ancien cottage merveilleux de l'océan de style côte avec le canal et le coucher de soleil incroyables qui comportent des mises à jour étonnantes prêts pour vous et votre famille pour profiter et faire des souvenirs. Pirates sont ma passion et ainsi fait un endroit confortable pour vous et votre famille pour vraiment profiter de la sérénité de Carolina Beach. De son ancien conseil de la mode à pied de la proximité de Wilmington tout le monde va trouver quelque chose qu'ils aiment de venir à la plage! Juste quelques-unes des commodités:
1. Douche extérieure avec de l'eau chaude!
2. L'espace de stockage en bas - apportez votre vélo! Il a aussi des chaises de plage et des jouets.
3. Grand pont avec une vue imprenable sur le canal. Il y a une table de pique-nique pour le dîner ou le déjeuner et des chaises pour se détendre. La brise est incroyable.
4. Salon ouvert avec canapé coupe ÉNORME et salle à manger pour six. Regardez les photos - il ne le fait pas justice.
5. câble élargi avec DVR et Internet sans fil.
6. Cuisine ouverte avec bar et appareils en acier inoxydable de marque nouvelle.
7. L'expansion des pots et des casseroles pour la cuisson des repas à la maison. Économisez $$$!
8. Bibliothèque DVD.
9. Parés Pirate Salle de bains - arrrrgh.

19. En face du pont d'accès public sur le canal - vous pouvez regarder les bateaux passer.

Super easy check in and out. Loved the property and how close it was to the beach. It's also very difficult to find a house with a dog who is a barker, but since this is far enough away from others he could bark his heart out. Loved the porch and the house was very beach friendly. Parking was the easiest I've seen at Carolina as well.

Beautiful sunsets over the canal & easy beach access made this a great place to stay. Nice roomy accommodations. We loved the deck on warm days, tho with all the breeze it tends to get dirty out there

Amazing location

You cannot get a better location for the price. You can see the beach from the balcony and a corner store half a block away. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Great house for small kids or babies.

Great Stay

This property could not be more convenient to everything we needed. It is in a great location. We are a family of 4 plus our dog. Kids are 5 and 7. Beach access was so easy and the main drag/boardwalk are minutes away. The property provided everything we needed.

Best Place to Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pirate's Pad over July 4th weekend. The house is so clean. Most appliances/furniture are new. The furniture is comfortable. There is grass for our little dog to enjoy. What a cozy place! The location of the house is also very convenient--1 min walk to the Kupboard grocery store, 2 min walk to the beach, and ~15 min (<1 mile) walk to the restaurants by the boardwalk area. No need to worry about driving places and having to find parking. This is our new favorite place to stay of all the beaches in NC! We will come back next year!

Location is perfect - walkability score is 10/10. Quite neighborhood with friendly people. Home desperately needs deep cleaning and is in disrepair. It's neither attactive or comfortable. Couch is dirty & stained. Bathroom rugs were filthy. Walls, cabinets & doors are a mess. Bathroom fixtures are coming out of the wall. Water roaches were really bad. Just very disappointed and cannot recommend.

We would love to stay here again

Jane was great with communicating with me before our stay, during and after. Thank you Jane! I was able to text her my suggestions on improving the property. She was available and quick to respond. We stayed here during the recent Tropical Storm Ophelia (?), 9/21/23, and while we were indoors for a couple of days, the place was insulated well, and it was pretty neat to listen to how the weather played out. Keep in mind to those expecting a ‘castle’, that this property has more of the beach cottage vibe. It was what we wanted. There were three adults and our mini dog, a service dog, and it helped having a washer n dryer on-site. The coffee and mini store behind this property, made me a couple great omelettes! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Hambrick Beach Trip

If I could, I would have taken the home back to Virginia with me. It is exactly what I am looking for! I loved the beach home and the location! So close to the beach and watching the boats in the canal with the lights at night - beautiful! It was a perfect set up for us because our basset hound is almost completely blind and she was able to maneuver the house so well. No inside steps were great too! The outside porch was perfect to sit on and read or watch the thunderstorms pass by. We had NO BUGS!!! It was amazing! I also liked this stretch of beach because it is wide and smooth and with a lifeguard. We really appreciated the Italian Ice guy who rolled by on the beach everyday!! I will definitely be coming back to this home! It was our first time at Carolina Beach and we loved it. I will spread the word to all of my friends. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your home!

Hi Kay, We might have to fight if you decide to take the Pirate's Pad. It's my retirement home - one day. If you noticed the back I am going to put an elevator in one day when old age sets in, but I fell in love with it the moment I got the chance to view it. I love the open space in the living area. The bedrooms are tucked away (with the door separating) so you can enjoy an afternoon nap or watch a movie without disturbing anyone. I'm glad you had a great time. Come back soon. Disappointed!

