Resort life is waiting for you at 501-503 Pilot House, right in the heart of the Resort at the Baytowne Wharf! For larger parties, Pilot House 508, 522 or 526 are located on the same floor and are available for rent. Please inquire.

You will be just steps away from the sparkling lagoon swimming pool, hot tub, bbq grills, picnic area, and fitness room! Spend warm summer evenings relaxing on the oversize balcony, and take in lush resort views. Our Pilot House condo is in the center of it all. You will enjoy the sugar white beach, entertainment at the Baytowne Wharf, and the most beautiful lagoon style swimming pool complex on the Resort. The Resort offers amenities galore - beach fun, boating, tennis, golf, walking trails, a marina, fishing, and more.

Our stylish two bedroom unit offers a king in the primary suite, with a private bath. The guest bedroom has 2 queen beds, a private bathroom and a kitchenette. Walk right out the front door of the Pilot House and wander over to the Village at Baytowne Wharf which is a delight! Walk to world class restaurants, boutique shopping, and a variety of family-friendly activities such as a zip line, bungee-trampoline jumping, evening entertainment, a carousel, rock climbing wall, a kids playground area and remote controlled boats. There are often 'movies on the lawn', art displays, festivals, and special events held at Baytowne Wharf which is the heartbeat of the Resort. Fireworks are a weekly treat during summer time.

The tram stop is a few steps away, and makes the trip to the beach a snap! Resort life is waiting for you at #501-503 Pilot House!

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

Great Location!

This unit is in a terrific location, quiet, and great amenities (pool, Baytown Wharf and all that is associated with that). The unit was a great stay for a few days. The furnishing are on the minimalist side but who spends a lot of time in their condo at the beach? Would definitely look at renting again.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Property was clean, enough space for everyone. Only things we had an issue with was the fridge, it was a smaller fridge so we didn’t have enough room to store all groceries we bought for our stay. Also we arrived 10 mins before check in time and had to stand outside our door till 4pm on the dot until the door would open with code. Little frustrating as we had a 1 yr old with us but other than that it was a great stay.

Loved the location! Pool was very nice. Easy access to unit with good elevator service. The furniture in the unit was very uncomfortable. Both bathtubs could use grab bars. The king bedroom (not owner’s suite, bathroom outside of bedroom) has no overhead light, only two nightstand lights. The closet was full of cleaning equipment and old lamps.

Beach Fun

Overall it was a fun time! Property we rented was pretty much how it was described but could have been a little more smell friendly when we first arrived it had a musky smell but we ran to the Publix and got air freshener and turned the air down and it got better. Location was good having the Wharf right there for restaurants and entertainment.

We welcome reviews, however, this guest's comments are confusing. After check in, we contacted the guest to make sure all was good. He indicated that he was pleased with the accommodations, and we heard nothing further from him during his stay. After receiving the review, we emailed him asking for information with regard to how we could make the accommodations better based on his assessment, but we received no response. This is a lovely beach vacation condo located at Baytowne Wharf. We hope to see you at the beach soon!

Baytown Wharf

The property was in a great location to so many things it made our stay easy and fun. The condo itself had issues. The washing machine didn’t work, it wouldn’t spin the water out of the machine. We were without a washing machine for half the vacation. The dishwasher started leaking so we couldn’t use the dishwasher. These two things were a major inconvenience.

Our records indicate that a member of our maintenance team responded to a service request regarding the washing machine and was able to remedy the problem. However, we were not made aware that the dishwasher was not working properly and regret not being able to address this during your stay. Please note that we encourage our guests to notify us of any concerns upon discovery so we may remedy any issues as soon as possible. We strive to exceed our guests expectations and are always willing to return to the unit to ensure you are completely satisfied. Closeness to a pool, hot tub, restaurants, outdoor entertainment & stores is excellent. The kitchen had dishes, a small amount of cookware, a coffee maker and a blender. We brought coffee, but forgot to bring coffee filters, and there was none in the unit. The unit was spacious. It was two connecting units that we got because our grands were supposed to come, but couldn’t. My parents who are over 80 came in their place. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but the bathtubs were very tall to step over. My 83-year-old mother was unable to do it, so she had to sponge bathe the three days that she was there. There were a lot of positives, and three negatives on the trip. The negatives were: 1. One elevator was out of order, and the other could not take you to the fifth floor by pressing the button in the elevator. We had to ride it to the fourth floor, one of us would run upstairs to call the elevator to come to the fifth floor so that my parents would not have to walk up flights of stairs. 2. The cleaning crew didn’t do a very thorough job. The base board behind the bathroom dormer in 503 is filthy. The couch which is two pieces side by side separated and there were lots of crumbs and a crayon underneath it. Dirty dishes in dishwasher and light bulb was out upon arrival.3. The living room furniture is not comfortable.Two of the chairs belong on the good sized patio. They are not chairs you would want to sit on to relax. The couch is small as well. Everything else was fine.

Memorial Day weekend 503 pilot house

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room was in need of updating. Did not seem very clean, very small so should have been organized better and have more useful pieces in the room. Not enough towels and had no idea I had to go into other building across the parking garage to use a laundry room and pay to wash. Also no laundry start up detergent. Very inconvenient. Would suggest this doesn’t sleep more than 2 people. Also, all the restaurants in the village had terrible food. We tried 3 different ones. Do not recommend anything but the candy shop. Entire resort seemed run down from when we first started staying here almost 10 years ago. Used to be so nice. Sad to see it decline.

The furniture and fixtures were marred. The price did not reflect the quality.

I was disappointed with the unit, furniture was missing and patio furniture was broken.

This was my family's first vacation in over a year and our first time in Sandestin/Miramar Beach area. Upon arrival (6/19/21), furniture that was pictured in the living room was missing, three pieces of the patio furniture (two vinyl strapped chairs and a vinyl strapped lounge chair were broken and unusable. The living room in which two chairs and a coffee table were missing was replaced with one dinning leather dinning room chair delivered on (6/20/21) my only other option was two upholstered dinning room chairs . The patio furniture was not picked up by maintenance until (6/22/21) and not delivered back until (6/24/21) or (6/25/21) and we were leaving on June 26, 2021. when the patio furniture was brought to the unit, it was two stacking resin armchairs that you can purchase at Walmart. David Duncan was responsive to my emails, however, I cannot and will not provide a good survey review nor would I recommend to family or friends.

Family Vacation

The property was in a great location. However the standard of cleanliness was subpar. We had to get housekeeping to change all the sheets as they had not been changed since we found dead skin and hair everywhere. We found heavy dust on the dishes and left over clothes under the bed in the master bedrooms.
