Spectacular Home!

Once again, our stay at Thumb Butte Retreat was spectacular! We are so grateful to have found this home away from home. This was our second time staying here, and we were not disappointed.The breathtaking views continue to provide a serene and picturesque backdrop, making it the perfect getaway for relaxation and tranquility. During this visit, we were treated to the magical sight of falling snow, which added an extra layer of charm to the experience. The house remains impeccably maintained, with its spacious, inviting layout easily accommodating our family once again. Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Prescott, it offers just the right balance of seclusion and proximity to our son at ERAU and local attractions.The attention to detail in the house continues to impress. From the well-stocked kitchen equipped with all the essentials to the cozy living space complete with a fireplace. It’s evident that the owner and property manager have a passion for hospitality. Thoughtful touches throughout the home create a truly welcoming atmosphere.Sharon, the property manager, remains an absolute gem. Her responsiveness and helpfulness ensured our stay was seamless from start to finish, and we truly appreciate her dedication to her guests' comfort and satisfaction.In every way, this mountain home has consistently exceeded our expectations. We know we will return for future visits and wholeheartedly recommend it to others seeking a perfect retreat!

Family Arizona Adventure

Our stay at The Retreat at Thumb Butte was fabulous. The location of the house, the communication with Sharon, the cleanliness and comfort for all of us was top notch. We came to Arizona for a family vacation since our grown children and their spouses do not live close to us. We wanted a gathering place where we could prepare our own meals and relax together talk, and connect with one another.The Retreat at Thumb Butte was exactly what we were looking for.

Relaxation at it's finest! In the coziest home ever.

Immediately after entering home you feel like you're home! Its meticulously and detailed with with it's wam inviting decoration. They have left no stone unturned with home offerings in every room that guests may need. It was the quickest weekend I've had and wish we could've have stayed a week! We will be back!!

Absolutely Spectacular Retreat at Thumb Butte!

Our stay at this property was nothing short of amazing. The views from the home are absolutely breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop that was perfect for our relaxing trip. The house itself is gorgeous and immaculately maintained, with a spacious layout that easily accommodated our group. Nestled in a charming neighborhood in the mountains of Prescott, the location was exactly what we were looking for. It provided the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, allowing us to enjoy the tranquility of the mountains while still being close to our son at ERAU, and the local attractions. The house was equipped with everything one could possibly need. From a well-stocked kitchen to cozy bedding and thoughtful touches throughout, it was clear that the owner and property manager have put a lot of care into ensuring their guests have a wonderful stay. Additionally, Sharon, the property manager was fantastic. Responsive and helpful, she made sure that all our questions were answered promptly and our needs were met without a hitch. Overall, this mountain home exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cozy and inviting home

This was the perfect home for our weekend girl’s trip. The home is located in a beautiful community just minutes from downtown. It’s clean, comfortable and likely the most well stocked home we’ve ever stayed in. The decor feels professionally done with thoughtful added touches (loved the “light your way” birds throughout the house) Everything was efficient and easy from start to finish. We’ll definitely return for another girl’s trip and family trips as well!

Definitely a Retreat

We loved the Retreat at Thumb Butte. It felt like home. the place was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed. Sharon was wonderful and kept us updated on anything we might need. We'll definitely be back. This is one of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed at.

Fantastic house, and very responsive property manager.

This is a fantastic house, in a very nice neighborhood. Very spacious. Beautiful views. Very well maintained. You have everything you need (they really thought of everything). Sharon, the property manager is very responsive, and on-top of everything. The checkin/checkout process is simple as can be. If there was one minor complaint it would be that the main deck furniture is not very comfortable. It’s wicker. I would recommend the host replace it with something nicer. But really that’s just a very minor flaw. Everything else was amazing. I highly recommend this property!

The house was perfect, just as advertised. Great views and great location, minutes from town square. The house was clean and had everything you need. Sharon (host) was very responsive and checked in to see if we needed anything. We'll be coming back. you need.

Five Star Retreat

This beautiful home provided everything we needed for our five-day getaway to escape the heat. The home is nestled into a gorgeous and safe neighborhood with a park just around the corner from the house. The master bedroom and expansive bathroom were very comfortable. My friend stayed downstairs in the "apartment and enjoyed the walk out patio. Everything you could want is very close by including the Prescott courthouse, restaurants and cute boutiques. We went paddleboarding at Watson Lake and hiked the scenic trail around Lynx Lake followed by a nice paddle boat ride afterwards. I appreciated all streaming services that were available on the TV. One of the things that stands out most is the ease and timeliness when communicating with Sharon. From start to finish she was very accommodating and kind. I look forward to another stay at the Retreat at Thumb Butte.

Perfect location with lots of space!

Easy check in great communication. SO much space! perfect open layout for gathering. Loved the sunroom and balconies. Easy bike ride to a trail head. A quick drive downtown for restaurants. Could have stayed in and cooked but... Beds were very comfortable. We didn't make it to the waking distance tennis court; maybe next time :)

Comfortable home Beautiful views

The family really enjoyed being able to spread out, (especially the teens). The home was beautiful, and the location was perfect! Close enough to the stores, when needed and the Row when wanted :-) The Host was so accommodating, I can't thank her enough! Such a perfect getaway. Seeing the deer lay down from the kitchen window on our last morning was a perfect goodbye. We look forward to our next stay!

Easy and Enjoyable

Everything about this home was easy. Starting with very responsive interactions on accessibility for my older mom to the location, instructions, and layout. Perfect AZ room for a family dinner with a lovely view. Thanks for a relaxed and easy vacation stay!
