Soundside - Stunning Gulf Views, Steps to Beach!

Have a vacation filled with sugar-white sand and saltwater when you stay at Soundside, a Pensacola Beach vacation rental. This four-bedroom, two-story home, is just steps from the Santa Rosa Sound and three blocks from the Gulf of Mexico!

Pull up to your next beach vacation destination and discover the home’s exterior, with wood accents and a large, open-air balcony. Parking will be easy at Soundside with garage access through one of two doors.

Enter the first floor of the home and find terrazzo flooring and charming, coastal décor throughout. The living room, fully-equipped kitchen, and second, third, and fourth bedroom make up the first floor. The fully-equipped kitchen is decorated with marble countertops and stainless-steel appliances and features an island with plenty of seating. Meanwhile, the living room gives access to a private, cement patio with furniture for your whole group to relax and unwind.

A spiral staircase will take you up to the second floor which is comprised of the primary suite and private balcony. The primary bedroom is completely open and has a sitting area, double vanity, and a private bathroom.

From the primary suite, step out onto the large, open-air balcony. This space is the perfect place to relax and end your day, with comfortable furniture and views of the Santa Rosa Sound.

During your stay, be sure to get out and enjoy all the things to do in Pensacola Beach. Explore the city’s rich history at Fort Pickens or the Pensacola Lighthouse. Afterward, dine on fresh Gulf seafood at area restaurants. The Pensacola Beach Trolley offers free rides from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day and is an excellent way of exploring the area.

I could NOT get in touch with the host! Both numbers they sent via email did not work. When using the AI service, the "number" they sent for contact was filled with Xs (xxx-xxx-xxxx)!!! When I finally reached a number after having to manually enter it, the operator was incredibly rude and dismissive which dampened our final day. However, the house was in a great location and perfect for our stay. The lighting was not great in the kitchen and all of the soap dispensers were empty. The upstairs shower did not consistently work. The faucets would not turn off and there was only hot water sometimes. Loved the ice machine and bedrooms were comfortable. Great location.

Awesome experience!

This property was fantastic! Location was a short drive to the beach and a few minutes from the main beach! Location was private, and we absolutely loved the backyard and the rooftop patio! Would absolutely recommend anyone vacationing to stay here!

Loved our time

We got this place for my 40th birthday and it was a great location. Really quiet area, super short walk to the beach one side and a bay area on the other. I would def recommend if youre just trying to get away and chill by the water for a few days.

Thanks for following up on this rental. The listing for this rental is misleading. This rental does not have any kind of Gulf view. The bay view is certainly limited to a 2nd story deck, but we have 2 Seniors who are the reason for this trip in wheelchairs so they can't view anything. We had a musty smell in the living room and I saw Damp Rid in the cabinet (I understand why). When you walked in the living room area you could tell musty smell. We have 6 adults and the bed situation is not ideal. This is the first VRBO we've stayed at that doesn't have the bare minimums in the kitchen and not even extra toilet paper or soap in bathroom. Beds, floors, furnishings look like they were1970s and leave a lot to be desired. We are very displeased and feel we overpaid. Thanks for listening and anything you can do.

We reviewed the listing details and confirmed that the description and photos accurately reflect the home, including the noted partial Gulf view, as we aim to be transparent so guests know what to expect. Regarding essential supplies, our pre-arrival communication sent 20 days prior explains that a starter supply is provided for the first 24 hours, with replenishment thereafter being the guest’s responsibility. We found no record of a musty odor being reported to our 24/7 Guest Services during your stay; had we been notified, our local Operations Team would have been happy to address it promptly. Your comments regarding the furniture have been shared with our Operations Team for review and we hope you will consider giving us the opportunity to provide a more enjoyable experience in the future. - Your Southern Team

Beautiful Wedding

My fiancée and I booked this beautiful home and we were planning on getting married on the beach. We stayed with my 2 grown children, and 3 friends. Place was amazing! We ended up getting married in the backyard. Beautiful sand, views and a quick walk to the beach for sunset pictures. We had such an amazing time and this home exceeded all expectations and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! Thank you so much for letting us share our special moment here! It will forever hold a special place in our hearts and memories!

Great location close to Pensacola but in a quiet area - Need TP.

This VRBO has the perfect balance of beach activity and quiet. You can walk to either the bayside or the Gulf side for water. The bayside beach is small and surrounded by docks, but the Gulf side is wide-open, perfect for long walks. We enjoyed our stay. The place is excellent. Just down the street from Pensacola's hustle and bustle, the free trolley has a pickup just a short walk from the front door. The unit has a spotless, nice kitchen and lovely decor. There are some beach toys in the garage, which we helped ourselves to. The four-star review is due to a lack of supplies. We were given a limited amount of TP, two trash bags, and very little dish soap. By very little TP, I mean two rolls—one roll for each bathroom. I get that they don't want to stock the place to the gills, but between the TP, Dish Soap, and trash bags, it was inconvenient to buy these items during a vacation.

Great Location

Let’s start with the good stuff! The location is great. Very close to the beach. It’s conveniently located, approximately 2.2 miles, to the tourist shops/restaurants. There is a trolley that you can access but we happened to visit when the trolley wasn’t running (late March). The kitchen is actually bigger than it looks. All appliances work well. Now the not so good stuff. The house needs a deep clean. There is a mild mildew odor. Most of the windows don’t have screens so airing out the house was limited. There wasn’t a vacuum in the home, but I called guest services and they brought one to us that evening. I was told the one they brought was newly purchased, it was basically a dust buster on a stick. Seriously, it wasn’t effective. Did make me wonder if the house was vacuumed before we arrived because the cleaning company told me where to look for the vacuum and it wasn’t at any location they suggested… actually it wasn’t at any guest accessible location in the house. Master bedroom doesn’t have closet, all clothes must be put in a dresser or hooks on bathroom door. A couple guests rooms don’t have access to dresser so forced to leave clothes in luggage. I will chose to stay somewhere else on my next visit.

Great place and fabulous location

Pros: The property was much nicer than expected. It was tastefully decorated in a New Orleans theme, which reminded us of our hometown. The house had more amenities that were included such as an ice box by the laundry and beach toys. We also loved the terrace for the sunset on the bay. The location was awesome bc it’s btw a bay and the Gulf that are within minutes walking so you can alternate swimming in both areas. The beach was beautiful and not too crowded. Neighbor adjacent to the house was quite nice, too. Cons: needed more bath mats and kitchen drying towels. The mattress covers should be washed or changed. We laundered sheets and discovered stains on some of the mattress covers was pretty unsanitary. The bottom shower had poor water drainage so we had to use a plunger to unclog it and it was full of hair. Toilet handle was loose so needs to be fixed. There are two kayaks in the yard but no paddles. Unsure if it was for public use. We texted the property management company but received no response. Overall, it was very nice stay at the house. We would come back and also recommend to others. Just expect that the rental will have imperfections but it didn’t color our experience. I hope the property management and cleaning team address these issues for future guests.

Bikes almost unusable, lack of household supplies was disappointing (no hand soap, no sponge, no detergent, no salt and pepper, wifi was terrible), zero blankets, dead rat in garage, beech chairs gross covered in rat droppings and broken. Nice spot good location and easy. Outdoor area very nice.
