Live a Little | 1 Mile to Wisp Resort + Activities

Centrally located, Live a Little puts the best of Deep Creek Lake within easy reach! This well-appointed townhome is within minutes from Wisp Resort, restaurants, shops, marinas, and more. Offering an open layout, spacious interior is ideal for getting together with family or friends. Unwind in the great room in front of the glowing gas fireplace while you watch your favorite shows on TV. Fully equipped, the kitchen has everything you need to make homestyle meals and late-night snacks. Everyone can eat together comfortably with a dining table for six and seating for three more at the breakfast bar. Upstairs, the roomy primary suite is furnished with a king bed and a TV. You will love having walk-out access to your own private balcony too. There is also a bedroom with a queen bed and TV on this level. All sleeping quarters are decorated with your comfort in mind. The lower level family room adds to your living space and is outfitted with a queen sleeper sofa. Spend a quiet evening at home watching TV followed by a dip in the bubbling hot tub that is right outside on the patio. Perfect for the kids, the bedroom on this floor has a duobunk along with a TV. Restaurants, mini golf, marinas, shops, ziplines and more are within a five-minute drive or less. Wisp Resort is right around the corner offering four seasons of fun! Experience skiing, golf, snow tubing, the mountain coaster, disc golf, escape games and much more. On top of the mountain, the Adventure Sports Center is home to white water rafting thrills on their man-made river. For a more leisurely experience, you can take a guided family float on the Savage River Reservoir with All Earth Eco Tours. This flat-water kayak tour is a great photo opportunity, and you are sure to see lots of wildlife. Area state parks are brimming with activities for every age and interest. Miles of hiking trails, sandy beaches for swimming, canoe rentals, cross country skiing and fishing are just a few ways to enjoy our public lands. Live a Little is the ideal starting point for a great Deep Creek Lake vacation!

I was very impressed with the amount of space and comfort at this unit. I slept in the master bedroom and the bed had a very nice gel topper that was very comfortable. Everything was in great working order and the property was well maintained and very clean. We loved having use of the hot tub that was clean and up to temperature when we arrived.

This home is very close to the grocery store and the many amenities that deep creek has to offer. We were impressed with the well stocked kitchen. Great place to stay

Great for WISP skiing

Great property! Right around the corner from WISP. Plenty of space for our group (4 adults and 3 kids).

My dogs loved sitting on the main floor balcony and enjoying the outside. We had a great time. Perfect set up. Only complaint is basement was musty, so my child with asthema had issues day 2. A humidifier could fix this issue. Will stay again, just have that child upstairs.

Great location and lovely property

We had a great time at Live a Little. The location is excellent for a winter ski vacation, convenient to restaurants and Wisp. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. One of the better stocked kitchens out of the many houses we've stayed at in our travels.

Can’t get much closer!

Two rental places in walking distance, and you can see the entrance to Wisp. A perfectly comfortable place to rest when done skiing

Weekend Getaway

Such an easy process as far as booking, check-in, and check-out. The place was clean and neat! Rooms were spacious and I loved that there was a bathroom on each floor. Hot tub was clean and operated fine. Would definitely use this company again!

Good: Check in and out was super easy. The kitchen was well equipped, and the layout with the bathroom on every level was very nice.Bad: Unfortunately, there were several things in need of repair when we arrived. The toilet paper holder was broken. The kitchen table was extremely wobbly and the ice machine did not work. We reached out to Taylor made and no one ever responded. We didn’t have ice the entire week. Also the beds were extremely uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.

Relaxing and fun weekend getaway

Property location is perfect, close to everything, quiet spot, and surprisingly private. We brought our sport bikes and enjoyed all the winding roads and beautiful sites. The home is nicely decorated, fully equipped, and extremely comfortable for young couples, friends, and family. The hot tub was excellent, although it needs a couple of upgrades, some of the head rests were gone or completely worn out. The left side of the hot tub would benefit from a privacy shade. The main bedroom TV needs to be upgraded to a smart TV. Property management was extremely responsive and cordial to all of our needs including sending a tech to refresh the hot tub water. We are looking forward to come back in the winter.
