Tout est question d'emplacement! Cette maison de vacances de trois chambres est située à Pleasure Beach avec un accès direct au détroit de Long Island. La maison Reed dispose de son propre quai privé avec trois kayaks disponibles pour une utilisation complète. La maison Reed dispose d'une terrasse surélevée de 10'x44 'surplombant Jordan Cove avec de magnifiques couchers de soleil. La maison Reed dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert avec deux bains, foyer au gaz, air central, laveuse / sécheuse et lave-vaisselle. Cette maison de vacances peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes.

Trip to visit family in Connecticut

Very nice and comfortable stay. Easy walk to Pleasant Beach and boat launch. The kids had a blast getting blue crabs right off the back of the property. We all loved sitting on the back deck having our morning cup of coffee.

Mother/Daughter weekend

We loved the home and location. It was the perfect place to hunker down for the weekend. The gas fireplace made our stay warm and cozy. The views of the water and wildlife were relaxing as we had our mother/daughter time together.

relaxing stay with picturesque scenery

We booked this house for early September, the weather was still very warm with cool mornings and nights. Three of the four morning we stayed a bald eagle landed right outside during low tide. Very close to Niantic with great food, shops, parks, and beaches. the parks in Conn are great for little or adults, there is a rich history with many monuments throughout. The house was very accommodating, anything you would bring to the beach is supplied for you. Garon the house manager was also very helpful in suggestion of dinning and making sure everything was great. Would suggest this house to anyone!

Beautiful and comfortable home!

Our stay was great, I booked this last minute as our previous booking fell through 1 day before our stay. We got lucky! This house was better than where we originally planned on staying. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and everything needed. The views are beautiful! We were so thrilled with this visit and would love to come back

Perfect Waterfront Getaway

We normally stay in Niantic for spur of the moment weekend getaways, but decided to go for a waterfront property this time. The house was immaculate, plenty of room, and steps away from a small beach. Sunsets were beautiful, and the whole stay was exactly what we needed to recharge. Garon was friendly, available, and attentive. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay

I have rented numerous homes along the coast of CT. This was one of the best. The house has a great floor plan and there is ample parking rarely found at beach properties (Garage space and room for up to 5 more normal size cars if you block in the garage). The rear deck is huge. The kitchen is large and well configured There is a dock to launch the kyaks. Although there is not directly beach front, you just walk to the left of the property and you are out on a small beach that no one else really uses and is awesome or walk 5 minutes to the big beach. The property manager is very responsive and the reservation process is easy. I highly recommend it.

Perfect location for children!!

This house is perfect for families. The beach is very clean and is shallow enough for younger children to play safely. The yard is also large enough to play lawn games. There's enough room inside and outdoors for everyone to be together but also have room. The house was clean and is very inviting! The owners also respond very quickly and are very helpful when it comes to places to eat and visit during your stay. I would definitely recommend coming here and I look forward to staying again in the future!!

Lovely Getaway Spot

Great for kids - my 2 and 4 year old really enjoyed playing on the private beach (entrance is the next driveway over). The water is shallow and when it was low tide, they could walk out onto the sand bars and explore. The house was clean and had great views. Garon was a responsive host. We would definitely return. Thank you!

The Reed House

The home was everything and more in what everyone was expecting! All the rooms are spacious & decorated beautifully; and it was very warm and welcoming! It felt like being in a home away from home! There was plenty of room for the 6 family members who were there to attend the Graduation week at the Coast Guard Academy; which was only 6.8 miles away. The view was beautiful and so peaceful! The owner Garon was very nice, easy to reach if needed, and with quick responses. The only downside found, was no coffee or coffee filters, which could be a tad inconvenient for people arriving on flights late at night. Our family says thank you very much for everything, and we highly recommend this home to anyone who needs a lovely home away from home to stay in while in Waterford CT. Relaxing Labor Day weekend with breathtaking views of Jordan Cove.

Garon, was very accommodating to our families needs. Always responded promptly to any questions or concerns that I had. Top notch Host. Would definitely rent again, next time we're in Connecticut. The home is very beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and very clean! The family cooks really loved the spacious kitchen. They were very impressed with the knife set. :) I loved the awesome view from the kitchen sink. The views of Jordan Cove were breathtaking. So cool to watch the tide roll in and out. The locals frequent the small beach along the sandbar. Seems to be a favorite. We saw several people fishing, kayaking, clamming, just hanging out. The water is shallow, so several people brought their dogs out to play along the sand bar. It was fun to watch. As we sat, cozy, on the deck, with all the comforts of home. Amazing weekend. Great property, lovely neighborhood, walking distance to Pleasure beach you can’t ask for more. From the swans to the New England Cottontail we had a great time without leaving the porch.

A nice family vacation

Overall we had a great family vacation. The house was set up perfectly and had a majority of the stuff we needed. The tv room downstairs was great for older kids that needed some space. Only minor complaint was the 2nd bedroom bed was a little uncomfortable. The beach access was just the next lot. It was great during low tide. The kids enjoyed exploring. Only issues were people bringing their dogs without a leash and there were posts in the water. Pleasure beach access was a 3 minute walk but that was to the private section. The public section was smaller and there was no parking.

Offset from this property is a public beach access known as kiddie beach. This area is a great place to fish for striped bass and shellfishing. A three-minute walk from the house is a small grocery store where you can pick up great sandwiches last minute items, and shellfishing permits from Jordan Cove. There are seasonal fireworks along with seasonal festivals in neighboring Niantic and New London. There is a public access boat launch approximately 500 yards away.
