Truly Special

This property is amazing in every way. Beautiful sand beach that our granddaughters spent hours building sandcastles on. Immaculately clean log home stocked with anything you could ever need to enjoy your stay. Lush landscaping that made us feel like we were at a 5 Star resort. Super comfortable beds, each with its own bathroom. So many games to play, both indoor and out, that our family never even turned on the TV
..for a week
.with kids! Very convenient to Silverwood and about 20 minutes to Sandpoint. Leanne and Dean have created a very special place for families to relax and reconnect.

Next Level Awesome

Prepare to step into another realm, a home where every detail is carefully crafted to optimize family enjoyment and memory generation. This home and property are at an elevated level and do not compare to the dozens of other rentals we've stayed in. You are welcomed as one would imagine family would be welcomed and the hosts are responsive and go above and beyond to help their guests. We loved the rock painting station and we had so many laughs around the covered ping pong table when the weather was bad. The water trampoline was a big hit with our girls. The lake access and all of the accompanying water craft meant we had endless fun right outside the backdoor. The home is incredibly well appointed with everything you could need. Coffee and tea aplenty. Good cookware, spices and cooking basics. Bath and beach towels. Bug spray. Quality toiletries. Staying in this home is a cherished memory. We hope to come back!

Amazing stay!

We had such a wonderful time on our vacation at Leanne and Dean's place! The gardens, landscaping, outdoor spaces are absolutely stunning and great care has been taken to think of every game and amenities to make for a perfect trip. Magical Stay

Wow! What a beautiful home, in a magical setting. This is hands down our favorite Vrbo we've stayed in. From the charm of the log cabin, to the exquisiteness of the landscaped yard, set on edge of lake Pend Orielle. You can tell this home has been a labor love. It's truly one of a kind. The home was well stocked with everything you could need, and more! We used the kayaks, canoe and trampoline daily. The only problem was we didn't want to leave at the end of our stay :) We'll for sure be returning next year. Thanks Dean and Leanne for an unforgettable stay!

Heaven on Earth

There are no words to describe how beautiful this log home is! The Amenities surpass anywhere we have ever stayed. There was so much for the kids to do! The owners were beyond helpful with everything! They thought of every single detail of what we would need. The fabulous dock for the boat made it so easy. There is not one negative thing to say about this home. Fabulous!!

Perfect!

This was by far the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. The hosts were so helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to take care of any concerns or needs we had, the house was beautiful, well appointed and clean, and the property was equally gorgeous and so peaceful. Wonderful vacation home

This was our second time staying at this home and it did not disappoint. We all had a fabulous time (teens and adults included)! The house is very well stocked - the owners (who are very friendly) have thought of pretty much everything! It was so fun to sit by the fire pit in the evenings and to enjoy the lake during the days. If you are considering renting this property- don’t hesitate- you won’t be disappointed!

Trip of a lifetime!

My wife and I and our 5 boys (7 - 14) absolutely loved our time here. The water was beautiful, clear, and the temperature was very refreshing on warm summer days. The hosts were engaging and quick to respond but allowed for as much privacy as we wanted. They have literally thought of everything. All the wayer toys and equipment were in great condition and functioned as advertised. I can not say enough positive things about this property or the owners. We loved our time there.

Great family cabin

We’ve stayed here 3 summers in a row now. It’s close to the water, has a nice beach that slopes gently into the water, and the cabin itself is perfect for our family of 5. Well managed - owners are super easy to work with and always quick to respond to questions or give a heads up about anything that might come up.

Great week on the Lake

Our family of 5 (+2 Grandparents) stayed a week in July 2023 and loved it. This place had the highest quality and most thoughtful appointments of any rental we've ever stayed in. The kitchen items and appliances were great, and there were tons of quality toys and water items for the kids to play with. The bbq was even clean! The owners are right next door when we had questions. Overall, excellent and highly recommended. We're hoping to stay here again next year!

Perfect Family Vacation

This was actually our second time at this property. It has everything we need. Views, outdoor space, a beautiful dock, serenity, toys for the kids, a big smart tv where we could log in for night time movies with the kiddos. It has all kinds of fun stuff for the kids and all the practical stuff for the parents. Incredibly clean and stocked with extras too. We highly recommend this place!

Amazing home in a beautiful location.

Every base was covered! The owners thought of everything and more that visitors might need to be comfortable, entertained and happy. There were several boats to use, life vests, wet suits, games and a very nice dock. The home was stunning and well stocked with kitchen supplies and games. The beds and other furnishings were comfortable and there was a bathroom for each bedroom. The landscaping was beautiful and meticulously cared for. The wildlife include some cool fish caught by my grandson, and many different birds including a beautiful bald eagle, who also caught a fish. We had a fabulous time.

Amazing!

