This condo was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! It’s updated and the beds were very comfortable! Everything was very clean. Loved the two balconies. The parking is great and its location is super easy to get in and out of.

The condo was very spacious and worked well for our family of 10. A washer/dryer in the unit would have been nice and the king beds were hard but otherwise the condo met all our needs.

Perfect location! Large, clean, comfortable condo! The layout of the condo was very accommodating for our families. One oddity we learned after night two - the ceiling fans in the two main bedrooms are on the same remote control circuit and we were battling one another for fan/light until we figured out what was going on. There were a couple minor issues with the elevator during the week we were there and twice we found ourselves lugging a baby and our gear up/down 5 flights of stairs on the hot August days which was a mild inconvenience. Also to mention, that although the pool and/or beach is a short walk away, it does involve some stairs (around the pool) so a beach wagon filled with baby and beach gear would not have been manageable if not for the strong men in our group. It was not a deal breaker but is worth a mention when planning daily beach trips. The location is great with lots of fun, food and shopping to explore. We will definitely consider a repeat to this condo when planning future family vacations.

Great Beach Experience

Even though there was a hurricane in south Florida we were blessed with awesome weather on Okaloosa Island! Very pleased with the rental, the pool and great Beach access!

Excellent location! Everything was perfect. Condo had everything we needed. It even has a washer and dryer which isnt listed in the amenities. Perfect for our fam of 9. Will definitely be back!

Bachelorette Weekend

Highly recommend staying here, the pictures do not do it justice. Tons of room, great location, easy check in/check out. Came for a bachelorette weekend with 8 girls and we all slept comfortably and had no problems getting ready between the two baths. Very quick walk to the beach.

Perfect location- hassle

We love staying on okaloosa island. This property is located right in the middle on the beach side. We love going walking through the neighborhoods in the mornings to get our exercise in. It’s conveniently located in proximity to Destin where it’s just a short drive over to enjoy good night entertainment and restaurants but don’t sleep on downtown ft Walton either.

Beautiful getaway!

Gorgeous area. Everything just as listed. Quick contact back. Great location and nice quiet section of the beach. 2 families stayed here and we all had a great time. The bunk bed room was perfect for the children to all share and be together. Beautiful views from the balcony. Close to everything but yet away from all the hustle and bustle that comes with vacation areas. Will definitely be back.

Great place to stay for a bigger family.

The condo was well furnished and exactly as pictured. We had 4 adults and 3 older teenagers and there was plenty of space. Complex is on the ocean but unit is just ocean view from patio. So the balcony looks over the tennis courts we read the description so knew this and it was fine there was a great ocean breeze on the 5th floor. The management was very responsive to questions and needs. We were very pleased with our stay and I would recommend it for larger families. Beach was beautiful!

Wonderful rental

This is a beautifully renovated condo. Two master suites and the bunk room with 4 beds provided plenty of room for our family. The unit is very clean and well-stocked with basic needs for a week-long stay. The description doesn't specify so I overlooked the fact that there isn't a washer/dryer in the unit. There is a coin-operated laundry on the same floor and convenient to the unit. We would rent this unit again!

Stay

The condo is nice. Basic cleaning. Fixtures and baseboards dirty. The building is gulf side but the condos are not oceanfront or views. Also, we planned to use the pull out couch but were not able to since there were no sheets and after contacting the management they didn’t care to make sure we got them so, plan on one less bed then they state is available.

Now! Now! Why are you carrying on like this? I sent the sleeper sofa sheets right away. This condo is not marketed as full Gulf-front...the resort sits right on the beach however. Please come back to stay again. Pinkie:)))

It was great. I suggest bringing more towels. The washer and dryer is not in the room and you have to pay 1.75 for washing and drying your clothes. The comforter and sheets could’ve been cleaner. They comforter was stained I took it off and used a blanket we had in the car. I would not stay here again just because there is not washer and dryer in the room. You only get 2 garbage bags so bring extra

Thank you for coming...yes this resort has the washer/dryers in the hall..outside of the unit. We have some fresh new comforters here also. All of the units come with a starter set of basics...depending on length of stay you may need more. Pinkie:))

Great place for a large family

Our stay at Emerald Isle was great. This was my first time using vrbo. The credit card fees are 3%. If we stay at Emerald Isle again, I will try to book directly through them so I won’t be charged vrbo fees. The pictures of this condo do not do it justice. It’s 2 condos put together and it’s HUGE! The floors and one of the beds had sand on them. It’s expected because it’s on the beach, but housekeeping should have done a better job cleaning them and washing the comforters. Everything else was clean except for some scuff marks on the white walls. We did get stuck in the elevator for about 10 minutes. We used the call button in the elevator to call for help and they got us out pretty quick. The elevator was slow and could be upgraded.
