Spacious waterfront home on main canal.

Blue Abyss is a spacious home on the main canal in Jamaica Beach. This comfortable home has an open floor plan for the fully equipped kitchen and two great (think huge) outdoor areas. If you are looking for a house with perfect entertaining areas, Blue Abyss is the home for you. The main floor has 2 large bedrooms and with adjoining large bathrooms and closets. Each bedroom has queen size beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast nook and bar that opens to another dinning table. The living room has two couches, TV and a fireplace. There is an upstairs loft with two sets of queen size bunk beds and a half bath.

When you want to get outside, there is a massive upper deck with incredible views overlooking the main canal. 180 degree view from this spot. The deck has two large tables and 10 chairs between the two. The downstairs outside covered patio has a large bar with sink, tv, a double burner propane stand and propane/charcoal combo grill.

Also provided a crab trap. During the spring and summer you should be able to catch many blue crabs.

The downstairs is a bonus room. The bonus room has bunk twin beds and a 1/2 bath.

We had a great time staying at this house on the Jamaica Beach canals. It was the perfect size for our family of four plus two grandparents. We had great luck fishing and catching a few crabs over the first week of July. We tied up our floats to the dock, kayaked (rented from Rick’s), and paddleboarded in the canals. The deck area was huge with great patio furniture. We enjoyed grilling (gas) and watching the sunsets from the lower deck area. There was plenty of seating in the main living area for lounging, eating, playing games and puzzling. It’s a quick drive to the beach and Seven Seas grocery. The house was clean when we arrived; check-in instructions were detailed and easy to follow. It’s a pet friendly place. We would stay here again!

The house was a very nice place and perfect for a family trip. Plenty room for everyone. The outdoor space was awesome. We enjoyed fishing right out under the house. In a great location with easy beach access. However the floors were very dirty and full of dog hair. The shower had hair in the drain and mildew on the floor. The bathtub was full of sand. The place had an extremely strong pet odor. I contacted the owner and sent pictures showing that the cleaning services had not been completed and that we were going to buy cleaning supplies and clean it ourselves. (We had two toddlers that would be playing on the floors) We didn’t want our stay interrupted by a cleaning crew. I was informed by the host that a guest two renters before us had a dog with long white hair and that they left the place in a mess and the cleaning service didn’t have time to deep clean because it was the busy season. This is sad since it was such a nice home. The host offered and did refund 100.00 of our 480.00 cleaning/pet fees for our trouble. I was also asked by the host to not leave a bad review however I feel that not leaving an honest review is very inconsiderate to the next person that rents during busy season. So for this reason we definitely will not be returning to this property since busy season is vacation season for us as well as many others.

My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and had many amenities. We booked a week prior and the process was so smooth. Perfect for a quick getaway. Next time we plan to stay longer. The neighbors were fantastic too.

Everyone was blown away with the house and location. We had room for Everyone to have their own space. Quick access to the beach with a rented gold cart. House is well stocked with all the essentials. Manager was great in communicating. We would come back again.

Wonderful time in Jamaica Beach

We had an amazing stay. The house was very nice, the beds and accommodations were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor areas and fishing. We also were very close to some great beaches. The owners were helpful and great with responding quickly. I would definitely book another stay here.

Awesome Bay Home!

The family enjoyed fishing right of the boat dock while watching the astros game. The beach was a short drive down the street. The kitchen was stocked with all the family chef would need. The home owners were very nice and responded quickly to our questions. We vbro all over galveston and this is at the top of the list for best all around homes!!

Perfect weekend getaway

This property was the perfect place for us to stay with a group of friends. It was clean and more spacious than the pictures. Everybody also loved all the large fish decor. It had plenty of rooms, kitchen, grill, great fishing off the canal, and beach assess only a few minutes away... Only down side was there was no toilet paper, but there is a large Dollar General 5 mins away with everything you may need. We had so much fun and shared so many amazing memories here.

I am sorry about the toilet paper issue. The maid service is suppose to leave out plenty. I will correct this issue.

Family Time

We didn’t realize just how much we missed each other over this difficult year. The rental home made it a special time for us. This home had everything thing we needed. The boys went crazy about the bunk beds. All our expectations were exceeded. We will definitely return

Spacious, beautifully decorated and clean! Great water views on the canal. The process was seamless and the kitchen is well stocked for your needs. The fishing opportunity is fantastic, you never have to leave.

Summer fun

This beautiful home was the perfect place for my family to gather together. We enjoyed the easy pace of this friendly community and all the water fun we could ever want...the canal right in front of us and the beach a 5 minute car ride away! There is also a community pool within walking distance:) We really enjoyed staying here.
