Perfect Rincón Getaway

We absolutely loved the grounds and beautiful architecture. This house is be perfect for those who want to be close to the beach but also far enough removed for some peace and quiet.

Just Amazing!!

We stayed seven nights in this beautiful villa. The Villa and views of the surrounding landscape to the ocean are so much more amazing in person. The check in/out process couldn’t have been easier. It had everything we needed. Location was perfect. Thank you Kalea and Santos. We hope to return again someday.

Beautiful place

The four of us stayed five nights. Beautiful view of the ocean in the distance -- close enough to see the splash of whales traveling along the coast. We also saw iguanas perched in the trees below the house, and an assortment of birds.As is typical in PR, neighborhoods have an assortment of homes, some new and priced up to 2M, and others needing some love. This home is a hidden gem, crafted of stone and separated from the street by a wall and and rooftop garden. Quiet at night, other than the jungle sounds. We pretty much lived on the veranda, which has a hammock, comfortable chairs and nice views. By mid-day we'd be float in the private pool before heading out for a late lunch.We hope to visit again.

Tranquility and spacious getaway

A great spot to call home for a restorative week away with friends. Beautiful views of the water, and sounds of wildlife; Puntas Stone Villas had all necessities for a comfortable stay.

Stunning home

This home is even better than it seems in the pictures. It is beautiful, spacious and sparkling clean. The outdoor area is gorgeous with a lovely view of the ocean. The host is easy to communicate with and very responsive. This is one of the loveliest rental homes we have stayed in. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again! Wow. Pictures don’t do it justice—incredible place

Palatial accommodations, incredible stonework, wonderful views, comfy beds, usable kitchen, immediate and clear communication with helpful hosts and reps. Fresh fruit! This place is unique. Close enough to walk to Sandy Beach but high enough for fresh breezes. We love Rincón and we will definitely come back to this house. Thanks!

Paradise

Beautiful property-very unique. Quiet and cool with gorgeous vista views. Santos very nice and helpful. Had some difficulty with Vrbo when trying to get info about checking in but property manager was very helpful and it all worked out beautifully. Loved area -restaurants and bars around Rincon were wonderful. Loved jacks shack for fish tacos and tamboo for lunch.

Absolutely Amazing Oasis

This property is absolutely amazing and magical! There’s almost no way to fully describe just how beautiful the property is! The landscaping is beautifully done and provides the renter with tons of fruit trees and a totally tranquil living space. The house was clean and the perfect size for us. The bedrooms were cool but the other parts of the house were a little warm. There’s always a breeze, so we could have opened the windows to let in some fresh air. We spent 99% of our time outdoors anyway. Kalea was very accommodating and they provided us with total privacy. I absolutely loved this property and Rincón!!! I would love to come back one day.

This villa is amazing. Absolutely awesome! We loved every minute of our 6 night stay. Kalea and Santos made it such an enjoyable experience. Even when the A/C crapped out in our bedroom, they had it fixed immedietely, plus there are tons of fans to keep the air moving. Such an awe-inspiring amount of love and work went into the building of this structure. Santos, take a bow sir. I am saving my pennies and counting the days until I am back in that hammock on the front porch!!

Beautiful, but I must be honest...

The home is stunning and very different from anywhere we have ever rented. It features a unique combination of stone and concrete, with tile and timber beams on the ceiling.I'd like to share my honest assessment of the pros and cons of our stay, keeping in mind that we previously rented a home with a pool in Rincon, Puerto Rico, for seven people without encountering these issues.Pros:Stunning homeBeautiful viewsSmall cooling poolAir conditioning in the bedrooms (only)Communication with the host was excellent. The host family lives on the first floor of the home and they were responsive and very helpful as we checked in late and had to call after 10 p.m. The host guided us through the process very nicely. The host came by in person multiple days to make sure our we were okay and answered our questions. Cons:There were bugs (water bugs/cockroaches) in the bathroom and around the home.We needed to fill the pool with water almost every day; we had not been asked to perform this task before in our other rentals.The condition of some kitchen items was lacking. The drying rack for dishes was broken, utensils were damaged and in need of replacement, and only one dishcloth and dishtowel were provided, which meant regular laundering.The eight-minute walk to Sandy Beach in the original description, was a very a steep walk, and for health reasons not feasible. A rental car was required.This home is lovely, but its description did not match our expectation. Best wishes

Beautiful Property and Beach

The property is amazing much more than we expected. We came for 5 days on our honeymoon and we’re amazed with the house and local neighborhood. The beach is a 2 min drive down the hill and tons of local restaurants. The city of Rincon was amazing as well is you can make it on a Thursday there’s a local art show and festival. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen much but I would recommend some baking sheets. Our only regret was being unable to use the pizza oven!

magical spot

really happy with house and location in Rincon- storybook house. Very rare to find and A quality house in Rincon. only holdback was internet wasn't working. i work remotely and they were honest that it's not very reliable but i delayed trip till friday afternoon so i could be assured of getting to work on line. Manager is keen guy and i suggested sky link to him.

