You'll even have laundry facilities conveniently located on the property, so you can afford to pack light for your trip! The atmosphere of Hale Kai O’ Kihei seems a world apart but it is within walking distance of Azeka Mall, with great shopping and dining options, as well as the post office. Location and affordability

Great condo with nice in room enmities like kitchen, wifi, A/C, balcony. Location you can’t beat, and views as well. My wife and I stay here every year. It’s affordable, balcony great for drying dive gear or watching the sunset, grounds are always kept up and clean.

First Time in Maui!

We had an amazing stay! The views were incredible, we were so close to the beach and spent almost every morning and afternoon on the balcony enjoying the ocean waves. So close to shopping and restaurants! The condo was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to make our trip perfect. Definitely recommend booking your stay here!

Wonderful location!

The best part about this condo is the location. Beautiful view, well-kept grounds, quiet, right on the beach. Walk to or short drive to restaurants and shopping. As for the condo, it was clean and pretty well equipped. There were beach chairs and umbrellas in a chest on the lanai. This condo could do with a facelift, but it was just fine for the two of us to have a peaceful quiet week on the beach.

Tranquil Stay in a Luxury Tent

Had a wonderful time in the tent. Everything was convenient, from fridge, small kitchen, and hot shower. Peaceful place to stay while hearing birds and gecko in the morning/evening. Communication with Kehau was easy and informative. Super close to Volcano National Park. Would definitely recommend!

Extremely poorly outfitted. For example, there is only one huge and one tiny pot, the hair dryer is held together with saran wrap, but it was very clean and there'd is very comfortable.

This condo is a perfect place for beauty and relaxation. The view of the palm trees and ocean are breathtaking. A few minutes walk and you’re on the beach. The city of Kihei has everything you will need. From my experience, the residents at the condo resort were very friendly.

This property is all about location. If you need a concierge desk, rental activities, and nightly luaus you need to look elsewhere. If however, you want a truly beachfront, laid back, quiet place with amazing views, you have chosen wisely. Our specific unit was very nicely furnished with guests in mind. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, pool towels and an in freezer ice maker made it a very comfortable experience. The kitchen was well stocked with just about everything you could think of. There is a very nice private pool for the complex. Nothing fancy, but it was cleaned regularly and was perfect for cooling off without getting sandy on the beach. If that is your choice though, access is super close and there is a foot wash hose in the grassy area just off the beach. There are several stores very close. And Kihei offers many different dining options. Those options vary from nice “sit down” restaurants to the vast multitude of food truck choices. We stuck with the food trucks and were blown away by the quality and value we experienced. We have stayed on the west side of Maui several times and really enjoyed that. Kihei offers a different but very rewarding view of the island, without the drive. We would highly recommend this property and Kehei to anyone looking for a very relaxing time on Maui.

Great location, stellar views

The condo was very well equipped with some beach gear and basic kitchen items like coffee, oil, salt. The views are picture perfect at sunset. Could walk to the food trucks in town. The only odd thing is the position of the bed - it’s the first thing you see coming through the front door and there is no divider of any kind, it feels more like a studio than an actual one bedroom.

Condo was wonderful! The only issue we had was connecting to WIFI. I did send an email about the issue, with no response. I did talk to the front desk, they tried to trouble shoot but it didn’t work. I would definitely come back.

The complete package

We very much enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable condo. We did cook several meals and appreciated the kitchen. The location is so convenient and the view from the lanai is sublime. Loved the option of the chaise lounges on the grass or just caring the provided beach chairs to the waters edge. Fantastic stay.

Great little home base

Great place to stay in Kihei! There’s a pool and lounge area with a view of the beach right off the balcony. Enjoyed having our coffee in the morning and beer in evenings watching the sunset. They also have this chest on the balcony with little beach things you might want like body boards and even some water shoes (which you’ll want in Maui, lot of rocks in water) and a couple of chairs. As for the home itself, while I’m still rating it 5 stars I think it’s important to say that the room next to the front door stays pretty warm as the ac unit is all the way at the back end. Some people might not mind that but if you like next to glacial conditions while sleeping, the pull out couch will be your best bet and it was actually pretty comfy. Otherwise great place in a perfect central location!
