Red Hawk Landing, cozy house in the heart of Ripon College Campus.
Quiet house in historic district of Ripon. Located 3 blocks from down town Ripon shops, parks and conveniently located across from campus and a block from all Red Hawk sporting events. Spacious yard is perfect for relaxing or grilling out. Sleeps 10 with full dining room and quiet study for reading or enjoying your morning coffee. Off street parking for two vehicles.
The home was spotless and close to the shops and restaurants downtown as well as many other places. Loved being able to sit outside and make a fire. We had everything we needed and will be back.
Well cared for and clean, older house. We only used it for sleeping, but with 8 adults, we were surprised that there was only one bathroom. Temps outside were 85-90 degrees and air conditioning was inadequate upstairs.
Wonderful location. Be sure to warn people about steepness of stairs to bedrooms upstairs. Need wastebaskets upstairs. Clean. Parking needs to be leveled out. From description thought, queen bedroom was on 1st floor. Would stay again. Was very nice to have homemade cookies & stuff for s'mores!!
What an ideal location for move in day. The house was beautiful and the property manager was accommodation. The spacious three bedrooms, the outside hammock and the reading room was was exactly what we needed.
We had a wonderful stay at Red Hawk Landing while in Ripon! The home has all the necessities and more! Everything is clean and organized, the beds were comfy, towels were nice, the kitchen had all of the necessities, and the living room was comfortable and relaxing. The communication we had with the owner was quick and great! We will stay here again and highly recommend it!
Thanks for having the perfect location for our Ripon V
College reunion! Walking distance to all our activities and a nice cool air conditioned spot to hang out. The house was exactly what we needed. Thanks Rebecca! I would definitely stay here again
We stayed at this sweet house during the EAA air show in Oshkosh, and it turned out to be a great home base! Walking distance to town, on a shady street⊠our only issue was the lighting, bring extension cords for the table lamps, most of which are not near the few wall outlets. ;)
We came to Ripon for our daughter's wedding and had her siblings stay with us. Our host was so kind to give the bride, my daughter a card and bottle of wine for them. Also my grandson loved the smores.
We decided last minute to meet up with family in Green Lake and are so glad Red Hawk Landing was available. The house is situated on a quiet street directly in the Ripon College campus only a few blocks from town. Cute rehab in convenient location in a great little town at a very reasonable price. Rebecca was a great hostâeasy check in, house was clean and smelled good. Loved the cookies waiting for us. Nice touch. Highly recommend staying at Red Hawk Landing.
The homemade cookies were a great welcome!! The decor was super sweet!! Vintage, comfortable, and quiet! We were gifted with a sâmores package - enough for our family. The shower water was hot! Dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen/cooking necessities were provided. Communication was fast and concise. Overall an excellent property.
Older house recently remodeled. Across the street from campus at a very reasonable price. Cookies waiting when we arrived.
1 bathroom on first floor at opposite end of house from a steep stairway to second floor where the bedrooms are located.
Despite that, we will stay again!
We stayed here for a few days over the 4th of July and found it comfortable. We didnât spend much time at the house as we were with family in the area, but it fit our needs. There is only one bathroom which is on the main floor and the stairs are fairly steep. This is typical for an older home, but wanted to let others know. Our 3 year old granddaughter navigated them ok, but would worry about younger toddlers. There is a baby gate available which may be needed. The neighborhood is quiet (we were here in the summer and I donât know if that changes during the school year.)
Our hosts were responsive when I had a question about the WiFi and we were greeted with freshly baked cookies and sâmore fixings which was a nice gesture.
House was very comfortable
and kept us warm in sub zero weather! We enjoyed a Christmas meal with family. Was perfect for our holiday vacation with family.
We only spent one night at the house but thoroughly enjoyed it. From the cookies waiting for us when we arrived, to the clean and welcoming house it was great. The best part was the fire pit and wood In the backyard surrounded by some great wood seating. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!
