Lighthouse Ranch with Expansive Ocean and Pasture Views

Escape to 32 private acres one mile from the ocean! The view will take your breath away.
Walk to the Stornetta Public Lands and Point Arena Lighthouse. Relax on the comfy couches and enjoy the floor to ceiling windows in the living room. A cozy wood stove will keep you warm. Watch the birds from the sunroom!
There is plenty of room for the entire family with three bedrooms and two baths. The entire house has been recently remodeled with new appliances, carpets and windows. There is an electric fireplace in the primary bedroom which has it’s own bathroom and outside deck. The kitchen is stocked with any kind of appliance you might need from a waffle iron to slow cooker.
Some of the interesting nearby sites include the Point Arena Pier, Arena Theater, award winning bakery Franny's Cup and Saucer, B. Bryan Nature Preserve and the Gualala Arts Center. Easy kayaking in the Gualala or Navarro Rivers. There are many uncrowded beaches and hiking trails. Enjoy a day browsing the quaint bookstore in Gualala or the many art galleries.
Elk, with a Michelin starred restaurant and small town charm, is 20 minutes north.
The town of Mendocino is only about 40 minutes away.

The property is unique because it offers all the comfort in a quiet picturesque environment. The host prepared thoughtfully our stay. I just wished my family and l could have stayed at least one more day. Watching the sunset from the living room felt very soothing and memorable. Thank you!

Point Arena Getaway

Four old friends taking our 43rd annual getaway. One of us has a health condition that prevented us from going to the Sierras (where we usually go) so we decided on a coast trip. Big house warmed by the wood stove just down the road from the lighthouse. Kitchen is well supplied. Very clean and welcoming. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed our walk on Manchester beach and sightseeing at the pier (great pizza!) and lighthouse.

Great property with wonderful view.

My family stayed here for a bit more than a week, and it was a wonderful location. Very quiet. Great views. Nice house. Spacious, clean. Beds were great. Only complaint was that Wifi was a tad spotty. but other than that, I would highly recommend it.

Secluded Oaisis

Our stay was short, but nice! The place is off the beaten path on multiple acres of secluded land. It overlooks the highway, but has a nice view of farmland and the distant ocaen (on a clear day). The place was clean and sufficient for a short weekend stay. There were several nooks for enjoying the scenery and our kids loved the space to explore. We will definitely stay again next time we are in town...and want privacy!

Excellent place to stay & worth it! Great location to explore coastal shore/cliffs & towns, redwood forests, winery tasting (&buying!) Beautiful scenery looking out House's living room windows- see the Pacific & the Arena Point Lighthouse. Be sure to view scenery at pitch-black night to see all the stars & lighthouse's light.

Amazing Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tammy’s place. Home was very clean, had great views, comfortable beds, and was fully stocked with all essentials and amenities. We had easy access to several scenic spots and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Point Arena and the nearby towns. Tammy is an excellent host - she messaged ahead of the trip with directions to the property (it is located in a remote place) and inquired if we needed help with getting around. We were welcomed with a basket of goodies and a sweet message (our family greatly appreciated this thoughtful gesture as we were visiting Point Arena to mark my husband’s birthday)! We found ourselves needing help in a couple of situations (accidentally locked ourselves out and had to request for a late check out) and Tammy was prompt with her communications, considerate and empathetic. We felt welcomed and cared for! Thank you Tammy!

Comfy Seclusion with a View!!

This house sits alone at the end of a long gated private driveway, but a short walk to a cafe and a few short miles from nearby restaurants and grocery store. A glassed in back porch offers 180 degrees of valley views and a peak at the ocean. Recent upgrades such as new paint, new carpeting, a well stocked kitchen, new bedding and linens, new HULU TV's and local information make this vacation house a great bargain. It's a short drive to the local lighthouse and easy hikes along the cliffs. We'll be back!!

Fantastic hidden gem

We had a fantastic time at Lighthouse Ranch, a very large property near Point Arena Lighthouse and conveniently near a local diner. Unreal view from the living/dining room here. Just astonishingly beautiful. Every morning, you wake up and walk into the main room and just stand in awe of the 180+ view: mountains, Hwy 1 far below, pasture, ocean, hills, lighthouse. We have 5yo and 2yo daughters, and the stay was really perfect for all of us. Great beds in three bedrooms, two baths, for us and for the girls. This seems like an older property that has been lovingly updated. Kid-friendly, super clean; with windows open, fresh air abounds. As an older seaside property, there are some musty scents here and there as one might expect. Owners use a few air fresheners. We would heartily recommend staying here. It worked very well with 2 adults and 2 small children, with plenty of room to spare. Point Arena is such a lovely area, with a quaint downtown and a playground right off Hwy 1, and the Cove in particular seems not to be missed, along with the lighthouse. We can't wait to come back.

Very Relaxing House with a Beautiful View!

This place is so relaxing. The view out of the living room is really beautiful. Nice to be so close to the lighthouse and town. I would definitely stay here again!

The area is private and beautiful. The view from the house is expansive and includes the ocean, pastures and mountains. Most guests remark on the amazing view. We chose this property for the serenity and how spacious it is.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The house has a unique view and borders the Stornetta Public Lands. You can walk along the bluffs right next to the ocean. It is the closest home to the lighthouse and national monument. You can easily walk or bike to the ocean or lighthouse. It is very private yet close to the small quaint town of Point Arena.
