This is our third stay at Konea (first in this unit). It's a great property in a beautiful location. The only issue we had was the dryer; it didn't seem to have been cleaned out before we arrives. There was sand and other yucky stuff in the filter, and our very small load (i.e., may 5 items) just didn't dry. So we gave up trying to use it.Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place.

We had an amazing stay at Honua Kai 404! We stay at Honua Kai every year, but this was our first time booking with Maui Resort Rentals, and I have to say, their customer service was exceptional. Every single time we had a question or needed anything at all, they responded immediately and were incredibly helpful.The condo was beautiful, spacious, and very well equipped. It had nearly everything we could possibly need, which saved us from having to eat every meal out. We loved making breakfast together in the condo each morning and then heading out for lunch or dinner.The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance of the grocery store, with a wonderful beach right out front. The pools and grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained, and we especially loved being so close to Duke’s. An added bonus is being able to order Duke’s food and drinks right from the pool!After 12 stays at Honua Kai, we can confidently say that Maui Resort Rentals provided the best customer service we have experienced. We absolutely love Honua Kai and highly recommend the resort, but we especially recommend booking through Maui Resort Rentals. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, and we will definitely book with them again! Parking was included, and they didn't charge a resort fee on top of the booking. That is especially great in Maui! They even have a small store on the property and a coffee bar!

Everything in our unit was amazing!! Having 2 master suites worked out so nicely!! Amenities were all wonderful and the condo was clean and very well maintained!!! We will definitely be returning!!

This was a great location and we loved the property. It’s close to everything and the beach is great too. We loved the condo and the property managers were very prompt to respond to our needs. Highly recommend

Great Unit at an awesome resort

Extremely happy with this rental. Very clean and upscale unit, great south facing balcony that gives views of both the lush green hills to the east and the ocean to the west. Wish we could've stayed longer! Having Dukes Beach House on property is amazing . . . and dangerous :) The only thing that wasn't perfect was we couldn't get in the unit until after 4 but we were down at the pool enjoying that beautiful amenity. Maui Resort Rentals was incredibly responsive even on our last minute booking. We'll definitely be using them as a resource for our next Maui vacation.

Amazing stay!

We stayed in Konea 404, and I have nothing but praise. From checking in, to periodic questions throughout our visit, scheduling rides to town, which was included, proximity to the beach and waterfront, and checking out. Our room was immaculate, and I purposely booked this particular suite because of the views, hardwood flooring, the privacy that the two bedrooms offered and the open-air feeling. You can literally open the patio doors the entire length of the living room and dining space. While in the living room, or on the patio, you have ocean views to the West and mountain views the entire length of the East and South. I realize most want ocean views, but the mountains were truly lovely and tranquil since there were only buildings at the base, which left the hillsides pristine. I am afraid of heights, yes even floor 4, so I was a bit nervous, but it turned out to be fine and only added to the beauty of the views. This is a two-bedroom apartment with large bathrooms in both and they sit opposite sides of the suite, so there was plenty of privacy for both parties. Oh, and for anyone who cares there was great water pressure in the showers, which I find rare when traveling. The grounds were clean and there were enough BBQ’s to use in the evening to cook dinner if you wanted. The kitchen itself had all you need for cooking a full meal and entertaining. We even had a last-minute engagement party for my daughter and future son-in-law! The living room couch had some wear and tear and will probably need to be updated in the next year or so, and the Teflon pans had seen better days. I almost feel guilty writing about those two items since our stay was so amazing. I can't really share about the pools because we spent our days at the beach on site, or visited other beaches. Another benefit of the room were the beach chairs and coolers offered for use. This place is really a gem.

Our courtesy shuttle, which runs on the west side of Maui is available daily for our guests and we’re glad you enjoyed this complimentary service. We’re happy to know that the condo was everything and more than you expected and that you enjoyed the large lanai and expansive views. The split floor plan is very popular and it’s great that your group found this home spacious and private for both parties. To a certain extent we do rely on feedback from our guests, and we appreciate your comments on the sofa and pans. We inspected the sofa and gave it a thorough deep shampoo. We also inspected the Teflon pans and have replaced them with a brand-new set. Our ohana beach pack of chairs and cooler adds a little extra to our guests’ beach experience and we’re glad that you got out and about on the island. We agree that this place is a gem, and we are very happy that you had an amazing stay. We also extend our congratulations for your daughter’s engagement!