The location was amazing. Great views, short beach walk. CONS- The floors were swept but not mopped (kids feet were black after walking around) The couch was covered in white dog hair. Luckily I had enough sheets to cover it. All of the couch pillows were stained. I put all of them in the closet while we were there. I’m surprised more complaints weren’t made about the cleanliness. Fridge had smudges all over it, the bathroom smelt of urine and mildew. The shower curtain should be washed, and liner should be changed after a few stays to avoid the smell (you can see mold on the bottom of it) Also the washer does not fill up with enough water to wash a load. The umbrella was broken. I asked the owner to please drop one off the next day. She asked if I could go buy one and she’d reimburse me. I ended up renting each day because it was easier. Also, it isn’t my job to run and get one for her to have for future guest. Unprofessional! I chose this house so I wouldn’t have to bring beach toys or run out and “grab things” I have 2 small kids.. There were only 3 chairs provided for the beach. Only one was a “beach chair” the other 2 were wooden folding chairs. I could go on but you get the point. The house is probably cleaner now than it was before I got there. Been home for 2 days. My youngest daughter and I are both sick with the stomach bug. I assume it’s from the poor cleaning jobs that are done. Zero disinfecting or bleach used here. LAZY cleaner. Don’t recommend.

Thank you for your feedback. I feel it necessary to let you know that you could have contacted Jane the property manager regarding the issues you noted in the review. Jane said that you did contact her about the umbrella and that she was not able to buy the umbrella right away which is why she recommended that you purchase it and she would reimburse you. She said that you responded that you decided to rent the umbrella. Jane is a professional and in all the years she has managed my properties I have never received a complaint, just positive feedback. I am sorry you had these issues and wished that you brought them to our attention so that they could have been rectified.

Perfect last minute spring house for our family! Location is great, just a quick block walk to the beach and views of the canal from the deck. We loved the deck and sat out there often, our dog especially loved laying out there, and there is a gate so it was perfect for her. It is also centrally located between the pier and the boardwalk so we were able to bike to both. North End mini mart is right in front and we had coffee from there everyday. (It is currently under construction so there is some construction debris and such next door at the moment).The house over all was clean, cute and well stocked. I loved that even the couches had sheets available in the closet. One child did sleep on the couch and he loved it. The outdoor shower is a great addition. Lots of items in the closet below you can use such as corn hole.Rebecca is a wonderful host, she knew we were coming in late and left a light on for us. She is very responsive to messages and questions and even had new bags for the corn hole sent over when we asked. If we return to Caroline Beach in the future we would rent this home again.

Good trip. Beautiful place.

The house is in an amazing spot. It is a very nice location and the layout is nice as well. The wrap around porch is amazing. The packet that the owners send is slightly confusing. There is also a lot of what appears to be the owners items at the house which when having kids can make you nervous. For sure would stay at the location again though.

Easy transaction. Simple directions and wealth of information about the locale area. only complaint is that the decking had several nails coming loose ( with toddlers hard on barefeet): restaurants in local area do not do take-out and we had a hard time finding food to go. owner indicated to bring own linens/ towels but there was plentiful at the residence. Great Great location. Very quiet ( soundproofed, didn't really hear the busy street).

I am so excited to share with you my experience of buying a home away from home. As a high end apartment manager located in Raleigh, NC, I've always had the pleasure of living on-site. With that thought process in mind, I turned my home purchase towards the beach so that my friends and I could have a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Here you'll find our adventures and we hope that you will add your own!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

I personally love being in a single family home at the beach. This one is something special - it has a cool little shop that sales beer, chips and soda (ice too) in the backyard during the summer, yes the backyard. You even have to pass it on the 30 foot walk to the beach. The second thing I love the most is the view. I love seeing all the action around me. From the boats on the canal to watching the folks pass by coming from the North End drive out there is some amazing people watching. No matter whether it's cold or hot, I love it here. There is a reason it's call Paradise Island and I fully understand it! I also enjoy the local flare. From the great restaurants like Michael's Seafood to Seawitch Cafe and Tiki Bar you just can't beat this laid back island. In the winter, you should check out the Island of Lights. The locals really get into this and it's amazing to see the ocean in the winter with all the lights and Christmas Flare at the Boardwalk!

If you are looking to relax, you've landed in the right place. You'll love relaxing in this like new two bedroom one bath cottage. After visiting Carolina Beach as a child, I fell in love with this beach and I've taken all my likes from the other condos and put them into this space. I went to ECU and have a huge flare for Pirate Stuff. You’ll notice it here.

The cottage has a HUGE balcony facing the canal with an awesome view – check out the pictures.
