ELEVATOR REPLACEMENT:
From April 22, 2024, all elevators at Waikiki Banyan will undergo complete replacement. Each tower will have 1 elevator replaced at a time. During this period, there will be 3 elevators in operation instead of 4, leading to potentially longer wait times. The project is anticipated to be completed by June 2025.

DECK RENOVATION NOTICE:
The building's recreation deck, including the pool and BBQ, will be closed for renovation starting April 7th, with work expected to continue for approximately one year. Rates have already been discounted accordingly to reflect the temporary loss of these amenities. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the building undergoes these improvements.***

THE BUILDING:
• There is a coffee shop on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1
• There is a convenience store on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1
• There is a coin machine on the ground floor next to the security office in Tower 2

HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Check-in: any time after 3:00 PM
Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM

Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we're unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you'd like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we'd suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.

HOUSEKEEPING:
Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.

The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

LINENS & TOWELS:
You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.

BEACH ESSENTIALS:
We've got beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella ready for you in the unit so you can enjoy some fun in the sun. If you'd like a beach mat or snorkeling gear, just let us know—we're happy to provide them upon request!

LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There are laundry rooms on each floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit. There is a coin change machine next to the lobby in Tower 2. Laundry room hours are from 8 am-10 pm daily.

TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor, next to the emergency exit.

Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses. Waikiki Banyan is a very good property. A small provisions store and coffee shop were very conveniently located in the lobby.The unit we stayed in was clean and bright and quiet with very nice views. The drawbacks were: air -conditiong vents couldn't be moved so we sometimes felt we were in a strong draft; could have used a comfy chair so we didn't all have to sit on the couch.With the first two complaints fixed - I would stay here again. (and can you fit in a dishwasher?

Property was nice, but hidden fees suck

Other than a small, strange, non-working bidet toilet seat, the property was flawless and had a fantastic view. Communication was prompt and effective.It was just the hidden fees and the immediate lock-in of the reservation. Those two things will keep me from using VRBO for business travel ever again.

A great place in a great location

Comfortable, quiet condo. Just like the photos. A 3ish block walk to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Really appreciated the sound reducing windows that shut out most of the street noise. The bed is soft with a hammock type feel. This was fine for me, but my husband didn’t like it. Would definitely stay there again!

This condo is exactly as pictured. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The view was spectacular and the location was convenient to everything. The free parking was also fantastic!! Would definitely stay here again!

Centered in heart of Honolulu, you’re surrounded by great restaurants and beautiful beaches! With our rental, we were able to visit so much of this beautiful island. We loved our stay. Condo was very comfortable and highly recommend! This listing is very accurate too!

Wonderful location

We so enjoyed our 10 days in Waikiki. The unit was perfect and just as described. The location was close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The trolley stopped in front of the Waikiki Hilton so that was very convenient. We definitely recommend this unit and Midway. Thank you for helping make this a memorable trip for my sister's birthday.

Great time in Honolulu

Nice unit, terrific view! Management was very helpful. The location is good - very close to the main Waikiki streets, but far enough away that foot traffic and noise outside the building are significantly less. Having a non-valet parking spot in the building is great too; it's easy to get in/out multiple times per day without worrying about costs. Just one note - be aware that it can sometimes take quite a while for an elevator with space available to arrive, especially during times of the day when lots of people are trying to go in/out. Not the unit's fault, just the way the building was built. So just make sure to plan on some extra time when using the elevators. Overall, all was great!

Very clean and nice location

The unit was very clean and everything was as pictured. The location is great (a short 3-4 minute walk to Waikiki Beach) and the free parking in the ramp is a great perk. To clarify, although there is a separate bedroom, it is an open doorway between the bedroom and the living area so there is not any privacy.

Noice

There was a loud noice I am assuming it’s water lines. I loud vibrating sound every few minutes and 24hrs a day. It kept us up at night. I reached out to the manager who said they would have someone look it. I don’t believe anyone came out. On day 3 they said they had the part and would put it in. They never did. We slept one night on the pull out couch. Finally we left the tv on to try and drown it out. It was very frustrating.
