Luxurious 3 Bedroom Condo Located in a Premier Gated Community at the Beach!

This spacious 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom freshly updated condo at Ocean Keyes is located on the top floor with vaulted ceilings and larger patio to enjoy. The building this unit is located in backs up directly to the pool which you can see from the patio. Ocean Keyes is located in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. Ocean Keyes is a gated community that is located just two streets off of the ocean. The kitchen has granite counter tops, full sized appliances, and is fully stocked for cooking and dining in. The property has a total of 6 swimming pools with 4 baby pools, 6 hot tubs, a game room, tennis courts and a fitness center. It's an easy 7 minute walk to the beach. We will only rent to those who are 25 years of age and older. There is a camera that monitors ONLY the front door on the outside of the condo, this is for the safety and security for not only us, but our guests. No other cameras are in or around the condo. Linens are provided throughout the condo! No Smoking allowed in the unit. If you are caught smoking, there will be a $5,000 fee assessed. Boats, Motorcycles, Golf Carts, Trailers, or RV's are NOT allowed. If you are caught with one from our HOA, you will be responsible in paying a $1,000.00 dollar fee. Pets are not allowed on property, if you are caught with one, you will be responsible for a $5,000 dollar fee plus cleaning fees. Please do not throw anything off the balcony, if you are caught doing so, North Myrtle Beach police will be called immediately, and you will be charged a $1,000 fine. You are responsible for any damages that may occur during your stay. We hope you decide to stay with us! A Photo ID will be required when reserving this property. Only registered guests are allowed. You must provide all names and ages of guests staying inside the property. We allow a maximum of 8 guests in the unit.

The condo was very clean in a great area! The kitchen was probably the best stocked we have seen. The pools and hot tubs were nice. There is a little bit of walk to the beach but we didn’t mind and expected that and priced fairly! There is some free public parking close to beach if needed. We enjoyed our stay!

The condo was wonderful!! Only small thing I’d want differently would be a comfortable bed to sleep in but other than that I loved it and already want to be back!

Everything was perfect

the condo was very clean, and we were at the beach every day with only a 10 minute walk. On the main street, there are tons of things to do and great restaurants. For cleanliness, its easy access to the beach and its easy access or various restaurants, I absolutely recommend it

Golf trip with friends

The property was fantastic! We plan a golf vacation trip to the beach every year and this was the nicest/cleanest VRBO we've had. Really enjoyed the large porch. Will be back!

Perfect Location

This property is located within an easy walk of the beach & restaurants. It is within a well-maintained complex that is quiet & peaceful away from the noise & traffic at the beach. The unit is beautifully outfitted with Tommy Bahama decor, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location...quiet, within 10 minute walk to beach and Main St areas. Enjoyed the community pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and game room. Property was well-kept. The unit was very clean, with comfortable furnishings, and the kitchen was well-appointed. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Fall mini vacation

The condo was very clean and cozy. It had everything in it that we needed. We had a nice big balcony overlooking the pool and the beach was right down the road. It was so peaceful and quiet yet still close to many attractions. The owner Nicholas was very quick responding to our questions. Definitely recommended.

We love everything about this condo. Exceptionally clean with everything you need. Nice pool view with proximity to the beach. Nicholas assisted us all the way from the moment we reserved it. Convenience by the sea

I traveled with my 5 children and husband, we enjoyed our stay! The beach was right down the road! There were plenty of places to eat, shop and have fun with the kids. We enjoyed all the space we had in the apartment, and the access to the pool was a plus! When we arrived everything was clean and neat. I loved that the owner provided plenty of games that we enjoyed and everything we needed to make meals. This was a great home away from home!

Yearly North Myrtle trip

This us thec1st time we stayed at Ocean Keyes and it was a good experience. The unit we rented from Nicholas was great. It was spacious, clean and had all the necessities. The only thing we did not care for was the lock system. It is much easier to have key pad lock. Other than that it was fantastic.

Excellent Property

We had a great stay at this family friendly location. We were primarily celebrating high school graduations and the kids took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen gear (they took turns cooking meal each night!). The property is centrally located to be able to walk everywhere! The beach, shops and restaurants. We only really drove to get groceries. The condo was very clean and inviting. I highly recommend! Thank you Nick for a great week to start these kids new chapter.

Great place to stay!

Our family loves North Myrtle and spend at least one week there every year. We have previously stayed at the same place for several years but due to that condo being sold, we had to find a new place this year. And what a gem we found! Everything was just as described and even more spacious than we expected! Very clean, quiet and private providing all we needed. It was also within walking distance of a lot of places we like to visit. The owner, Nicholas, was very pleasant to communicate with and checked on us to be sure everything was going well! If you are looking for a condo in a nice family oriented community with a short walk to the beach, this will be a great place for you to stay!

Wonderful location and beautiful property!

I want to first say that Nick(the host) is exceptional. He sent us a message on our first night to check to make sure everything was up to expectation. You can tell that they truly care about their guests happiness. The condo itself is beautiful, spacious, and in a wonderful location. The beds are very comfortable, the living room is awesome, and the back balcony is a great place to sit while looking down on the pool/hot tub area. This is the perfect condo and we will be returning! Thanks Nick for taking care of us an caring so much!

