Surf’s Up offers a commanding view of the ocean and a two minute walk to an awesome beach. The main deck provides a front row seat of the view and a variety of beachy outdoor furniture to match your lounging moods.

There are two spacious bedrooms with really comfortable king beds, a large living room with a 55" high definition TV, a full kitchen and coffee bar, a separate work area (fast wifi included) with its own deck right outside and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

If you can summon the power to explore beyond the property - take a short walk to the great selection of shops and restaurants, including Pleasure Island’s Tiki Bar at the Ocean Grill!

Surf’s Up is the upper unit of two completely separate units at the property.

We had a wonderful time at Surfs Up! Such a close & easy walk to the beach with all the amenities you need in the house. Everything was comfortable and the huge front porch was lovely! We had a couple rainy days so it was great to be able to sit out there and still enjoy the views! Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 4 stayed over the weekend. Easy check in process and nicely decorated. Great location with quick access to the beach and restaurants. We would stay here again!

Wonderful time in a peaceful place

Loved our downstairs neighbors that rented as well. They were lovely and so was the entire stay. This house is lovely and the stay was definitely worth coming back for.

Cozy Cottage, Great location!

We rented the upper unit of this property and it was perfect for our chill beach getaway. The proximity to the beach was awesome! The easy stroll meant we could pick our moments to beat the crowds or escape back to the house at the hottest part of the day. Rich quickly responded when we messaged him during our stay. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the town.

Great place & awesome location!

Surfs up was a really nice property. Very clean and well appointed and an awesome location... one block from beach access. Loved sitting on the big front porch with a drink and people watching!

Love this house!

I found this little place by accident a year ago… already stayed twice. The owners are great to deal with, love the swing/ breeze on the porch, and the close by amenities within walking distance. Our goto for our family getaway!

Great experience. So close to the beach. Good location in terms of restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Only 20 minutes from Wilmington. We highly recommend.

Weekend get away.

We arrived on Friday night to find the lights on for us and the house cozy, clean, and comfortable. It was a very short walk to the beach where it was not crowded and peaceful. I enjoyed sitting on the swing looking at the ocean and people walking by. It was so relaxing.

Beautiful home with everything you need!

My fiancé and family had the pleasure of staying on this property and enjoyed the two min walk to prime beach sand every day! We rented bikes down the road for exploring downtown, but LOVED being within walking distance to great food, drinks and entertainment. The home itself was gorgeous, with everything you need for your beach stay. Gorgeous front porch views and a super personable host who was helpful and responsive when we had questions. Would absolutely book this again next year!

Lovely Place and Location

Place is welcoming with some lovely features (bright lights, hot shower, beach towels, faucet outside, fenced in yard, visitor-controlled temperature control, etc) and walking to the beach took not even 60 seconds. The place is walkable, with a mile walk getting you to the boardwalk. There was even an event on the way we got to see. Overall, highly recommend!

Great in so many ways!

Spotlessly clean and spacious, perfectly located. We loved this rental for so many reasons. The bedrooms are large, linens and beds excellent. 2 separate porches with great views, and a secluded fenced back yard provides excellent outdoor space. Half block walk to the beach access is perfect! We would recommend Rich's house to anyone without hesitation.

Great beach rental

This beach rental is truly only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Very nicely decorated with quality furniture; the beds (mattresses) were the best of any rental I've ever had. This unit is 2nd floor which is nice as the rental has a wonderful covered porch which overlooks the ocean (at an angle). There are several beach-style restaurants nearby, as well as the Carolina Beach boardwalk/entertainment area is within walking distance (25-30 minutes).

Great location

Loved this place! It was roomy, neat and clean, the decor was tastefully simple, the furniture was comfortable. The beds are a bit on the firm side but surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of starter supplies provided and checkout was quick and easy. We did have an issue with getting in using our code and I contacted the host and he responded immediately with a phone call and had us in within minutes! Great communication! The location is perfect with a beautiful view of the ocean. Just a short walk to the beach. We would definetly rent this home again.

Unfair charge

Charged for stains that were there on sheets when we checked in. Totally unfair to pay for someone else’s makeup and stains. We don’t even have makeup and no one create stains on one set of sheets.

The sheets in question were brand new and certainly didn't arrive with stains on them or we would have sent them back. We have the receipts and photos for proof. Based on the stains we saw it was from your dogs being on the furniture which is why we have reminder signs throughout the unit to please keep them off all furniture. I'm also a bit confused as to why you paid for the cost of replacing the sheets if you didn't cause the stains.
