Watch Rincon's legendary sunsets from the new infinity pool or front porch. When the waves are up there's no better place to watch them from and when the waters are calm it is some of the worlds best snorkeling. House comes with a fully stocked kitchen, grill, free wifi, smart tv's and generator.

Excellent location- easy to the beach, easy to town. Great house- fit our needs perfectly. Kitchen had a great stock of spices/oils, and a tray in the fridge had a good amount of basic condiments, which was super helpful for preparing food at the house! Awesome pool- the kids absolutely loved it, the shallow end was perfect for the little one. Missing a few important amenities. Ice machine wasn't working and there was no blender like on the listing. The awesome pool only had two lounge chairs- we ended up buying two beach chairs and leaving them there, so hopefully they'll be there for the next group :)

Lovely house with amazing views

Perfect house for a family of four. No complaints whatsoever. Great quiet location just outside of the downtown area. 5 minute walk to the beach. Amazing ocean views. The kids loved the pool and we appreciated the beach toys and snorkeling gear.

Amazing Vacation Rental

This is a great vacation rental. The location is close to town and all the beaches. The property has a pool and the best views. I hope to come back with my family down the road. I highly recommend staying here! Also, the host is amazing!

Perfect Vacation Stay!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Villa Makaira. We enjoyed the walking proximity to the beach and the pool at the house. The house was clean and comfortable. We experienced a power outage (island-wide!) during our stay but the house was equipped with a generator and communication with Rachael was excellent the whole stay. We absolutely would stay again and highly recommend this property!

The Perfect Beach House

One of the best spots in Rincon, and this comes from a local. Nestled between town, the restaurants, and other beaches, you cannot go wrong with this place. Everything was perfect and Rachael is one of the best hosts I’ve encountered in Vrbo. Excellent overall, no reservations!

Perfect Rincon spot!

Our host, Rachel, was fantastic with communication. Always extremely prompt and provide us any information we needed and solved. Any problem we had. It was a pleasure working with her! The house was perfect for Five Guys around 50 years old in Rincon for a surf trip. It has everything you might need, in the pool was the icing on the cake along with the views.

Our stay at Villa Makaira

Our stay at villa Makaira was so amazing. The view from the house was so beautiful and the house, itself, was unreal. We loved the interior of the house, etc. Nevertheless, on the outside it was a little dirty and the grass was a little tall. Overall, it was a great experience and we appreciate everything related to the villa.

Sunset Paradise

This property is amazing! We are veterans of the Rincon, Puerto Rico vacation and have been coming for over 10 years to surf and snorkel and relax. We have seen this house for years and decided to give it a chance when our standard location fell through. What a bonus! This place is great! Walking to Dogman's to surf is no problem, walking to Steps to snorkel is simple and the deck and pool, coupled with an expansive interior was perfect for our family (2 kids). I would recommend this house to anyone. Rachel was very helpful and communicative and we could not have been happier. Thank you! We'll be staying again soon.

The property was very nice at first. We arrived late in the day on a Saturday and everything was great. The view, the pool
the location. The house is a bit outdated compared to some others in the area but generally nice property. Steps from the beach and within 5 minutes of the Pueblo (town center). The downside to the property is that the power went and despite having a fully functional backup generator, we couldn’t keep it running 24/7. Could only run it for 12hrs at most. Though the property manager was attentive, it was an inconvenience to plan our days around having or not having power. LUMA was working in the area but when we left on Wednesday, we still had no power. Originally scheduled for 7 days , we ended up staying for 3 and left early. There some other tenants that came out at night in the house and the Mrs wasn’t having it. It’s unfortunate that we had to leave because the location was amazing!

Paradise In Rincon

This property was everything we were looking for and more. Not only was The listing exactly as listed but the essence with the views and environment are breath taking in person. The artwork and cleanliness of the property makes it that much better. Little lizards and cute birds visit throughout the day and if you wake up early you can watch the Cows Hurd themselves to their resting place, truly majestic. Rincon Paddleboards, The Beach House and plenty of other great places to see in Rincon are moments away. House is also moments from Steps beach where you can snorkel and see beautiful fish. My family and I really fell in love with this Listing and will be returning as soon as possible. For anyone looking for a little slither of heaven I highly recommend Villa Makira (This listing) you will be far from disappointed.

As a family home we make it comfortable and well stocked with everything you could need for a relaxing vacation. It is also walking distance to some of the best beaches in Puerto Rico weather you want a nice relaxing snorkel with sea turtles or try your hand at surfing some
