The Freetown Flat is a new architectural marvel and possibly the coolest Air BNB on the market. Constructed in the heart of Lafayette between the airport, university, and downtown. You are within walking distance of restaurants, shops, art, & live music! The Flat is packed with tons of natural light, stainless steel appliances, and a massive second-floor balcony with tons of lights. It's open design and granite countertops will make you feel right at home in the kitchen, living room & bedrooms.

Spot on!

What a perfect property to stay at. The location is outstanding. You are less than 10 minutes from every point of interest you would really want to do. The information packet they have for the flat gives you some ideas of places to go or eat. I fell in love with the interior design. Cheers!

Add on fees nearly half the cost of the booking

The property was as described. Great location and easy walk to the downtown area, restaurants, etc. Check in was easy and keyless. Not unique to this property but fee fatigue is real with booking through Vrbo. On top of paying a cleaning fee (even though we still need to strip beds, pile towels, empty garbage, etc) and a service fee, the listing requires a property damage protection fee…

Fantastic!

We were lucky enough to secure this little gem during Mardi gras and it was an excellent location. It was spotless, clean, and had everything we needed, and within walking distance to everything we needed.

Perfect Weekend Stay

Our family of four fit perfectly in this cute/cozy/perfectly-decorated flat. Great location- close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Plenty of space and very well-kept. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of linen. The games for the kids were a life-saver and the instruments were a nice, relaxing touch.

Beautiful Flat

The house was smaller than expected but very nicely kept and the owner was very responsive and accommodating to any questions or issues. The house is right off campus and is a quick drive to anything you might need. The beds could be upgraded to a higher quality mattress with a proper frame and box spring system. The wooden box frame and average quality mattress did not provide the best nights sleep. Additionally, due to the style of the bed frame and small size of the rooms, I managed to knock my shin on the corner several times. This is really the only upgrade I would recommend, again the place was nicely done and had very good customer service.

This cute place was VERY neat & clean! We loved sitting oit on the deck visiting. It was close to all the places we wanted visit. We would recommend it highly!

It was very clean, well stocked everything you needed they had, and really enjoyed the patio.

One thing I can say was I think something was wrong with the wifi, but other than that I couldn't complain. Anything you needed they had, it was very clean and is a well taken care of property.

The accommodations and to say the least the location was the best you could ever want.

Place was very nice, just like photo. Very inviting. The flavor of the neighborhood kept us entertained and wishing we were not so passed our college years.

They’ve really done an awesome job with this property. Everything is nice and updated, and we also enjoyed the location for walking around and seeing Lafayette. A very kind and helpful host as well. Strongly recommend staying here.

Fantastically Fashionable Freetown Flat

Outstanding property in a great location of Lafayette. Close to the school and downtown restaurants and bars. The unit is new, modern, extremely comfortable and relaxing. Owner is the picture of Louisiana friendly and pure hospitality. Highly recommend when in the area stay here and visit the University, sites and local history and enjoy the outrageously good food! We shall return!

Hey I am the owner of the Freetown Flat! I am a local Realtor and outdoor enthusiast. I wanted to create an amazing space that my guests, friends, and family would love. This is what we came up with I hope you like it! I have way too many hobbies...I am a licensed skydiver, soccer player, snowboarder, hunter, dirtbike rider, boater, longboarder, cyclist, runner. You name it I probably do it. I love to travel and hope you enjoy my city!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property was a dream of mine from a decade ago. I was finally able to build it in the spring of 2020 from the ground up! I wanted to build something that was unique, maximized the space, and felt like home for all of my friends and family and guests.
