gorgeous property, super cute house!

We stayed here for a long weekend during a family reunion and it was great. Definitely the right size for a couple. Loved strolling the grounds near the Vermilion and bird watching in all the beautiful trees. The house itself was well appointed with everything we needed. It was 21 degrees while we were there, so we especially appreciated the space heaters. Hosts were communicative and helpful. Would totally stay here again.

Wonderful stay at Azalea Cottage

This was a very comfortable and clean place for the 2 of us. Very convenient to all that Lafayette and the surrounding area has to offer. It was great having outside space right on the bayou to enjoy. Would definitely stay there again!

A lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting.

A lovely and we’ll-equipped little cottage in a park-like setting was comfortable and convenient to every place we wanted to visit in the area. Perfect for a couple’s get-away.

The only place you need to stay in Lafayette

I'm from the area and was so pleasantly surprised that this place existed. Every single detail was covered and the property owner/manager was communicative and helpful. Don't waste your time and money staying anywhere else.

The Perfect Hidden Getaway

This little cottage was the perfect little getaway spot for my wife and I, on her birthday. We only stayed one night but it was well worth it.

A little country in the city

Our stay in the Azalea house was quite pleasant. The house was just the right size for 2. We enjoyed sitting out on the little porch watching the squirrels. Also enjoyed the swing on the property overlooking the bayou. Lots of trees in the property made it feel like we were out in the country. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful retreat on a bayou.

Sweet little cottage perfect for 1-2 people. Lovely claw foot bathtub to take a hot bubble bath in. Fully stocked kitchen to cook in if you are so inclined. The grounds were lovely to explore and plenty of outdoor seating places. 10/10 would stay here again.

Really nice place to stay. In an excellent location to allow for short drive times to get to many restaurants and shopping areas. Walmart within 2 miles. Easy access to Hwy 90 the throughway of Lafayette. Owner had ice ready for use in the freezer; enjoyed this for our cocktail hour! Really comfortable bed. Perfect for a couple. Stayed 3 nights. Best place to stay in Lafayette, LA.

This one-of-a-kind property is surrounded by trees and other beauties of nature, and makes you feel like you’ve left the city limits of Lafayette. You will not want to miss out on hanging a hammock in the trees and enjoying (or falling asleep to!) the soothing sounds of nature surrounding you; or roasting marshmallows in the fire pit for s’mores after you’ve cooked up some good ole' Cajun food on the BBQ pit; or walking to the edge of the property where you’ll find a wrought-iron swing to watch the sunset on the water.
