Renovated coach house nestled on a private road. Rental has everything you might need for a great vacation stay! 1.1 miles to public beach on beautiful Green Lake. Close to multiple boat launches. Excellent fishing! Visit the famous Princeton Flea Market. Many attractions and great restaurants nearby in Green Lake, Princeton, and Ripon.
Inside of the house was clean, well maintained, and stocked as indicated on the website. The outside area was well care after and the fire pit was nice to be able to sit around in the evenings. The only downside was the outdoor grill needed maintenance. Overall an excellent place to stay.
We really enjoyed our time at this cute little place. Green Lake is delightful and we loved having this house as our home base. Perfect for us and our two kids.
Great place to stay. The house was comfortable and well equipped. Landlord was very responsive with any requests and very helpful. I would stay here again anytime. Wish there were more properties like this in the network! Thanks for helping make a great week!
This is a clean, newly decorated, wooded apartment with all convenient accessories. Our family cabin was full for the 4th of July weekend, so we sent overflow guests (30 somethings) to this rental and they loved the comfort away from the chaos of the rest of the family. There is a nice deck off the living room and a fire pit on the lawn with nice chairs. I would highly recommend for a group of golfers or just anyone looking to enjoy the Green Lake area. We hope to rent there again.
Every year my wife and I go somewhere for our anniversary. She picked this one, which was something different than the cabin in the woods stays we've done. We really didn't spend a lot of time there as we were always out and about. The house was clean and there were all the kitchen necessities if you need to do some cooking (we didn't ). Very quiet area so you will get a good nights sleep. We were even able to watch some deer from out of the back window that were grazing in the yard. Be forewarned that there are stairs up to the living quarters. We got quite the workout lugging all our stuff up there. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay.
I love this property but access to the lake was limited. Yes, you can see the lake from the property but there is no direct access, and you are not directly on the lake.
Overall, the upstairs living space is beautiful, and the outdoor fire pit was perfect. We even had several deer visit us as we were cooking smores and playing bags. It was warm and comfortable. It was probably the most well stocked VRBO we have stayed in. Although, there is a garage under the living space, the rental does NOT include this. The actual location is tuck back in the woods, but neighbors are close.
Fishing: shoreline fishing on Green Lake was disappointing. There are several shoreline fishing locations but due to gross vegetation off the shoreline, fishing was poor. You need a boat for both Green Lake and Little Green Lake for good fishing since almost all the of the shoreline is privately owned. We did rent a boat and had a great day tubing and enjoying the lake.
Shopping: I enjoyed the Saturday Flea Market in Princeton and a few antique shops in Berlin. I did not see many shops in Green Lake. But did enjoy the ice cream at the fishing store.
Our stay was lovely!! The rental was immaculate, and it was well stocked of utensils and cooking supplies. Location was perfect and it fit our family of four perfectly!! The only thing I would say was that there was a smoke smell inside upon arriving to the rental. It took 24 hours for the smell to be eliminated. All in all it was fantastic, and we wouldnât hesitate to stay here in the future.