Did not realize this was on the 3rd floor no elevator two older people with bad knees made this very challenging the beach was a 20 min walk from the condo. The condo has a great layout bed in master bedroom is small and not very comfortable there is plenty of cook ware in the kitchen if my knees were better would we stay here again and that would be a yes the owner returns answers to questions real fast and good communication thanks dennis

Hello Dennis, not once in our listing or anywhere do you find that we say there is an elevator. It is not a 20 minute walk to the beach either, its a simple 7 minute walk to the beach. I do feel bad that you have bad knees, this is the first time you even mentioned anything. In fact, when I text you twice during your stay to make sure everything was good, you said everything was great other than your children driving you nuts. If you had an issue with the third floor or even the walk to the beach(I guess if you walk slower than a snail it would take 20 minutes) why wouldn't you mention it to me then? As for the master bedroom, how can you even say it is small? The master bedroom is very spacious, which you can find on many other reviews. I appreciate the communication compliment, I just wish it would have been returned if you had any of these issues during your stay, we could have taken care of it.

I could live here

Everything we could ask for in a rental property to be honest. The condo itself was clean, quiet and made me feel like I could live here. Every morning I used the fitness room that had everything I needed to get my workouts in as well as a pool and adjacent hot tub. As far as location, I don’t think you could get a better one for us. We came down for a softball tournament and the fields were fifteen minutes tops from the resort. If the beach is your thing, it was a few blocks straight down the street to the shoreline which made morning walks part of the every day routine. Restaurants, grocery stores, and activities like Mini Golf were right along the main roads a couple blocks in the opposite direction. Sometimes when I travel I like to stay at different places to see what I may like best. I honestly feel like I’ve already done that here and this will be my only choice when I come back.

Horrible experience

Third floor no elevator… when other units in the complex have elevators. When renting in an area that caters to an older crowd, that should be up front of the listing. A disabled person had to cut her stay short. And, we did fail to leave the parking passes that were listed at one price to replace. The owner arbitrarily charged FIVE TIMES EACH TO REPLACE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Sherrill, thank you for your review. I understand that your biggest complaint is the lack of elevator in our building. However, we do not advertise we have an elevator in our amenities, on our listing, or anywhere in our description. If you need an elevator, I would recommend doing further research on listings. This development caters to all ages, including my personal children who are all under 10 years of age. This is not a retirement development in the least bit. Each pool area contains a kiddie pool that is only one foot deep, one hot tub, and a full size pool. There's also a gaming room, a workout facility, and tennis courts to cater to all age groups. Also, a disabled person did not have to cut their stay short, because you used the door lock every single day of your stay according to our August Home App. As far as the parking passes go, you STOLE PERSONAL PROPERTY FROM US AND ADMITTED TO IT and were charged accordingly. You claimed to have "lost" the parking passes, but in your review you claim you failed to leave them. I charged you $25 each fee for the parking passes because I was forced to pay someone to go to the office to buy new ones being you "failed to leave them". Also, you have ignored my payment requests for said parking passes and have not paid the invoice.

This has been a nightmare from the the day we arrived until our last full night of the vacation. We couldn’t get into the condo right away. It took quite a while before the app worked. Not the owners’s fault. Power outages caused the a/c unit stop working. Again, not owners fault. Owner texted back saying unit couldn’t be until the next morning. We figured that was the end of the situation, and we just have to uncomfortable for the night. He returned a text at 11:40 pm stating that an emergency call could be placed for the a/c to be fixed. Why wasn’t that an option when the first reply text was sent? We didn’t respond to the late text because we were sleeping for the 12 hour car ride home. I texted the owner the next morning stating that I felt we should be compensated for that evening. It was over 100 degrees outside, and almost 90 degrees in the top floor condo we were renting. He became belligerent, stated that he was disappointed that I felt entitled to any compensation, and that it was due to a power outage that was beyond his control. I agree that he couldn’t control the power outage but everything else returned to normal, so the a/c unit was obviously not caused by the power outage. He then sent a message stating that if left a review stating any of this, he would give us a bad review so that other owners are aware. He since stated that I stole his parking and pool passes. I did not take them. They were left in the exact same spot as they were when we arrived.

While I always appreciate guest feedback, I was surprised by both the tone and content of your comments, especially in light of the fact that items were reported missing from the property following your stay. In response to your claims: the entry issue you described stemmed from difficulty using the app, not a system error. I responded promptly with an alternative solution, and gained entry into the condo. Regarding the air conditioning, the temporary issue was due to a citywide power outage—something entirely beyond our control. Despite that, I made additional efforts to provide assistance, which again went unacknowledged. You also refused maintenance access to the property, making it impossible to resolve the issues you later mentioned. Without access, no owner or manager can be expected to rectify concerns. Finally, I must note that my cleaning staff reported missing parking passes and wristbands following your departure. These items are essential for future guests and their absence is a serious concern and you will pay for them. While I understand that not every stay is perfect, the overwhelming majority of our guests have rated their experience as excellent. I stand by the quality of the property and the service provided, not some random guest who is searching for money.
