Remodeled 1915 Historic Rockport Home Close to Beach & Historic Downtown Dist.
This beautiful, historical home has been fully updated to have modern amenities while preserving the historic charm. It features 2 spacious master bedrooms with king beds. The home has all new furnishings, and it also includes an oversized washer/dryer. There is plenty of boat parking and the public boat launch is only blocks away. It is walking distance to the Rockport Beach and Rockport City Center restaurants and shops.
Great Property close to all the work and fun things in the Aransas/Rockport/Fulton Area. Can't go wrong with the fabulous hosts AND the fact that the place is outrageously well-stocked. It is like staying at a friend's house. If you forgot it --- no worries they got it!! What a rare treat. Super attentive and accessible -- big ole classic place with style to match --- thanks again to K&L..
Perfect two story home for 10 people, nice accommodations, very short drive to the beach (literally just down the street) and easy access to dinning, grocery stores.
Comfortable bedding, well stocked kitchen supplies, AC was great given beach front humidity and fenced yard for young children to safely play.
Would recommend to friends if they were to vacation in Rockport, Texas; especially with young children given the gentle lapping waves and shallow bay.
My wife and I and my brother in law stayed at this property. The property is very well equipped and very well maintained. Our critique is meant to be a constructive suggestion. We are all in our later 70âs and are very sensitive to handicap/older adult accessibility. The downstairs tub/shower is not safely usable by seniors and weâre not sure how to senior proof this tub/shower. The upstairs shower can be made senior friendly with the following suggestions. First the stair rail needs to be extended to the top of the stairs including the second flight. An easy improvement requiring only 12 feet of railing total for both sets of stairs. Second, in the upstairs shower install two or three handicap rails in the shower. Very inexpensive. Third, in both toilets install a handicap hand rail, once again very inexpensive to accomplish. Once again, these are meant as constructive suggestions. If accomplished we would certainly consider staying at this property again.
This house was by far the epitome of the word GRAND! If you love old houses, wood floors and being extremely close to the beach, this house is for you. It certainly has a few little quirks that it takes time to adjust to, but nothing major. I appreciated the cook wear and dishes since we stayed over 1 week and made many of our meals at "home." There was plenty of games to play and books to read, though honestly, our family was so busy outside of the house that we hardly got to indulge ourselves. It was extremely quiet for the most part, though the next door neighbor does have a dog that barked and woke me up every morning quite early. That wasn't an issue for me since I have my own dog who would do the same at home! Overall, Wonderful place to stay!
Our extended family of 9 stayed in this lovely home for 5 days. It was just as pictured online and suited our needs perfectly! Our three grandsons loved the tree house and the yard was perfect for our dog! The location was ideal for us to golf cart to the beach each day! We loved every minute!
The property was very nice and close to all the things we wanted to do. The porch was our favorite part of the house bc of the cool breeze and peaceful atmosphere
We enjoyed the atmosphere of the cottage. Classy antique with modern enhancements. The house looks like the pictures. We'd come back the next time we're in Rockport.
I highly recommend this property. The house is recently remodeled and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of room for our extended family. Great location. Kids loved that the donut shop was right across the street. We could walk to the beach.
