Our host, JF, is a kind and caring person. We will definitely come back to stay in Avignon and stay with JF. He enthusiastically welcomed us as a friend to the city that he loves. The property location was perfect for our 5 night stay. Honestly, we wish we could’ve stayed longer. Staying within the old city walls was such a treat, so walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. We walked to Les Halles every day to get bread, produce, meat, fish, we needed from the beautiful marche’. The products are top notch. JF gave us insight to the best bread in Avignon city walls. He had 3 favorites and we tried (and loved!) them all. He knows his wines and guided us to the best wineries in the area. The apartment was lovely. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the kitchen. Beds and bathroom were very comfortable.JF was very attentive throughout the process. He gave us personal attention. He has years of experience in the hotel and wine industry. His family has lived the city of Avignon over generations, right in that neighborhood. His family history with the area gave us a deeper feeling of connection to Avignon. JF was fully committed as our host. This apartment was a great hub for visiting the south of France and maintaining a feeling of rest and relaxation-a home away from home!
