Come live like a local and stay in the heart of the Irish Channel in our newly renovated home! Escape the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter (only a short drive away) and relax in that easy breezy uptown atmosphere. Less than two blocks off the famous Magazine street where you will have endless options of coffee, dining, and local shops! Take a stroll through the beautiful garden district, enjoy some brunch at Commanders Palace, and maybe take a streetcar ride down to the quarter.
Perfect place for a visit to New Orleans. Easy check in, good communication, clean and comfy. Thoughtful interior for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Great location. Close to all the uptown cafes, shops and restaurants. Easy walk to parades on St. Charles.
Property was just as described. Walking distance from a lot of restaurants and shopping. Owner was great and had lots of good recommendations for places to eat. I would stay here again.
The house was even cuter than the pictures. Very clean and well stocked! The neighborhood was quiet and very nice. The owner responded quickly when we arrived a little early and worked it so we could check in early! Restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Great apartment in a great location! Went back for a family trip, moved away about 15 years ago and wanted to reintoduce our nephew to the city! Really great location a few blocks off Magazine St. About a 10min drive to the FQ and a 10min drive to Oak St.,so really ez to get around uptown and downtown! Apartment is setup very nice, very eclectic and has a great NOLA vibe! If you are looking for a full house in uptown, this isnt it, but its got everything else where it counts!
Great little place for couple or small group! Easy to fall into comfort here and live like a local. Quick access to cool part of Magazine. Great community feel. We loved it!
Excellent location and easy check in process. Really easy walk to magazine Street and all the shops and restaurant. Also the trolley is about nine blocks away which is an easy walk. Really nice to be able to find a property with enough beds for 3 to 4 people. One of the best was quite uncomfortable so I'm glad we only stayed a couple of days. It wouldn't deter me from staying there again because the rest of the property was great and the location was excellent.
Had a great time. All of family flew in for a wedding. Lots of eateries in walking distance. Felt safe and secure. Bed famed were a little squeaky, but mattresses were fine. Like other Nola properties, the house was a shotgun layout and the floors had some uneveness, but you adjusted. Because itâs an upstairs unit, would not recommend for those with accessibility issues.
We got to the house an hour early and let ourselves in...which I know isn't greatđŹ but property was ready and host was totally cool which I appreciated alot. House is so cute with New Orleans character and decor. All 4 beds were so comfortable and amenities were amazing. This is a 5 star neighborhood, we walked to every parade on st Charles (5 or 6 blocks) and great restaurants at every corner. The little coffee bar was amazing and neighbors were literally the nicest . The only thing I can think of that wasn't great was the futon in living room, it was uncomfortable but house had like 4 extra blankets to lay down on it so ...we had a wonderful trip and would definitely love to stay again!!!! Thankyou so much!!!
The area is safe and quiet. It is also very close to Magazine St. which was convenient. The kitchen was large and had seating for us to enjoy conversing. There is also 2 bathrooms which was convenient. There are some stairs to enter so if you have difficulty with stairs this may not work. The main cons for us were that the room with the day bed did not have a door and was an area off the living room with a large (double door) opening. So there is no privacy and if someone is in the bed you can't use the living room. Also the windows in the day bed area and the smaller bedroom had very shear drapes with no blinds at all. The water pressure is extremely low. It is low in the showers and in the sinks. For us the location and the price worked. I would stay again if there was nothing else available. You just need to adjust to the water pressure and the early morning sunlight. I looked for extra sheets to drape over the windows but there weren't any available.
Lovely neighborhood, easy walk to Magazine Street and the trolley on Saint Charles. Lots of restaurants close-by.The layout was wonky because of the shotgun style. We did not know that you had to go through the bedrooms get to the kitchen or to the bathroom
The home is in a quiet neighborhood just off Magazine Street in the Garden District. Great location! Walkable to the St Charles Trolley, market, restaurants and to downtown. Very clean, comfy beds and great amenities.
Our group of 6/7 girls stayed for a long weekend to celebrate the about to be bride! We are so close to the main part of Magazine street and a short Uber away from Bourbon street. We loved it here!
We loved staying in this Irish Gem. We were taking our daughter back to Tulane for her Sophomore year and this property was just perfect. The location was great and the home was absolutely charming! We all appreciated the thoughtfulness/preparedness of the host in her efforts to make us feel at home in NOLA.
The pictures and description of this property are accurate, but don't do it justice. The kitchen is spacious and inviting, and the rooms are darling. The whole space was immaculate. Our host was immediate in her response to our questions.
The neighbors were kind and friendly, and we enjoyed walking to Magazine Street for delicious meals and great shopping. The St. Charles streetcar was just a couple of blocks in the other direction, and from there we were able to navigate the city.
The only precautionary remark would be for travelers with accessibility needs. The sidewalks in the neighborhood would be difficult to navigate with a wheelchair or walker, and the unit is upstairs.
Rented this apartment for a week to attend a conference. Location was perfect, quick walk to great restaurants on magazine & quick ride to FQ or convention center. The apartment itself was comfy, quaint and clean ina great neighborhood. We'd absolutely rebook if back in the area.
Great location, exceptionally clean, comfortable beds and amazing communication with the owners. Itâs located in a safe and beautiful neighborhood thatâs a short walk to many restaurants and shops. Super quick commute to the French Quarter via car. Cute balcony to sit outside and watch folks walking by. Highly recommend!!