I don't even know where to begin! This is an exceptional property in a great location with great owners. The owners live next door to this property but are very non-intrusive. They are very friendly and responsive/helpful when needed. The owners have gone out of their way to make the property incredible. We all had such a great time that no on wanted to leave. The water trampoline was a blast for kids and adults alike. The house was very well stocked; the owners have thought of pretty much everything. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of bathroom space for everyone. There is a bunk room which all our kids enjoyed as their own space. The kids loved the ping pong table and the adults enjoyed the gas firepit at night. If you are considering this property, don't think twice-just book it; you won't regret it! We hope to return next summer!

Best house on river

This property far exceeded our expectations. The home is meticulous, grounds are beautiful and the entire experience was exceptional. We have vacationed in Sandpoint for 6 summers and this home was our best place yet. There are endless options for games, toys for the kids and water activities. We will definitely return to this property.

5-Star vacation!

The house was warm and welcoming like the owners. Quick, friendly, and helpful responses. From the welcome greeting on chalkboard to s’mores ingredients in the pantry, you can tell Leanne and Dean are experienced at hosting, and more importantly, enjoying life. The house amenities had all sorts of things to keep family entertained. Kayaks, floaties, ping-pong, cornhole, fire pit, and simply nice relaxing spaces. I finished 2 books that had taken me forever. I wasn’t considering the house at first bc it wasn’t on main lake. It was on the River. But the location was even better bc it was quiet and private. We’ve stayed on the same lake before and love it but like trying new places. We are very very very tempted to book again bc it was overall perfect. My hubs is extremely picky so a good gauge on how nice things are. He didn’t have anything to complain about except our week went too quickly. Thank you for sharing your delightful home and hospitality with us. Memories created for a lifetime!

Extraordinary in every way

Our family had an amazing stay at this extraordinary property. The home is very comfortable and has everything we couldn’t asked for - and more - to enjoy time with the family at the lake. Every detail is though of and thought through - down to games and toys for adults and kids of all ages. The home has A/C units also, which is a rare find at lake properties. The grounds are meticulously maintained and include a fire pit, water feature, sandy beach, and doc for parking the boat. Lastly, the hosts were gracious, friendly, helpful, and attentive - without being intrusive. Highly recommend.

Amazing!

Our stay at this property exceeded every possible expectation. The grounds are beautiful and the amenities kept our family busy and entertained throughout the stay. We had planned activities in the area each day and our kids asked us for "cabin time" on several days just to enjoy everything that was there. Every attention to detail was taken and we were so appreciative the location of everything was labeled. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, with really small details paid attention to with spices, cooking oil, etc. The location of the property is the perfect mix of remote paradise with access to Sandpoint a short drive or boat ride away. The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive throughout and worked to make sure our stay was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful visit, we are planning on making this a regular stop.

Peaceful, majestic, lots and lots of laughter

This home is perfect for a family vacation. The kids (and adults) never once said “I’m bored!” Leanne and Dean were so helpful and easy to communicate with. This was on our top 5 vacations and we will be booking again. The mornings were heavenly, the days were filled with water fun, our tummy’s loved having a full kitchen and there is a gas fire pit as well as a real wood fire pit (perfect for the evening s’mores)!

Wonderful home

Quite possibly our favorite property we've ever stayed at. Beautiful location on the river that is calmer than the big lake, but only a 10 minute boat ride away from Dover Bay and the entrance to the lake. Clear water, sandy beach steps from the cabin, not far from Sandpoint, clean/updated home, wonderful hosts - it was a wonderful vacation and we hope to return soon!

As Good As it Gets

This is one of those rare properties that is even better than the pictures suggest. The landscaping is beautiful, the location is remote but still connected by wifi, the dock and water area are super well-maintained and great to use. Across the board, this house is so well-equipped with any and everything you could need for an Idaho experience. It's obvious that a ton of thought and care went into this space and the property owners are really great people to communicate with and genuinely love the property. I couldn't think of a better set up for a family getaway. We'll be back again.

Absolutely Perfect Place!

Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We could not have asked for a better stay and made lifelong memories here. There is tons of attention to detail inside the home and all around the property- this was top of the list for one of our favorite family vacations. We have children that range from three months to eighteen and there was fun for everyone to be had. Even on a rainy day the activities provided inside of the home , kept everyone more than busy. The inside of the home is immaculate and provided everything you could possibly need. The love and care that has gone into this home, definitely make it feel like a perfect home away from home for your stay. The outside property is gorgeous and very well taken care of. We enjoyed the stunning location on the lake and how peaceful it was. The kids had so much fun on the trampoline and in the paddle boat. The sandy beach was an ideal play area for our toddlers. The hosts are very accessible and went above and beyond for us, we could not be more thankful for what wonderfully kind people you are. We hope to be back soon.
