Welcome to our Floral Cabin! This cabin is a 572 square foot single room cabin with a king bed. It has a large living area with a full sleeper sofa and table that seats 4 people. It has a full kitchen and full bathroom. This cabin offers privacy and seclusion with beautiful views of the lake and forest. There is no cable, and no TV but we do get great cell coverage. This cabin has plenty of room to relax, disconnect, and get lost in the amazing views. The porch area has four chairs, a small table, and a grill. Sleeps four.

This cabin has a lake on site for your use. There is also a store on site where you can rent kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and purchase any items you may have forgot. You can also purchase a license for catch and release fishing.

Less than 2 minutes up the road is Cold Brook Reservoir where you can enjoy more lake time and lake activities.

Our cabin is conveniently located just minutes from Hot Springs. In the town of Hot Springs you can enjoy restaurants, shopping, and many attractions including Evans Plunge Mineral Spring, Moccasin Springs Mineral Spa, The Mammoth Site, Pioneer Museum, World Fossil Finder Museum and much more.

This cabin is also located 10 minutes from Wind Cave National Park and 15 minutes from Custer State Park. Both parks boast a multitude of hiking trails and outdoor activities and Wind Cave provides cave tours. The town of Custer is 45 minutes away and Mount Rushmore National Monument is an hour and forty-five minutes away.

If you are looking for rest, relaxation, disconnecting and spending time outdoors this cabin is perfect for you!

There is plenty to do in and around the Hot Springs area. We are minutes away from many local attractions and an hour away from some of the most notable South Dakota attractions.

Quiet and comfortable

Property was a little farther from the area that I thought I was booking, but we had plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked, the lake was a beautiful bonus and it was very quiet. The stars were gorgeous. And the nearby mineral Springs were a great surprise.

Relaxing and close to adventures

This provided just the right spot to relax while being close to adventures in Custer State Park (an amazing park with hikes and wildlife) and Windcave National Park. We enjoyed the clear pond for swimming and kayaking and cornhole in front of our cottage. Although the cottage may have been a bit dated, it was clean, comfortable, a good deal, and had everything our family of five needed. It was a great family friendly atmosphere and staff were very helpful.

Thank you for staying with us! We do have a coin operated laundry room facility onsite for anyone to use. The cabins are very nicely done but were never designed for people to live in long-term so they do not have some of the amenities of a house. We are sorry you had a hard time locating us. We do provide the address to put into navigational systems but sometimes technology isn't as grand as we would all like it to be. We can also provide maps upon request too! We hope you get a chance to stay with us again in the future.

Great first family vacation!

My boyfriend, daughter, and I had a great first family vacation! We loved everything about the place. We had absolutely no problems at all. The location was clean, private, and quiet. The only suggestions we have is to advertise that they're no tv's in the cabins just so we can plan. We had absolutely no problem with the no WiFi or cable, we loved that, but would of loved of been able to watch a movie with our daughter at the end of our day. If it was advertised then we would of been able to prepare more. As well as advertising that the sleeper sofa does not sleep four. Our original plan was to let our 2 year old daughter have the bedroom to herself and my boyfriend and I would sleep on the sleeper sofa. Unfortunately it was only big enough for one of us to sleep on. But we ended up making everything work! I do want to 100% say that these two suggestions do not relate to our happiness of our stay. We had so much fun and loved every minute! Just wanted to give a couple suggestions for future guests. We will absolutely be back in the future for what will be our yearly family vacation. Thank you so very much to the Stewart family!

Very Peaceful

We loved our stay at the Floral cabin. This cabin was a perfect size for the 2 of us plus 2 large dogs. It had everything we needed to serve as our base camp. The property is perfect for staying with pets- we love being able to walk around the lake. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the lake. The staff are super friendly and welcoming! We will stay here again.

Cozy peaceful cabin

Check in was easy, cabin was as expected - we slept 5 easily. There were a couple small repairs that need to be done, and we had several dinner guests (ants). But overall, I would stay again in a heartbeat - wonderful little pond for swimming & fishing and a very peaceful area.

Hello! My husband and I own and operate Hidden Lake Campground and Resort here in Hot Springs, South Dakota. We have three beautiful daughters, two in college, and one in high school. We love to enjoy hiking, swimming, fishing, basically any outdoor activity. There is so much to do here that we stay busy enjoying the great outdoors.
