©s and friendly pubs offering guests a range of culinary choices from Michelin star fine dining, award-winning coffee to cosy tea room experiences.
Other things to note
The closest car parking is only 300m away in “Park It Here” on the same street as the apartments – only €5 for overnight stays from 6pm to 9am. Q-parks is also located in the Grand Parade and offers 24hr parking discounts.
Kent train station and the Air coach are very close approximately 5 minutes’ drive away. Cork Airport is approximately a 15-minute car journey away.

The property was just as advertised. Check-in was effortless and the flat was perfectly furnished. The kitchen was great for a three week stay, although I dined out quite a bit. The location is ideal and you can walk to most sites and restaurants. I used Cork as a base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Last but not least, John provided quick assistance when needed. I highly recommend this flat during your stay in Cork.

Awesome place to stay in the middle of Cork!

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was walking distance from many shops and restaurants. The apartment was bigger that we thought the pictures showed. The Murphy bed was very comfortable. We also were happy to have coffee provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and property

The location is great, central to Cork. Can be a little noisy at night but that is city living. Owner did supply ear plugs if needed. Great option if you are visiting Cork.

Should have stayed longer!

The apartment is perfectly located, loved the kitchen setup and it is close to everything. The people of Cork were so pleasant and helpful. We had a fabulous time, next time we’ll stay longer.

Very nice flat, centrally located

Our host made things exceptionally simple and straightforward with detailed documentation (including pictures). He went out of his way to make checking in idiot-proof, which we greatly appreciated after a long drive and in a new city. A parking lot is right down the street if you have a car as we did. Construction at an adjacent park was the only downside.

Great location in city centre

This lovely apartment was in a great location to walk throughout Cork's city center. Very close to many restaurants and pubs as well as shopping. Bus service was just outside the front door or across the park. We would definitely stay again if we visit in the future.

Pleasant & Safe

My sister and I visited Cork and really enjoyed this place. It was the perfect location for us. The parking garage is very close. For 2 girls traveling, it felt safe and secure. The place was lovely and clean, I recommend this to all and I would definitely rent it again.

Luxurious Comfort in Central Cork City

We stayed five nights. The second-floor apartment was very clean, very comfortable, fully equipped, tastefully appointed, and located in the heart of Cork City very near the English Market. The shower was especially comfortable. We'd absolutely book it again.

Lovely and Well-Equipped Apartment!

We very much enjoyed our two-night stay at this very nice, well appointed and equipped apartment. All aspects are as represented and it was exceptionally clean. Both beds, including the Murphy bed in the main room were very comfortable and the linens were quite nice. All around a great stay!

Nice place with good location

Nice and comfortable apartment with good shower. Great kitchen. View to a park was the best thing - there are very few trees in Cork city. The way the furniture was arranged in living room was a bit confusing.

Great place in Cork!

John's place really made our stay in Cork fantastic. It is beautifully designed. Banks of windows offer plenty of natural light and beautiful views of a park nearby. Although centrally located, the space is incredibly quiet and peaceful. Walk out the door and you are right where you want to be in a very short walk, the river, the university, Grand Parade. And John is right there if you need him. Thank you!

Couldn't recommend this property more!

As someone who is from Cork, I can say that the location could not be better. It is right in the city centre, so it's close to everything, and suited to any kind of visit/holiday. We couldn't believe how lucky we got, the property was spotless, and seemed like it had been recently refurbished. It was spacious, with every amenity you could want. The check-in process was so seamless, and the host couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. There were lots of very thoughtful details, we'd be happy to stay there for a longer period. Really can't recommend this stay enough, looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful Modern Appt in City Center

This apartment was our favorite place we stayed on our trip around Ireland. It is a little difficult to get to via rental car but following John’s directions got us there fine. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, nice bathroom and walkable to lots of pubs and restaurants. Only surprise was there was a pop up club event the night we arrived, but the host was very kind and provided earplugs. Noise is part of staying in city center, so not a bother for us and didn’t last too late into the night. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful apt, lovely view, great location

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here on the last leg of our Northern Ireland exploration. Top notch everything here, very clean, loads of extras with personalized touches. Pay attention to the very helpful pdf you will receive, the pics of outside apt were VERY helpful. Bonus view of park from windows. We parked our rental for most the time here and found the location was excellent and conveniently located. Couldn’t say enough. We travel frequently and really appreciate the gems.

Great location in the heart of the old town.

The apartment is near pubs, shops, and restaurants. The property owner dealt with an electrical problem right away. Nearby construction caused an interruption in power. The host was so helpful in dealing with this. He also had nice small touches that made our stay pleasant, such as coffee, tea, bottled water, and laundry detergent. He provided detailed instructions on the use of appliances. Not every host goes to these lengths to make his guest comfortable. The only things I would have liked were a fan for the bedroom and a mat for the shower. It was a bit slippery and a danger for old folks such as us. This is just a suggestion for future guests, not a complaint.

The apartment seemed newly renovated; beautiful appliances, well designed layout. It had a nice view of the neighboring park, and nearby English Market, two convenience stores, and great restaurants. Several bus stops were also near, making public transit easy.

Spectacular flat

Better even than we imagined for this contemporary, beautifully designed apartment with views of the 18th church and lovely tree-lined park. And with pubs, coffee and restaurants just steps away. Great place to stay!
