One of a kind location in quite residential neighborhood overlooking the ocean. One of the best views in the area. Spacious 1 bedroom ocean view suite with full kitchen and 1st floor separate entrance: no stairs to take! Around 75 ft-100 ft. above sea level in vintage, rustic Hideaway Ocean Suites Motel, away from the busy street, nestled in quite, residential neighborhood. It's not upscale brand new property, but clean and the view and location will sweep you away. Short walk to the beach (5-10 min) or very short drive on the same road: free parking and bathrooms at Canyon dr. ocean front park. Fly kite, watch wales, collect agats, stroll, bike, jog, walk, make a bonfire.

The view is amazing, and the location is very close to the beach, which was a big plus. However, the unit was not very clean. The towels were old and had a strange smell, and although the bedding looked okay, it also had an unpleasant odor. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. We found hair on the vanity, and the fridge was dirty as well, with dirt and hair inside.Overall, it’s a great space with a lot of potential, but it definitely needs better cleaning and more care.

Didn't get address until I was on my way thereDirections couldn't find tried host for help and never heard from themMy unit was on bottom of building surrounded by 10 ft high chain link fence because that side of road sunk down 75 feet into ravine In otherwords I'm on a cliff. Pictures taken were nice on Vrbo but not what it looked like.A 3 inch step inside of unit to bedroom and bathroom is invisabe.Mold around bottom of shower and floor.The cadet heater was so loud and noisy couldn't hear ocean.the chair to sit on takes u to the floor as well as the couch. Not same as in pictue on wedsiteI left belongings in car slept on floor and left at daylite.

This is an excellent property. Having a kitchen allowed us the freedom of cooking, and takeout right on the hwy. Clean and quiet, well stocked. Comfy bed two couches and wifi! I know we will be back for many stays.😀

Thank you so much, this was an amazing unit. Can’t wait to come back! Local wildlife, doe and fawn supervised our check in and seagulls and 2 chicks on the roof next door provided hours of entertainment.

New owners are slowly trying to fix the units up. Nice people. Enjoyed the privacy away from traffic. Good location to everything in Lincoln City.

Great location. The place was clean but found dog kibble on the floor. Went to make coffee and the old grounds still in it. People up stairs walked heave all ninight.

It’s ok

Overall this property was decent for the price. It could use some updating and definitely more attention paid to cleaning. However, the location was nice and the view was also wonderful. We did have issues with rodents getting in and into our food the last night we were there. The manager did not seem surprised by this and made it sound like it was a pretty regular occurrence. Maybe the upper rooms don’t have this issue. The manager was very responsive to communication though, which is greatly appreciated.

Great little cozy spot

We've stayed at the Hideaway before, but not in this unit. It's clean, cozy and quiet. Not luxurious and high-end, but homey. My only complaints are: 1. The gray sofa seriously needs to be replaced. It sinks on one end, where the view of the ocean is the best. The other sofa is comfy, though. 2. No can opener.

Would stay again if they bug bomb the place

The property itself was as advertised. Very close to the ocean, great views and close to everything in Lincoln City. However there was a major fly problem in the unit. Upon arriving I killed 15 flys in the first hour. Flys coming out of vents and from the walls. Management was helpful but wasn't really anything they could do. Over the course of our stay I killed over 35 flys and had to basically give up on getting them all. Was daily disgusting seeing this.

Nice location

Was not as expected. Did not receive instructions on how to check in and ended up in wrong room, had to move. Ended up downstairs in a fairly nice room. TV did not work and could not get password for wireless. Called on site manager number for help 4 time over several hours and got no response. All in all a fair stay, but disappointed.

Misrepresented, old and dirty

Photo does not match the view we had. Our unit was next to a boarded up house with gravel parking and NO BEACH ACCESS. As a downstairs unit, we had people making noise above us. We had: no shampoo, no soap in the shower, towels that were awful and bedding that was very old. There is black mold on the vents.

Hello Kathleen! We disagree that the unit was dirty. We clean it very thoroughly, but we are not brand new and we are not misrepresenting the property. There was certainly no mold on vents or anywhere else. We wash towels and bedding and dispose of older sheets and towels as they become too worn, but there may have been a discolored one put in your room, which we probably got rid of already. We are sorry you did not like the property.
