Old Hickory Lake Nashville Cabin for Two

This one bedroom, one bath home sits right on Old Hickory Lake, The interiors unique furnishings has a rustic cozy cabin feel.. The relaxing screened in back deck overlooks the large lakeside back yard.

Full kitchen opened to the living room for staying connected to family and guest. Enjoy your prepared meals in the sunroom to have a near panoramic view. Propane gas grill for grilling those favorite meals on an open deck. Fire pit with lake views. A 2 person peddle boat and 2 stand up paddle boards are available for guests to explore around the lake.

Brick electric fireplace in the living room while relaxing on the leather couch and chairs in front of flat screen TV, two sliding glass doors open onto the covered screened in deck, overlooking the back yard with views of the lake.

King and queen sized beds set with memory cool gel foam mattress. Recently remodeled bathroom.

THE LOCATION

30 minutes from downtown Nashville, located between Gallatin and Hendersonville. This lakefront property offers easy access to outdoor adventures and exciting dining and nightlife. Just outside your back door, the scenic Old Hickory Lake. boat dock to tie your boat up and Nearby boat launch ramp.

The home Accommodates two guest for the romantic get away celebrating an anniversary, birthday, or just a weekend getaway.

Dogs are welcome. However, full disclosure is required. You may still instant book, but disclose your dog(s) and expect us to layout a few basic and very reasonable rules.

Our Lakehouse rental comes with many amenities such as: Fire Pit, Boat Dock, Peddle Boat, and stand up paddle boards. While these are all in place for guest enjoyment, there are certain inherent risks which come with using such amenities. Please keep children under close supervision and understand that your willingness to rent this home binds you to use these things at your own risk.

$50 one-time pet fee (covers multiple pets)

Loved the Screened in Deck

We spent most of our time on the screened deck, comfortable sofa and love seat, plus dining table and chairs. The rental is very well stocked! Ground coffee, K-Pods, variety of cleaning materials, olive oil, sugar, coffee creamer, spices, and the list goes on... Our only disappointment was that there was no view of the Cumberland River/Old Hickory Lake, rental is across from an island in a narrow cove. We would have enjoyed watching river traffic.

Our Stay Nashville Area with our Pups

What a wonderful stay! The residential cabin offers privacy, and has a great deck with a relaxing view of the lake to enjoy an abundance of wildlife and nature sounds. The property was as advertised, clean and well maintained, with plenty of parking. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. Loved it so much I immediately booked again for November! Thanks to the owner, Kevin & co, excellent communications and hospitality! Highly recommend!

Cozy, comfortable, and quiet

This early-sixties-aged couple found the cottage to be just right for a 4-night, weekday stay. The location was close to anything you’d want or need but so very quiet and peaceful. Wildlife abounds; fun to watch. There was no reason to contact our host but we were assured he was close and attentive. As far as amenities, I would only request a small skillet for the kitchen and hand towels for the bathroom. We really appreciated this cozy cottage getaway!

All-In-One Getaway

Old Hickory Lake was an awesome getaway. My friend and I were able to take in the nightlife and fun of Nashville, go fishing at the lake, and enjoy good food and relaxing moments. The owner was helpful and courteous and the place was clean and accommodating. We would definitely consider this place for future visits to the area.

Lakeside Retreat Review

Nancy and I have nothing but raving thanks for Kevin and his property. It met or exeeded our every expectation. Relaxing, serene and peaceful come to mind. The property was immaculate and the neighborhood overall area was beautiful. We enjoyed meeting Kevin who was friendly very accodating. Our time there went by much too quickly and we highly reccomend his property for anyone who seeks a comforting get away.

Get Lost on the Lake

This wins over any hotel stay. Best of both worlds. You can visit the rowdiness of Nashville and return to tranquility. Deer, squirrels and ducks wander through the backyard. Everything you need for a quiet night (or two) at home. Close to restaurants and shopping. Kinda love this little place. ❤️

Had the best time

Everything was better than expected, it was so quiet and peaceful, just what my husband and I needed. We spotted lots of wildlife and I had lots of time to just relax and read. I would definitely book again if we needed to in that area. Thanks!

Thanksgiving 2023

One of the Best rentals we have stayed in. It was clean, great location, walking neighborhood. We felt safe walking around and enjoying the views of the lake and wildlife. The ease of booking and check-in was flawless. I would recommend anyone wanting a quiet relaxing experience check this out. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner for our family and everything I needed was there. The weather was warm enough to sit outside on the screened in porch overlooking the lake. This will be our go to vacation spot when traveling to the Nashville area.

Neat and clean

The house was as good if not better than advertised. Very neat and clean. The owners did a wonderful job of fall decorating. The location right on the lake is great. Although there are houses near by, the neighborhood is very calm and quiet. Deer every day, practically all day in the back yard.
