If you're rarely, if ever, going to be in the VRBO and don't mind sleeping in extreme heat, it's great. There's only one AC unit and it's in the entry way hallway so it never reaches to the upstairs room and barely makes it into the main room.Even with it running at full strength, it was still very warm. The first night we were there, the shower was not draining and was overflowing onto the bathroom floor. After we told our hosts, they said they would send someone to fix it the next day, which made our showers for that night difficult. They said to use the drain-o they had in the apartment, but it was empty. Someone did come the next day, but it still wasn't fully fixed and there was clearly a lot of water damage happening. My last note is the lack of toilet paper. There was three of us staying in this VRBO for three nights. After we used up the only roll of toilet paper they had, I reached out for more, and she told me they only supplied one roll and the rest I'd have to get on my own.The location made the rest of these things bearable, but definitely made for an uncomfortable stay.
Pros: Location was very central with the market just a couple minutes away and restaurants literally right down stairs. Very much appreciated the flexible check out time as we needed a little more time to check out.
Cons: wifi was spotty and didn't work 50% of the time. We asked manager to fix it as soon as we checked in and they worked on it until after we checked out so it was never fixed. manager checked us in and left us with a big bag of bedding so we had to make our own beds after checking in at 10PM. It was the first time we had to put our own sheets on the beds. and we had to figure out how to make the sofa bed as it wasn't prepared even though we specified that we need the third bed. weekends were very loud as it seemed like students were partying downstairs until 3-4am. bring ear plugs. upstairs bedroom looked like it used to be an attic and if you are taller than about 5'3, you will have to crouch to walk around and there is a big pillar running across the ceiling so be careful not to hit your head even if you are under 5'3.
