Nice home (note for folks with kids)

This is a well maintained home that makes a good home base for the Mystic area and has a nice outdoor space. Kitchen was easy to work in and had most everything we needed for basic cooking. The host was also easy to communicate with. We were a party of six (five adults one child) and found the space a little tight when we were all in the house at the same time for an extended length of time--but even so, it wasn't too bad. I think this house would would work best if the weather is nice (not winter), you will spend most of your time not in the house, or have a smaller group than we did. Note for folks traveling with kids--the property is not particularly kid friendly (e.g., white rug under the dining room table), but it will work fine for many kids (it worked fine for us). YMMV. Our group included a younger elementary-aged child. When we checked in we slightly concerned about some of the decorative items in home--if we stay here again I would ask the host if they could remove some of the larger decorative items off the tables/dressers before we arrive. That said, the mostly fenced-in backyard is a great size and terrain for kids to run around and explore (the yard is not fenced in between the front and back yards). There are also a few standard playgrounds in walking distance and the surrounding neighborhood is pleasant to walk through.

Our pleasure

It was such a pleasure to stay here. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Our host was so accommodating. All questions were answered almost immediately. This house feels like a home. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and conveniently located. There are many attractions close by. It is truly a gem and perfect for any season. You will not be disappointed.

Girls weekend

We came to mystic for the first time, and Tasha's property was amazing! The house was stunning, and close to everything . Tasha responded quickly to any questions we had and check in was so easy. Beds were comfy and back yard and deck area beautiful! We had a group of five and it was so comfortable and relaxing. This was my first expierence using a vrbo and could not have been happier. The ladies are already discussing coming back!

Was a beautiful maintained home with lots of room for spreading out. It was a great location too.

Tasha was very easy to communicate with and super helpful. The house felt private and central to everything. The fire pit was perfect for smores and we all really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful getaway!

A lovely house with a spacious backyard close to downtown Mystic. Our group of five loved the comfortable furniture and open kitchen. Each message to the owner was promptly answered. A great find!

Perfect Place in Mystic

We loved our stay here. We stayed for nearly a full week. The house was just perfect. The location is quiet and relaxing. The backyard was great, complete with bbq and fire pit. We had everything we needed for a magical Mystic time. Will come again.

Mystic seaport trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had two couples in our 70s. The only thing we had to work around was the fact that their was only one shower. We used the grill every night for our supper and that was a plus. Thank you for a wonderful stay!😊

Great weekend getaway

This house is beautiful and very clean. The location is so convenient to downtown Mystic which was why we visited. Tasha is a great host who was there when we needed help or had questions. She is very nice too! All of the rooms are awesome, but the living room is especially lovely with the light it receives! We enjoyed our stay.

Mystic magic

This house is immaculate and has a wonderful layout. The backyard is gorgeous and I loved both the deck and the pergola. The location in southeastern Connecticut is great for visiting many of the wonderful things in the state

Perfect location.

This charming house is located at just the right spot. It's about a 10 minute drive to anywhere (beach, town, museums etc.) The house is darling. It's well decorated and comfortable. Overall a great stay.

Wonderful stay - perfect location

We stayed here in Sept 2021, family of 4 with two small kids. The property was perfect for us- well appointed, clean and great space. I had initially booked a hotel but ended up canceling it and booking this home instead and I am so happy I did. Check in- very easy, quick communication and no issues. Love that there was no key and a key pad to gain entry. Location- very closet to historic mystic and a quick ride to everywhere else we wanted to explore. One review mentioned that the location was noisy but clearly that was written by someone that lives off the beaten path with no neighbors. It was quiet! We are urban and use to noise but really it was quiet! House- two bedrooms with queen beds, nice big kitchen (which was the main reason we booked a house and not a hotel), gorgeous yard and deck which we did not use and a nice little TV area. Everything was new and in great condition. We will 100% come back again.

Beautiful home away from home

Very clean and comfortable! The beds were great. Spent some wonderful family time playing cards on the back deck. Close enough to everything but just far enough away to get a break from the hustle and bustle. The host was very nice and informative. 10/10 would choose this home to stay in again.

Super close to Mystic, clean, huge back yard/grill

We stayed here for 3 nights when visiting my in-laws in Stonington. This house doesn't have a ton of frills, but did exactly what we needed it to do - was super clean, as described, and took us under 5 minutes to get to downtown Mystic. Huge back yard with grill and gazebo that we didn't use, and a nice back deck to drink your coffee on. Bedrooms were tight and could use side tables to put your glasses/phone/glass of water down on, and one full bathroom for 5 people got a little busy, but we knew this going in (just something to consider if you have 4+ people staying there). Owner was very responsive to the questions we had. Thanks for hosting us!

Friend’s weekend

A few friends and I stayed for our annual get together. The house was located close to the down town in a quiet neighborhood. The house was cozy and we really enjoyed relaxing outside at the fire pit.