Simply Awesome

Go. Stop searching for properties on homeaway, bouncing over to airbnb, and stopping by expedia to find a place. If this property is available for your dates of travel, go. The 1/2 mile walk to Sandy Beach will be a welcome number of steps to work up an appetite and eat at Tamboo after stopping by the Mango Surf Shop. The fountain in the pool will be just cool enough running off the rocks to cool you down from the 85 degree air temperature. Go. As you rest your head to go to sleep on an incredibly comfortable bed, you will hear the coqui frogs in the trees. When you wake up in the morning, grab a guava and a lemon off the trees in "your" front yard, throw them in the Vitamix blender (no extra fees required!) and add some ice for a morning smoothie that cost you NOTHING. Go. Enough already...GO! This place is amazing. Stop being silly and GO.

Great location, great surfing area, tropical!

1. If you love water sports, this is the place to go as far as Puerto Rico goes. Water is warm and beautiful! Lots of local bars and restaurants. The house is super close to the beach. If you want to stay fit, the hill that leads to the beach can be super fun for morning work outs. 2. The house is so unique! Love the personal touch and detail put into this great house. The pool is awesome, especially after full day of hot sun at the beach. 3. We had excellent weather the first couple of days and then the wind and rain happened! Despite that, we had a blast in the sauna and pool, hammocks, and just taking in the view. 4. You guys have one awesome garden. Loved picking papayas now and then for our smoothies and I wish we came in time for the figs and more coconuts! 5. People are great, lots to see! Rent a car so you can drive and explore the place. We are coming back! Thank you Kalea and Santos. You are awesome.

great vacation getaway

As you are driving to the house you start to wonder where exactly will you end up but once you see the little stone sign and open the big gate any apprehension goes away. The house is amazing. The craftmanship and attention to detail is really something that shouldn't be over looked. The house and outside space are wonderfully set up and provided everything we needed for our stay. The location is close enough to so many restaurants and things to do in Rincon but you still feel far enough away once you're up in the mountains and at the house. The breeze is great and if you open all the windows and doors you get that tropical feeling, especially with all the sounds, day and night. Kalea and Santos were most helpful and very responsive. The pool area is set up really nice and we actually spent most of our time hanging out by the pool. We brought a small bluetoothe speaker, went to the local supermarket and grabbed some beer and food and just totally relaxed. They provided towels and pool floats. It really does feel like you are in a home and not just a house. Rincon is far from many of the usual things to do in PR but that was the point of this vacation for our family and the Stone Puntas Villa is a gem that provided us with exactly what we were looking for.

Place is as it appears with the exception of the top of the house- house is below street level so hard to see that it’s built into the hill. It’s very unique and clean. It’s all about the exterior though- the outdoor space is amazing and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. It’s mostly peaceful but there are a few little things you should be aware of and that the owner should address. 1. Lot of firewood but no way to lite it! Went to store to get some matches and starter sticks- the old school newspaper doesn’t work 2. Toaster needs to be replaced- you have to hold it down and that’s annoying with 2 kids waiting for bagels or toast 3. Bathroom door hard to close and handle loose- simple to fix but didn’t see any tools 4. Few bulbs out- bathroom (1) and several outside although place lit up well but cosmetically I’d have them changed 5. Ok you need to know that the owners are on property and above the house is where they work. Not a big deal but expect to hear drilling at times and have water flowing down from the house to the patio or landing since they water the trees they harvest. Very nice people and all very minor inconveniences- look it’s rincon not a 5 star ritz Carlton

Private, Tropical Oasis

I’d just like to start off saying that first hand reviews played a critical role in our process of choosing a vacation destination. The property and location are the top decisions that you must make. Starting with the property, ‘what you see is what you get’ with Puntas Stone Villa. The property is as advertised. Beautiful, private, secluded oasis…your own mini resort with Kalea and Santos acting as your personal concierges. I can’t say enough about how responsive they were. In addition they made you feel as if you were friends staying over for the week instead of clients renting their property. Be sure to use the GPS coordinates to make your way through the winding roads to the house and don’t be surprised if you drive right past the entrance. The view of the property from the street is very misleading, but don’t be discouraged. Just pull down the driveway, ring the bell, walk through the gate and I promise you your jaw will drop. Again, beautiful property and a home that was clearly built by a true artist and also decorated very tastefully. Now on to the location….Rincon is a sleepy little town in the country. The house is tucked up in the hills just minutes from Sandy beach which by the way is the best swimming beach in Rincon. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the front porch as you watch the sun rise, feeling the cool morning breeze coming off the ocean and listening to the rooster crowing in the distance. Head on down to the beach for a quick morning swim and enjoy reading a book or just watching the pelicans float along in the clear waters amongst the surfers. Back up to the house for a light breakfast…a smoothie that you can make yourself with the fresh fruits you pick from your very own garden. Now it’s time for some snorkeling over at Steps Beach. Just a short drive through the country roads, past the fields with cows grazing under the palm trees, you’ll find some of the best snorkeling directly from the beach. I’ve never seen so many schools of different types of fish swimming all around you. Getting hungry, there’s Steps Quick Lunch right there at the beach…try the pinchos and arepas, and don’t forget the coco frio. Next up, a trip to downtown Rincon, again just a short drive away. A quaint little town with a center square where you can go to a farmers market on Sundays and a craft market Thursday evenings. Don’t forget to stop in to Rincon Brewing Company where you can sample some local Puerto Rican craft beer and ta
