Accessibility:
Lakes galore! A quick drive to Eagle Lake, Pleasant lake, Diamond Lake, and Stone Lake (10-15mins). Less than 30 minute drive to South Bend/Notre Dame. Less than 30 minutes to Southwest Michigan Wine Trail. Tons of accessible apple/fruit orchards in the area. Less than 2 hour drive from Chicago. Enjoy our wildlife —deer, wild turkey and other animals thrive in acreage.

The space:
Children and families are welcome! We have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

Guest access:
Upstairs closet, and basement closet will be locked. Detached garage will remain closed and locked. There are outdoor cameras to monitor entry doors. Rear entry door camera does pick up part of the pool area. Indoor fireplaces are not permitted for use.

Please Note:
Guests are expected to read & be willing to honor House Rules. No gatherings/parties allowed, only booked guests can be there at any time (unless discussed/approved and additional fees paid in advance). Additional security deposit required for every booking per House Rules; booking implies agreement to pay deposit and honor rules. Unpaid deposit means no entry.

We had a very peaceful stay here. While it was just me, my wife and our 2 year old son, we would highly recommend for larger parties as there is so much room and so many activities.

We booked for a 10 day family vacation/40th bday girls weekend and had a GREAT time. Bill and Stephanie were always quick to respond and super communicative. The pool was a huge hit and there was plenty of space to spread out and have a large family gathering. Would definitely boom again!

Fun family Vacation location!

Our family of 8 (ages 17-50) had a wonderful vacation here. The home was very clean and we loved the welcome treats! The kids loved all the activities onsite. Very easy check in and out, we were able to ask questions and get answers quickly. Very happy we stayed here and we would stay again!!

Large, quiet space

Owners communicated when needed. House is huge! With large outdoor pool, indoor hottub and pkenty of space to gather with the fam or get away for some peace & quiet! Out in the middle of nowhere but close enough to south bend for ahopping and fun. Close beaches as well. We had a great time!

Love the location. Just four minutes away from Pleasant Lake and 15 minutes away from Juno Lake about 45 minutes away from Warren Dunes State Park. There is Saint Joseph River nearby. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops. The kids love the pool the adults loved the hot tub. The pool table was used quite a bit. I was thankful to have plenty of space for our family of 10 and we found the accommodations perfect for us. Easy to communicate with property management, and this place even had a Nespresso machine! Win win win! Also wanting to mention that we booked very close to the date of our trip and because of that got a lower rate. We would not have been able to do this trip without that specific perk the owners provided. Very thankful for the much needed getaway our family enjoyed.

Wonderful relaxing trip

Loved the fire pit, hot tub, and all the room in the house. Lots of towels and other supplies that aren’t always provided. Kids had lots of fun, even when it was colder or rainy. Warning to the warm blooded, the pool is cold, but the kids still loved it almost every day. Hosts were responsive to issues.

Spacious and private!

Those two words perfectly describe this listing. The pictures do not do it justice how spacious and private it is. You can have your own space anywhere in the house, accommodates large groups perfectly and the privacy is really nice. Very clean and also has all the amenities needed. One thing to note we went in Mid July and pool was not warm at all, it’s shaded and does not direct sun much, a heater would be nice but not necessary. Overall highly recommend house and owners were awesome to deal with!! We will be back!

Great getaway

We had a great experience at this property. It was fairly close to our house, but a little getaway with family. We spent a lot of time at the house since it had so much to keep us busy, but we were close enough to some bigger cities with other things to do. The hosts were fantastic and left some great snacks for us. They were very responsive and even came out on a Sunday morning to deal with an issue. The house was large, well stocked and provided enough space for a couple families to be together, but also separate enough to not disturb each other at night (like our 5-month old waking in the night). The hot tub was a group favorite and my 4-year-old son especially liked exploring everywhere inside and out. We had a lot of fun and were talking about renting it again in the future. I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet family retreat with something for all ages.

Family Getaway

The good: The house is huge and has tons of room for the family to sit together or spread out. The kids loved having an upstairs loft area to themselves! All of the beds were comfortable and it was decorated nicely. Everything looked really clean too! The pool and hot tub were awesome, all of the levels were good. The bad: The driveway is overgrown with trees and bushes so it scrapes your car going in and out (it is too small to drive around the overgrowth too). The decks are a hazard, we would not allow the kids to walk on them without shoes! They have nails sticking up on them and I almost fell through a board on the front so there is significant rot. The entrance step is old plywood that is starting to rot. Smaller issues included the balusters in the railing going upstairs were falling out (we "fixed" one with duck tape) [this is a HUGE issue if you have toddlers], toilet paper holder in the master bathroom was broken, some of the dishes were dirty, kitchen faucet was loose and falling over (we tightened it), no good pool sticks (they are missing tips and/or warped), ice machine wouldn't dispense ice (we also fixed this), nails sticking out of the wall where décor used to be, smoke alarms missing in a few rooms. TLDR: The house is awesome but needs some basic maintenance to be 5 stars. I feel like you could make this house amazing with a weekend of work! We fixed a few of the problems in our week stay, the house just needs some TLC.

Fabulous for families

This house was just as advertised — the pool and basement game room were awesome for our long weekend stay. Plenty of space to accommodate two families with kids ranging from 3 to 9 years old. The house was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Owners were very responsive and would definitely rent again!

Girls Getaway weekend

The rental was perfect for the 6 of us to get away for the weekend. We loved the pool, the hot tub and the firepit. I went spent one day in the pool and the next day we visited the wineries in the area.

Beautiful, secluded get away

This property is amazing and everything you need for a quiet get away. The owners know you'll arrive hungry and left snacks for our arrival. Between the spacious property, fire pit, immaculate pool, hot tub, and gaming basement, there's not much need to leave the property for entertainment. The hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and welcoming. I would recommend this property to anyone vacationing with a large group. We had 10 people with plenty of room. Everyone was able to sleep in a bed, however, there are ample, cozy couches throughout the house to sleep on should you have more guests. Wonderful experience for our whole family!

Maple Park Estate

This home was spacious enough for all of our immediate family of 11. About a 30 minute drive to Lk. Michigan or South Bend. Very clean. Nice to have swimming pool with a gate in backyard, campfire area, and hot tub. You-pick blueberry farms in area for us to pick our yearly supply of berries!

Exactly What We We’re Looking For!!!

Want a getaway with family without distractions? This if the place! Secluded. Long driveway/setback. Plenty to do at the property. Walking in the area. Bill and Stephanie were extremely helpful and very responsive to our questions. The ‘welcome gifts’ were a pleasant surprise and the S’mores Kit was a total hit. Loved every moment we were there. Definitely recommend very highly.
