Earlier this month my wife and 7 kids and I stayed six nights at this place for our summer vacation. Nice place with room for everybody, and Skip even found us a DVD player so we could watch a movie. We went out to Gatlinburg and the Smokies, and there's a nice little church around the corner that we went to on Sunday. We'd be happy to stay here again.
Perfect place that is close enough to Knoxville, Sevierville, Smoky Mountain National Park and everywhere else we traveled during our trip. Loved the old time feel of the place. Would definitely book again
This farm house is beautiful and very roomy. Kitchen is amazing! They have various appliances that we appreciated very much. Yard was big enough for the kids to hang out in during the evenings, even had corn hole boards. Upstairs has its own thermostat and air conditioning. No tv's in any of the bedrooms so if you have tablets or something I would recommend bringing them. Doug got back ahold of us very quickly, and the maintenance man helped us with an issue as well. I would come back to this house again!
This spot was the perfect distance to travel into Knoxville for UTâs graduation. It had the perfect yard for playing yard games and hosting family that traveled from Johnson City and northern Georgia.
My family ranging from 11 year old to 81 year old stayed here for my daughters wedding in Knoxville. Beautiful clean old farm home. Very charming and great hosts. Worked awesome for us! Thank you!
I would definitely indicate in listing the steep steps to upstairs. Also include the black fence around property to make it easier to find in the dark and enter through the gate. We enjoyed the space and country feel.
Really loved the farmhouse vibe. Reminded me of my youth on the dairy farm. Fenced yard for my puppers. Centrally located between all the stores and sites but far enough for the silence and privacy.
The house was beautiful and perfect for our trip. We have family that lives within 5 miles of this property and we were able to host them for family time and games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
We loved the farmhouse!! Beautifully remodeled. You can't see pictures of the kitchen but it is beautiful...large open concept, large island and room for cooking. The enclosed backyard was perfect for our dogs. We were especially attracted to the 6 foot wooden fence as our dogs are runners and this kept them secured with room to play. Perfect location to be away from busy tourist attractions yet quick drive to anything you need. Loved all the surrounding farms with cows, goats, etc. Highly recommend!! Also recommend checking out The Bridge Coffee House & Cafe just a few minutes drive.
The owner and property manager were fantastic. The AC unit was not working for the upstairs so they provided a window unit prior to the rest of my family arriving ensuring that they had a comfortable stay that night and had the AC unit repaired by the following morning. At one point, our little dog got out and the property manager was kind enough to hunt him down for us and make sure that he was safe. Could not have asked for anything better. We requested to extend our stay and it was granted and they just did everything that we needed. My only concern was the listing is for disabled. There wasnât a ramp from the deck to the front door, which made the transition slightly difficult, but not undoable. Also, there were no safety bars in the bathroom. Other than that, we could not have asked for a better stay. The house is over 100 years old and has its quirks, but that just adds to the charm. The owner has remodeled the downstairs completely so that entrance and exit to all of the rooms on the first floor were easily accessible by my husband, who is wheelchair bound. The comfort of the sleeping situation and living kitchen was perfect. Everything was outstanding.
We enjoyed our stay at the farm house. It was just perfect for our family. We especially liked the updated kitchen. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Perfect location to everything pigeon forge and Knoxville offers. Very roomy for our group 6 adults and 4 kids with 2 dogs. Loved the front porch! Loved the privacy fence around the whole property. You wonât go wrong by staying here.
Beautiful farmhouse. Very clean and the owners were so kind every time we messaged. We had a large group for college graduation and we had plenty of space. We will rent again. Thank you for such a great experience.
Our family (my husband & three daughters (12-18 years old) stayed while visiting Great Smoky Mountains NP. Very spacious - girls loved having their own bedrooms (note: two of the beds upstairs are in rooms without doors⊠that didnât bother us at all). The stairs are a little steeper and narrow compared to most, and again, not a problem for our family. We loved having the 2 1/2 bathrooms. The kitchen and living space was also spacious and comfortable for a family of five. Table comfortably seats 5 and the island has 4 barstools. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer worked great. Large pantry. The porch space was also nice - enjoyed the bench swing in the mornings. The manager was very responsive after we found mouse droppings on the kitchen and pantry counters. He got us mouse traps and after catching one mouse that night, we didnât see any new droppings. Later in our stay, we heard some sort of scratching noise at night coming from under the stairs, and we suspected a rat. Again, manager was responsive and set up a live trap. Ultimately we suspect it died either under stairs or in the crawl space under the house (based off odor we noticed during the last day of our stay). Location: about 45-60 minutes to drive into the national park itself (some of that owing to traffic in Pigeon Forge). Nearest EV charger is in Sevierville, about a 20 minute drive away. Parking on property includes covered carport.
I stayed with my family here and it was great we had 6 people and there was a lot of space. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Experience was 10/10 and would come again.
Perfect property. Handicap assessable, large kitchen and living area. Fenced in yard for dog. My family and I loved it. Owner and manager very friendly.
