Location, location, location! This adorable house sits in the heart of historic downtown Buena Vista. Walk or bike to shops, local breweries and restaurants, galleries, trails, and River Park. World-class fishing, hiking (Collegiate peaks), biking, white water rafting (Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River), and tubing are all within minutes of our front door. Close to historic Mount Princeton Hot Springs and Cottonwood Hot Springs. Close to historic downtown Salida! So much to do here!

Great spot near downtown!

This cottage is fantastic! Clean and minimalist, an easy walk to downtown. An enclosed yard for doggies and to store bikes. No complaints!

Great Location, Great House in BV!

Really enjoyed our stay at Eric’s place in BV. Short walk to town, quiet neighborhood, easy access to everything in the area. Fenced yard was great for our dog too! Highly recommended.

Excellent house in perfect location!

We LOVED our stay here. Everything about this house is lovely, from the flooring to the courtyard backyard, the modern decor, the location, the beds were comfy, and lots of room. Very clean and well stocked too. Loved it! We’d stay here again.

Comfortable place, great location

We stayed for 3 days and had a very comfortable time. Location is great, just 5 minutes from walking distance from downtown. Space was very clean and great back yard patio to hang out and relax

Great stay!

My girlfriends and I came to BV to celebrate my 40th. The house had everything we needed (except tissues) and it was clean and comfortable. The check in/out was really simple. I would come back and stay again anytime.

Great House

Everything was perfect! House was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was just right (5 minute walk to downtown). There was no AC on the first floor, but opening the windows and running the fans did the trick.

Great weekend!

The house was perfect for us and our dog for a long weekend. We had all the amenities of home including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and a fenced in yard for the dog. The location can't be beat - we were close to a park, able to walk to everything downtown, the river, the local dog park, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice two bedroom house in old BV

This is a nicely kept up, renovated 2 bedroom house in old BV. BV is rapidly becoming a resort town. This house is in the older section, a two block walk to main street. It's nicely furnished, clean, and has a fenced backyard. This is especially nice for us, traveling with a miniature schnauzer who we could let loose there. Highly recommended. Would go back.

Fantastic stay!

We were in town over the Memorial Day weekend for the trail marathon in town. The house is lovely and is in a great area. Super quiet but close enough to downtown that you could easily walk or ride bikes. Eric is wonderful and was able to accommodate some checkout changes due to unexpected illness. Super responsive and willing to work with our situation. I’d definitely stay here next time we visit BV!

Great Dog Friendly House

This house was well located, nicely updated and clean and had all the amenities we could have asked for. Eric was also able to give us some flexibility with the checkout time which we appreciated. Fully fenced in yard was a plus for the 2 dogs.

LOVE THIS PLACE

We stayed at this lovely home for a few days to attend our son’s wedding at the Surf Hotel. We had our daughter and granddaughter who thoroughly enjoyed the large second bedroom that was by itself upstairs. The home was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was perfect for our breakfast and we walked to Main Street for our lunch. Our two dogs loved the enclosed backyard and the neighborhood for our long walks. We are already planning our return for another wedding and will definitely stay here again!

I think I forgot to lock the front door. I found the lights in the dining area extremely bright. Bicycles nice to have. Red bike needs a new front tire. Otherwise very nice stay.

Comfort for Hiking

Property was as advertised. Only a couple issues, one being we could not find the trash bin that was stated to be outside the home, and two, the sink drain in the bathroom was completely clogged with hair and contact lenses - no water would drain until I cleaned it out. Otherwise, the property was clean/tidy and had most everything we needed for our short stay. It's a great location to downtown Buena Vista (walking distance) and a perfect spot to easily get to the collegiate peaks trailheads. Thanks for making a comfortable home available for our hiking adventure.

Great house, great location

Loved our stay. My sister and I spent the weekend. We were able to walk to town, yet the house was really quiet. We even heard and saw great horned owls in the early mornings. The house was clean, cozy and had a great attention to detail with the amenities. Thanks so much Eric!

Clean and nice upgrades

The property was very clean and organized as per the listing. You can tell the owners have put some money into upgrading lots of rooms and features in the home. Great pricing & access to town is very close by. We would most likely stay here again
