We have to rate this place A-1. It was even cuter than the pictures. Very clean and well decorated. The amenities were above and beyond. It was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen. The host thought of everything! There was even a frother for you coffee! The bedrooms perfect for us aTnd had extremely comfortable beds and linens. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of plush towels.The location was perfect. We were right around the corner from King Street and the trolley. We were a 12 minute walk from the metro station. It was an easy trip into DC.The host is extremely responsive and answers you quickly. We thoughly enjoyed our stay.

Our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. From communication to the location, cleanliness, comfort, decor, convenience to Old Town and also for us to visit DC. This is a great property and i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Communication with the host was quick, the check in process was easy, and the house was as pictured online. Location was great and walkable. The first thing i noticed was that everything was clean... really clean, which isn't always the case in rentals. The kitchen was very well-appointed, and the drawers and cabinets all had labels inside so you knew where everything goes, which is so helpful. Even the silverware all matched and was of good, heavy quality... not the mismatched, cheap silverware you often find in rentals. That's such a small detail, but it speaks to the care and attention the owners give this place. There were air purifiers all throughout the house, which was a nice touch. All the bedrooms were on the second floor, which may be relevant if you or your travel partners have mobility issues. The bathrooms were well stocked with soap, shampoo, travel size deodorant, toothbrushes, disposable razors, etc. Again, a small, inexpensive detail that the owners don't have to provide, but is so appreciated. Beds and bedding were comfortable, and there was an assortment of device chargers in case you forgot yours. There were also a few noise machines available. Another nice touch. Basement has a nice sitting area with a tv. We used the washer and dryer a few times and there was plenty of laundry detergent available. Easily one of the best rentals we've ever booked.

Beautiful home, great location!

We planned an action-packed adventure in DC, and didn’t get to fully enjoy this home, unfortunately. It’s beautiful, and very well stocked. It’s also in a really neat part of town.

Great stay in Alexandria!

A beautiful townhome in Alexandria. The home was an easy walk to the metro and shopping and dining in Old Town. Communication with the owner was excellent. It easily accommodated our family of 5 while touring DC for a couple of days.

Perfect place in Old Town Alexandria

Great location and easy check in. Well appointed and clean. The kitchen was superbly stocked and the beds were quite comfortable. Parking was very easy. Highly recommend for a stay in historic Alexandria!

Just finished a trip to the DC area and this home provides easy access via metro rail. Staying in Alexandria is like getting 2 vacation sceneries in one stop.On top of that, the home is very well appointed and the perfect size for our family of 4. The downstairs basement room is great for teenage kids to hangout.

We have lived in Alexandria for 27 years. We love the "small city near the big city" feel and value the access we have to everything the Washington DC area has to offer. We enjoy hosting people from other areas and helping you find the perfect activities to make your trip special.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This location cannot be beat. Old Town Alexandria was George Washington's stomping grounds. It cannot be beat for historical flavor. We are 1/2 block off of King Street - Old Town's main thoroughfare, so there is no end to the number of restaurants and shops in walking distance. We are a 7 minute walk to the Metro and Amtrak stop and a 12 minute drive to the airport. We knew this house would offer our guests everything they could want in walking distance with easy access to Washington, DC sightseeing.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We spent the winter having this home renovated. Almost everything is brand new and completed with guests in mind. We love the 1880s charm and the modern luxury.
